$50 for an ab ball and exercise bands! I’ve seen these items at Five Below. At Marshalls you can find $10 packing cubes, $40 high-end duffle bag, $10 umbrellas, etc… Why are the retail values always outrageously inflated?! You aren’t fooling us.

I’m excited about some of the options but the major difference in value is baffling. A $150 duffel OR a $45 mask and serum? It’s such a wide gap. That first round ought to be split into two groups to choose from.

Sorry but I cancelled 2 boxes ago and have to say I’m feeling pretty pleased with myself.

Nice to see they have a fit item in there!! Though I don’t need what is in this customization.. I hope they will have more!! I actually wish I could pick 2 out of customization 1. I’d go for the planter and the Perricone MD Rejuvenating Moisturizer. May go for the slippers or maybe the Argan Oil in the second choice.

Christina

I really like almost all these products but there’s nothing yet that’s making me think, “Oh, I have to resubscribe!” A lot of these are things I like but already own the same or a similar version, many from subs (umbrella, packing cubes, moisturizers, slippers, mask, planner, duffel, lipsticks, brushes, tray). I’m going to keep an eye on it but for now I plan to skip.

Katie

I have a pretty set facial regimen but have used Perricone in the past n liked it. So, getting a full size jar at half price pays for the box itself n the rest is gravy.
I subbed to FFF a long time ago and felt the items were, well, juvenile n superficial. Now it’s like a shopping trip through discount stores n at $6-8 an item, it’s fun.
Sorely miss PSMH monthly. I still use some things from them.

Julie

I always find the people who write essays explaining why every single drastically different item wouldn’t work for them hilarious. Like ok I could sit in my house all day pointing at random things and give myself reasons why I “don’t have a need” for them.

Like maybe don’t pay for a lifestyle box then? Nothing in these boxes are supposed to be a necessity on your list of “needs”, they’re for fun and trying new products/brands lol.

I think it’s constructive telling why you are not interested in an item. And sometimes somebody highlights some features of a product that can help others to make informed decisions, as it happened for the planter or for skincare items with fragrances. The other times it’s entertaining, as you said, but regardless, I appreciate when people add more.

Our state is still in lockdown. Makeup brushes, lipsticks, lunchboxes, planners ,2 types of travel bags all things not really beneficial to us in a state still shut down. Maybe we hang on to the items until summer when hopefully restrictions loosen, but I personally would have preferred more home, lounge, comfort, exercise, organization etc.

And all my Dr. Dray fans- the skincare they have all have fragrance which is known to cause problems and best not to be left in skincare. I’ve used the oil before. It’s an oil so even if some does partly absorb, most of it won’t. It’s best bet at working is by trapping moisture you already have into the skin and creating a barrier. Vaseline does this too. She overcharged for her product and those who watch QVC will swear by its quality. Really, if you find it “cold- pressed”, then any nutritional content hasn’t been cooked out in the bottling process. Also, degrades once exposed to light and without a preservative. A dark bottle helps but so does an air proof pump- not a dropper or a jar. Enjoy it if you like it and it makes you happy, you be you. Just keep in mind about purchasing at full price 😉

Sorry, not sorry but I can’t take advice from Dr Dray. I’ve seen a few of her videos and she looks sickly. It’s obvious she suffers from anorexia and it’s very apparent when you watch her ‘food’ videos. All classic signs are there. I know it’s not fair to discredit her because of mental health issues but she looks sick.

Carrie Beth

The milk makeup products aren’t scented. It says watermelon but I think it’s just bc of the color. I have the big version of the brightening stick.
I also watch Dr. Drey

Reply ButtonReply

LJ

Wish the planter didn’t need soil like some of the more expensive versions, but that appeals to me. That said, I do really like Alice & Olivia and am a bit of a travel bag “collector.” I’ll probably go for the core toning kit as I have not kept up with exercise during quarantine – although I don’t have the highest hopes in my dedication to actually use it.

This will be my 2nd box, I loved everything in the winter box. I like these options, it’s going to hard to choose. I’m a slipper girl, so I love that option.

Reply ButtonReply

Misty Ruddell

I agree! These people that subscribe just to complain about everything, I don’t understand. I purchase this box AND AD-ons because I love the options that I have. Of course I don’t like everything. But for the most part, I chose to spend my money here because I things I love for an incredible price!

Reply ButtonReply

AnnaMarie

Peg, I think that Misty was just sharing her opinion. Both hers & yours & mine opinions are all welcome. And IMO I don’t think she was shaming anyone. But I also respect the fact that you disagree with me. 🙂

Peg

This is a forum for people to voice opinions, good and bad about products & sub boxes. No one has a right to shame others for that. No wonder we can’t have world peace.

Tammy

I found out that the lunchbox is made by the same people who make that popular Always Pan. Go to fromourplace dot com. I will try that out even though I have others. I love the brushes (not that I need them, but because of the quality of the brand), Josie Maran which I already use, the Perricone cream, the lipsticks…Might get the basket and watch also, can’t get the slippers because my 2 akitas will be trying to pull them off my feet. I turn 60 soon, so skincare is always my first choice with FFF, and there are two great choices here.

Reply ButtonReply

Joyce

I have been wanting to try the always pan. I am hoping our box comes with a discount code or coupon for that.

Reply ButtonReply

Peg

I see a few items in Category 1 that I will definitely pick up. I’m not feeling Category 2 as much. I will probably go with the Josie Maran as I absolutely love her line. I’ve used this product before and her body butters are some of the best around. Hopefully we will see more of her products in add ons.
I am starting to see alot of repeats in this box that have already been offered in Boxycharm. Like the Billiion Dollar Brows brush set – a word of warning, this is a low quality brand and these brushes are not good. I saw a similar set at TJ Maxx recently for 6.00. Also boxy was selling the same exact Mac lip shades in add ons for 5 bucks. The lunch box and exercise equipment can also be picked up for under 10 dollars at TJs or Marshalls. Really the Josie Maran is the best pick in this category and none of the remaining items would be worth an extra 15.00.
I hope the next 2 picks are good. Not to be a negative nancy but in the Winter box everything beyond customization 2 was a let down – especially the Fabfitfun picks. Just my opinion.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

I have been feeling that about FFF for a long time, just random stuff I can grab cheap at my local Tj Maxx or Marshalls. Even if the value is there (well, you are still only paying around $10 for an item), I just feel like I am collecting junks that I don’t need.

Reply ButtonReply

shakingmyhead

These all look like really good choices! I am on a no spend diet for the next few months, but I hope everyone enjoys the box!

Reply ButtonReply

Yolanda

Hi guys! This looks really cool, when do u have to sign up to get this Spring Box and not the winter? How many categories are there? Does choosing something from a category mean I won’t be getting any of the other items in that category or is there still a possibility of getting them? How much are add ons? What are starter boxes? Lol sorry I don’t know anything about FFF but it looks interesting, I must be getting burned out on the makeup subs! Thank y’all 😊😊😊.

Reply ButtonReply

Katy

I’m not sure about when to sign up in order to start with the Spring box, but the item you pick in a category means you only receive that item. Depending on availability, you may be able to add other items from a category for an extra fee. This fee will vary depending on the price point for the category (I’ve seen them range from $5-$25). I believe there are 7 categories total. Annual subscribers get to customize 5 of the choice and seasonal get to select 2 items for customization. Adds on are a perk of those who subscribe, where you can get higher priced items at a reduced cost, They come in tons of categories and it will depend what you are looking for/need what the cost could possibly be.

Reply ButtonReply

Yolanda

Wow, thank you so much Katy and Sherri!!!!!!

Sherri

Katy has offered a great explanation, but just a few points of clarification. There are a total of 8 categories. FFF picks the items for the last 3 categories for everyone. If you are an annual subscriber, you pick your items for the first 5 categories. If you are a seasonal subscriber, you pick from the first 3 categories, and FFF picks for you for the other 2 (along with the last 3 as with everyone). In addition to add-on sales (that come out at the time the box does, and the items ship free with your box), FFF also has edit sales, which are basically the same thing (a wide variety of items available for purchase at a discount), but they happen between boxes and ship separately (shipping is free if you spend over $25 in an edit sale). Annual subscribers, as a perk over seasonal subscribers, get earlier access to add-on and edit sales, as well as customization. And yes, if you choose one item in a category, depending on availability you may be able to add on one of each of the other items in the category for a fee.

Starter boxes are basically mini-boxes (around 4 items) and a chance to try FFF. When you sign up for a starter box (a current subscriber has to enter your info and then you get an email to complete the process), you pay $5 shipping (I think $8 for Canada) but the box itself is free. Signing up for a starter box starts a subscription, so if you decided FFF isn’t for you, you’ll actively need to cancel or else you will be charged for and receive the next season’s box at the appropriate time.

Jodi Jehning

Looks like I’ll be skipping this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

Wow, some folks on here are picky. Personally, I’m loving the variety in the categories for this season’s box. Liking the lipstick duo, brush set, argan oil and slippers in this round. First round, definitely grabbing the planter and maybe the bag.

Reply ButtonReply

Sam

Agreed, I’m having a hard time thinking of something that someone WOULD want if they don’t want any of these things! I’m excited about these options and it’ll be hard to choose.

Reply ButtonReply

Tami

Pretty sure FFF could put gold bars in the box and some people would complain they hate gold lol.

Jodie Smith

IM SO GOAD IVE CANCELLED!!! All of this stuff has been done OVER AND OVER IN FABFITFUN
I DONT WANT ANY MORE OF THE SAME OLD THING waste of money

AprilAriesPb

Inside voice, please. And step away from the caffeine.

😆😂🤣

David

Sad the planter and phone soap aren’t available in the UK, but that tray is fun, I’ll definitely get use out of it. Hard yes on the workout kit too. Hoping for…. a nice unisex wallet and some haircare in the next few categories.

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

I love the Our Place lunchbox! I’m hoping to add on the Gaiam set, as well! For the first category I’m choosing the tray, and adding the duffle! I’d love that Perricone, too.

Reply ButtonReply

Lesley

Cat # 2 – I like the pink fuzzy slippers best! I’m thinking of adding on the lunch box or Josie Maran Argan oil. I already have a Bentgo lunch box but an extra is good to have and I like to use these for lunches to take to work. Never tried the argan oil but have heard it’s really good!

Cat #1 – I like the watch best! Thinking of adding on the duffle bag which looks good for a gym or beach bag.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

I literally thought this was an imaginary conversation you were having with your cats about FFF. I was like “okay girl, you do you!”

Reply ButtonReply

Sugarshay

I may be in the minority here but the first round spoilers are awesome. I’m adding everything except that Milk product. Only grabbing the slippers on the second round. Very difficult sometimes with subs for me because I don’t wear makeup at all. That’s what I like about FFF, there’s always something. Definitely looking forward to this box.

Reply ButtonReply

SquirrelyGirl

Leaning towards the Gaiam gear, but the bento box and argan oil are also on my radar.

Looking like a solid box to me, so far. What doesn’t work for me, will make nice ROAK surprise gifts for friends.

Reply ButtonReply

Molly

After the first round of spoilers, I was thinking I would order it, but looking at these, probably not. Don’t particularly want any of those things, even for free.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy in KC

Same here, Molly.

Reply ButtonReply

Dianne

My 1st pick is the Daisy bag and 2nd the Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil. I’ve bought the hair oil before lasted forever. Works for my hair and smells nice. The bag looks cute and I’ll use it.

Reply ButtonReply

katie

They will probably be my 2 choices:).

Reply ButtonReply

MJ

I really love MAC lipsticks but I don’t wear reds. However, that pink shade, Reverence, really got my attention. I looked it up on the Mac website and was able to snag it for $12 with free shipping. So if anyone else is interested in that shade but doesn’t want to buy the FFF box… well there you go 😊

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I’d gift the red and keep the pink. 🙂 Though I probably won’t choose the lipstick – it’s going to be tough to choose!
