AU Sugar Sugar is a bath and body product company that also offers a subscription box! Each month you can expect 3-4 small-batch, handcrafted items, many of which are new to the brand or exclusive to the box.

FYI: The brand recently changed its name from Ahhh Sugar Sugar to AU Sugar Sugar. Moving forward, they'll be focusing on hiring those who are on the autism spectrum and have updated their name to reflect this initiative.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

AU Sugar Sugar “Breakfast At Tiffany's” January 2021 Review

This box arrives with information on the box lid that gives you more details about the brand.

It also comes with an info sheet detailing the products included this month.

AUSS Brunch With Tiff Liquid Hand Soap - Listed Value $8.50

I love the fun blue color of this hand soap- it’s gorgeous! Most of the hand soap in my apartment comes from subscription boxes, so I’m happy to see this large bottle. My boyfriend loves pancakes, so he was a fan of the scent on this soap- it’s a gourmand mix of cinnamon sugar, fluffy pancakes, and warm maple.

AUSS The Audrey Bath Frosting - Listed Value $14.00

I have a large bath frosting collection, but I’m not mad about it. This is a signature product from Au Sugar Sugar, and the mix of whipped soap and scattered exfoliating sugar granules cleanses and gently exfoliates your skin, without being stripping thanks to the oils and butters this is formulated with. Nine times out of ten when I’m showering, I’m reaching for a bath frosting to soap up. This bath frosting in particular has a scent of amber, rose petals, and clean beach air. I’m digging the yin and yang vibe of the white and black frosting, and since the label has the word “detoxifying” I’m wondering if this has some activated charcoal in the formula.

Clutch Your Pearls Massage Lotion - Listed Value $9.50

I enjoy receiving massages from my boyfriend, so this massage lotion is a welcome addition to my lotion Arsenal. This is formulated specifically to glide across the skin and not leave much residue, and I found it to be very lightweight on my skin. The scent is a mix of crisp champagne, juicy apples, and sparkling pear, and it was a really refreshing, fruity scent that I enjoyed.

AUSS Donuts For Breakfast Glycerin Soap - Listed Value $7.00

I’m not much of a bar soap person (see bath frosting commentary above), but if I was someone who had a guest bathroom or a need for decorative soap, this would be fun to have out on display. This didn’t have a listed fragrance, but my nose picks up notes of cinnamon and coconut. Those aren’t on the ingredients list, so maybe my nose is playing tricks on me and it doesn’t smell like anything at all?

AUSS Watermelon Tini Lip Scrub - Listed Value $7.00

I have a lot of lip scrubs, and yet I’m not mad to have more of them. This is a sugar scrub that’s flavored with watermelon and citrus (it’s tasty!), and it did a good job exfoliating my lips without being too drying.

The Verdict: I am all over this theme- while I’ve never seen Breakfast at Tiffanys (please don’t hate me), I am familiar with themes from the movie, and thought this box did a great job running with it. I enjoyed the products sent this month too! According to the listed values, the value of this box adds up to $46.00. If you sign up hoping for an amazing deal, you probably won’t be happy, but if you’re looking for well-curated bath and body products in unique scents, with creative packaging and a great mission, I think this is worth checking out.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you still sign up today? No, but sign up today for the March box!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $34.99 + $8.32 shipping ($43.31), which means each of the 5 items I received has an average cost of $8.66.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.
