I just wanted to warn everybody, I picked all my choices as soon as customization opened. I triple checked everything and made sure it was saved correctly. Now that customization is closed, it’s showing the wrong choices for every single category! It’s giving me all stuff I don’t want. I am positive I did everything right, this is a system error, not a user error. This has never happened to me before. I was pretty excited about my choices, I am not okay with not getting what I paid for. I messaged customer service and haven’t heard back yet, hopefully they’ll fix it! This is the first time I’ve had an issue. You all should double check your boxes when customization closes to make sure this didn’t happen to you. Has anyone had this happen before, and did they fix it?

I just wanted to follow up here, customer service got back to me and everything is fixed! It was a technical issue with the choices displayed wrong, but not saved wrong. It affected multiple people, but it’s fixed and my choices are correct now. Phew! I’ve been a subscriber for a couple years and this is my first time contacting FFF customer service, but they got back to me the same day as everything’s good!

I am NOT impressed at all! This is my last box of my yearly subscription and I will be cancelling. The quality of the boxes have declined significantly and the prices they claim the products retail for is a complete hoax! I subscribe to make-up boxes and I can get add-ons through those boxes for a fraction of the price of what the “discount” price is for the add-ons with fff! I really used to look forward to fff boxes, but the last couple have not impressed me and this one looks completely awful! Seems like a lot of junk.

This is the second year in a row that I don’t care for the Spring box. Making me rethink the whole annual thing just so that I can skip the Spring one.

Reply ButtonReply

jodi

your allowed to skip one box it’s on the app.

Reply ButtonReply

Christi

I was waffling back-and-forth about the planter, I noticed many people choosing that. Can you grow things other than basil? I’m assuming you can use it for starting seeds?? What is everybody going to use it for?

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

You can grow anything in this. It’s not hydroponic though as I saw them put soil in it. With that being said, it only goes so high so you can’t grow plants that get very tall without aggressive pruning. My suggestions would be annual flowers, lettuces (if you want to try). You could also just plant a tropical plant in it, such as a pothos or philodendron.

Reply ButtonReply

shakingmyhead

I can’t speak to this particular hydroponic system, but I have an Aerogarden and I grow all sorts of different herbs, tomatoes and different types of lettuce in mine. I also start some of my other vegetable seeds in it as well. The only thing that won’t work are the root veggies. I love my Aerogarden, but I would imagine most of these hydroponic growing systems work just as well. Enjoy!

Hey does anyone remember how much it was to add on extra items from each category I think I remember $15 and $7 but can’t remember which categories they were for anyone got some info? please…. thanks

2. $15
3. $10
4. $7
5. $7

My annual subscription renews with this box. I decided to cancel. I think it’s a good box, there’s lots of variety, just nothing I’m interested in. I’ll still be interested to see what else comes in the box, but no FOMO for me this time around.

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

ya’ll in the comments are crazy for sleeping on that Josie Maran serum… I buy it from the JOsie website, and the cost alone of that serum covers this whole box!! that stuff is my holy grail!

For the and the Verso eye retinol alone, I’d say this box is worth it. everything else is just extra to me!

Reply ButtonReply

Annie

The Josie Maran argan oil is wayyy over priced, as is most argan oil sold by beauty brands. You can get 100% argan oil of identical quality and size for about $10 from most health food stores in the oils section. I usually get mine at Sprouts.

Reply ButtonReply

zo

Yes, this. The same for shea butter.

Lana

I’m not sleeping on it. I’ve tried it and I don’t like it. Marula oil is lighter and my skin likes it way better. Also infinitely cheaper form The Ordinary at $10

Verso I agree on though, getting the box for it.

Allison

I also see another spoiler: Each brand white daisy hair clips or earrings. I can’t tell exactly.

Reply ButtonReply

Allison

I also see possibly pink nail polish as a spoiler.

Reply ButtonReply

Allison

I spied another spoiler: SFGlow Foil Lip Mask

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

FYI, on their website, they also have pictured nude pink nail polish, human = kind hand scrub and a lip masks. I’m assuming these are part of the 7th & 8th category.

Janet L Coleman

Does anyone know how strong of a rose scent the perricone has?

Reply ButtonReply

Della

I use quite a bit of products from the perricone line and can tell you the scent is not obnoxious. I hate anything rose scented but this is subtle enough and dissipates quickly that it does not bother me at all. I’m choosing this item 👍

Reply ButtonReply

Della

I use quite a bit of Perricone products and can tell you the rose scent is not obnoxious at all. I hate rose scents in general but the scent in their moisturizers are light and dissipate quickly. It’s gonna be my choice for that category 👍

Reply ButtonReply

michellecarice

Hi Janet, I have not personally used this product but I have read a ton of reviews and overall this product has a 4.5 out of 5. Most of the negative reviews were based on the scent. Most people agreed that the scent was pleasant but overpowering. Some said it dissipates quickly though. Fragrance/parfum is towards the end of the ingredient list. If you have sensitive skin or don’t like rose scent I would pass on this moisturizer however if you have normal skin and don’t mind the scent, the positive reviews said that it feels like silk going on the skin and most saw improvements with fine lines. There are way more positive than negative reviews. I hope this helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Kas

Does anyone know if the throwback items are old stock or if they are new? And if I’m Canadian and I choose to skip the box, can I shop the add-on sale with my credit (assuming I would pay for shipping)? Thanks.

Loving this box!!!

Reply ButtonReply

My picks
Tote
Organizer
I have tried the CocoFloss years ago and wanted to love it. It didn’t glide very well for me and kind of hurt. But maybe that was just me.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

I think the cocofloss is a love or hate thing. My husband and younger daughter hate it. My teen daughter and I love it. I’ve bought her so many flosses to try and there was always some reason she didn’t like them. She actually uses the cocofloss.

Reply ButtonReply

JoJoB.

Allison, it was not just you. I still have over half a roll in my desk drawer for emergencies only if I literally have nothing else to use. It hurt me as well and became stringy and separated every single time I used it. It also busted out of it’s box after like the 3rd use so it is just in a ball in my desk drawer! 🙂

I’m glad it works for others but I was not a fan. I’m not saying this to complain, I just wanted you to know you are not alone. I know not every product works for every person and I for one always feel better when someone assures me I am not the only person a specific product that everyone else seems to love does not work for me. In fact, I was really glad to see your comment so thanks! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Kat

The floss looks great but I have a permanent retainer so regular floss is too hard :((
I’ll be getting:
Sanitizing bed OR basil planter
BDB Brushes
Eye serum?? Didn’t like these options :((
Makeup organizer OR hair scarves
Dry oil

Reply ButtonReply

Lindsey

Not on topic: but have you found anything that works with you permanent retainer? I have one as well and haven’t found anything. Even my hygienist has difficulty flossing my teeth 😬

Reply ButtonReply

Lana

I have one as well. Waterpick, GUM soft-picks, or GUM floss threaders (looks like a plastic needle made of fishing line, you can hook regular floss through them)
I love coco floss btw

Kat

Lindsey- get a water flosser on amazon. Theyre about 20$ and the best flosser i have used to date!

Paulina K

I didn’t have the ability to add the MSASPRING offer code when I signed up for the annual subscription this morning. Is it worth getting in touch with FFF to ask them to add it to my order? Do you know what is included in the $200 value gift?

Reply ButtonReply

Mallory @ MSA

Hi Paulina! Are you already a subscriber? If so, this code is only available for new subscribers, which may be why the option wasn’t available. If you are new to FabFitFun, we would definitely recommend reaching out so their team can adjust this. 😊

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

Not a huge fan of the customization 3 spoilers. I might have to upgrade to annual though, since the grown alchemist body lotion is top notch; I would choose the bag or floss for the other. Definitely see options in 4-5 I would rather not get, so….

Reply ButtonReply

Jenjen

Amy- have you used this lotion before? It’s probably the only item I’d pick from this category but I’m not sure of the scent. Is it super orange-y?

Reply ButtonReply

JenJen

Thanks ladies! I think the GA will def be my choice 😀

Shannon

I have this lotion and LOVE it!! It is very citrus-y when first applied, but tones down to a light sweet scent in just a few minutes!

Shaun

No, not at all, more of a light herbal scent to me with some orange undertones. It’s an extremely “grown up” scent, and really lovely. Other than clarins which is more moisturizing, this grown alchemist is my go to body lotion.

Sara

I was juuuust about to get a mini makeup organizer like that! I feel like it’s a sign. That being said, I also really want the scarves, elemis mask, and I’m eyeing the grown alchemist. Anybody have any input or experience to help me narrow down those choices? I was originally about to pick up the STORI 5 category organizer but this looks like it’ll work for foundations on the side

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

Yeah, I would skip the makeup organizer! They have bigger, fancier ones for $8–12 at Walmart and Amazon. The RV on that organizer is inflated like WHOA. If it’s the daisy print on the bottom you’re interested in, some decorative paper and mod podge (or, if you want to be real fancy, an overhead projector sheet) should do the trick!

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle Whitehead

Run to TJ Maxx they are $4.99

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

I totally agree! Some really great choices for 4 and 5. Really getting excited for this box!

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Glad to see that Category 4 has some good choices this time! I think I’m going with:

Category 1 – Indoor Basil Planter
Category 2 – MAC Lipstick Duo + Core Toning Kit
Category 3 – Hair Mask
Category 4 – Elemis Papaya Peel
Category 5 – Coco Floss Trio

Honestly also kind of thrilled about Coco floss being an option since I’ve always wanted to try it. Since it’s in the “worst” category I don’t feel like I’m missing out by not picking anything else from those choices.

Reply ButtonReply

Carolee

I absolutely love the dental floss (I’m a bit of a dental floss junkie) and coco floss is my all time favorite dental floss. The flavors are amazing, the floss glides in smoothly yet allows for a decent “scrub” between your teeth without irritating your gums at all. It is my HG of dental floss.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

Do I think this is a fantastic box? No, I don’t. But I don’t really hate it and the value, for me, is there. I want the Laszlo bar and that’s $34 dollars on it’s own. I’m curious to know why people love that dental floss so much so I’ll probably try that. The box has already paid for itself there so the rest is bonus. I like the tray, I’ll either get the eye cream or the coasters to put under plant pots and probably the lunch box. Usually the least exciting boxes are the ones that I really use.

Reply ButtonReply

Jodie

I hated the floss at first because it was kind of rough on the gums, but it really does get in between and clean well…it gets so much stuff out vs regular floss…LOL

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley C

Nice! I’m just a seasonal so I can’t pick, but I’m hoping for the floss (can’t believe I’m saying lmao) and almost anything from the 5th section! This is probably the strongest spring box I’ve ever seen from them. Just my opinion!

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

Did any of you get the packing cubes the first time around? I love the idea but they honestly actually look too large to feel super useful. Am I overthinking it?

Reply ButtonReply

Esp

I got them. They’re good quality but way too big if you’re a light packer. I ended up gifting mine.

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

This is super duper helpful! Thank you all so much!!

Sounds like they wouldn’t be super useful for my current needs – I’m a super light packer! – but woot woot, this frees me up to get that pretty watch!

Reply ButtonReply

Vivicca

I have them and I use them for extra storage of scarfs, t-shirts, cat clothes, etc.

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

Cat clothes – please expound?

Andrea

I got the packing cubes. I like them a lot for organizing. The larger one is a good size for T-shirts, PJs, a gym outfit, or swimsuits. It’s nice to be able to grab what i need quickly. I like having a little larger size included. I usually use the other sizes for socks and undies.

Reply ButtonReply

Brandi

I got them and love them. When traveling, I often share a suitcase with my husband. This helps keep my stuff together and organized instead of having to dig around a large suitcase looking for something.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

They’re huge. The smallest one is really the only one small enough to fit in any of the bags I normally pack in. They’d be good for storing stuff at home, but way too big for a small-to-medium sized suitcase, so if you pack light, I’d recommend a smaller set. If you pack in a huge suitcase you’d probably be fine with these. I do highly recommend packing cubes in general, though. They’re super helpful for keeping things organized in long trips.

Reply ButtonReply

Teresa

If you travel and you don’t already have them get them. It’s so nice to have things organized when traveling. The bigger ones are great for jeans/pants and the middle one for shirts. I got extra ones for underpants, socks and bras. Very handy.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

They are okay. My daughter got a set from Amazon Basics for Christmas and I honestly like hers better.

Reply ButtonReply

Beth in Oklahoma

I have them, and haven’t used them—since I haven’t packed anything or traveled in a year 😢

Maybe later this year, or next . .

Reply ButtonReply

Mel

I got them and love them. Definitely not too large and they are super sturdy.

Reply ButtonReply

Wendy

Complain complain complain… I’m super excited for this box! You don’t like it cancel why be negative and I’m tired of hearing about the cactus cup!!!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Valencia

Why are you being so judgemental ??? Everyone has a right to their opinion and shouldn’t be talked down to because it doesn’t align with yours. I’ve been subscribing to this Box for a number of years, and I will be the first to agree that the past couple of boxes have been a fail – including this season. The values of many of these items are totally exaggerated, especially the make up organizer. Its worth about 10 bucks on a good day. Its a hodge podge of random items. I’m looking for unique things (they don’t have to be super expensive). Not items i can walk into any local TJ Maxx or Ross and pick up for a fraction of the FABFITFUN “quoted value”

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

Okay but the cactus cup is SPECTACULAR and it’s cruel of FFF to tease us like this.

Reply ButtonReply
