Nourish Beauty Box November 2020 Review

Each month, Nourish Beauty Box arrives with an info card that has a quick overview of the box on one side and more detailed information about the four products included on the other.

Earth Harbor’s Luna Lei Phyto-Resurfacing Night Serum, 1 oz - Retail Value $54.00

Earth Harbor is the clean beauty brand that I never knew I needed until I started receiving their products in the Nourish Beauty Box. The Luna Lei Phyto-Resurfacing Night Serum, with its sleek packaging and opaque hue, is like a magical moonlit potion for your skin. This lightweight serum packs a huge punch with ingredients like seaweed collagen, tropic fruit enzyme, and neem seed oil to help target dark spots, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and excess oiliness. While you're off getting your beauty sleep, this night serum works overtime to refine and retexturize your skin to reveal a radiant and smoother complexion by the time your alarm goes off in the AM. I've been really enjoying this product; it's super light, absorbs quickly into my skin, leaving behind a slight hint of a tingle so I know it's working. In the morning, my face feels very soft, baby smooth, and hydrated. There's even a glow about me, which could be a layer of morning grease, but I like to think of it as a "dewy complexion" brought on by Luna Lei.

The Dirty Lamb Tea Tree Wand, 1 fl oz - Retail Value $42.00

I am so excited to receive this product! Dirty Lamb is a brand I've been wanting to try for a while. I would enviously watch as others received it in various subscription boxes. This Dirty Lamb Tea Tree Wand Quick Blemish Relief has one of my favorite applicator designs of any blemish spot treatment I've ever tried. It's a gentle roll-on applicator so you can precisely apply the product to only acne-prone areas on your face. With other creams or gels, product spreads quite a bit from the specific blemish I was trying to target, making other areas of my face irritated. The product has a natural medicinal scent that heavily highlights the tea tree and spearmint oils. The wand is also formulated with other acne bacteria killing ingredients like witch hazel and cinnamon, and jojoba oil to mimic skin's natural sebum and to hydrate and balance oil production. After using this product, it really seems to calm and soothe specific acne-prone areas of my skin and drastically reduce the size of any zits like magic. It started shrinking them down until they faded away to nothing.

Chiky Botanica Serene Serum, 1 oz - Retail Value $56.00

This product certainly looks like a magic potion, with its sour apple green color and golden lace design. This Chiky Botanica Serene Serum is wonderfully hydrating, magically restorative, and regenerative. It has a light herbal scent and a lustrous texture that feels incredibly moisturizing and quickly absorbs into my skin without leaving any greasy or oily residue behind. My skin was left feeling soft and smooth. Formulated with quality ingredients like blue tansy, argan oil, and frankincense, this product creates a cooling experience upon application and is perfect for treating dry, irritated skin, balancing out oil, and promoting collagen production.

Seraphine Botanical Flawless Face Brush Set, 3pc - Listed Value $45.00

Seraphine Botanical's Flawless Face Brush Set has some of the softest synthetic bristles ever and a classically elegant design. The handles are a pearlescent white made from 100% recycled wood and a beautiful rose gold ferrule that tightly holds the soft bristled head in place. This set includes a contour brush, a blush and highlight brush, and a buff and blend brush. These brushes feel fabulously soft and gentle on my face. My favorite would have to be the fluffy blush and highlight brush. It feels absolutely wonderful. The buff and blend brush is soft but densely packed and works well to apply loose or pressed powder evenly. I don't really contour nowadays since my mask will just cover it up, but the contour brush worked well for me to apply highlight. I think this brush set would be a charming addition to the top of any vanity.

Verdict: I think this month's Nourish Beauty Box was one of the best yet! There were some amazing products curated from some of the top brands in clean beauty. The Earth Harbor Luna Lei Phyto-Resurfacing Night Serum is an amazing rich, yet feather light, serum that smoothes out my complexion beautifully. The Dirty Lamb Tea Tree Wand is another amazing product in this month's box, using natural ingredients to target acne-prone skin. The Chiky Botanica Serene Serum has a wonderful cooling sensation that leaves my face feeling incredibly smooth and soft. Seraphine Botanicals Flawless Face Brush Set is beautifully designed and 100% cruelty-free. I love having this elegant set on my vanity. This month's retail value of $197 on a $29.95 box is an impressive value in my opinion. I think subscribers definitely got above and beyond their money's worth with this box, as well as some outstanding clean beauty products from top-notch brands.

I’m not currently subbed due to overload but Nourish is one of my favorite boxes. I might reup for a few more months since I’ve been missing it though. This one looks good, but I must say that I’m not a fan of the trend of companies mixing a bunch of oils together and calling them serums. Serums are completely different than oils especially as oils are occlusive! I guess they can charge more if they call it a serum? Oils are great and important as well: as barriers, soothers, for moisture retention, etc. But they should call it what it is & Just say “Blend of nourishing facial Oils”, not serum, as it takes away clout from Actual legitimate Serums on the market. Rant over, sorry, lol.

This looks like an awesome box (and thoroughly enjoy your reviews, Naomi), so I ordered one today, paid, only to come to find out that the Luna Lei and the Dirty Lamb items will not be in any more boxes for new subscribers due to the overwhelming amount of new subscribers, per Nourish.I have to say I was a bit disappointed, as I would not have been told this unless I had emailed customer service regarding a general billing question. I would’ve been super disappointed to get my box and it not have those two items! I immediately cancelled and requested a refund. I don’t know, I don’t get a good feeling when companies do this…and it seems like it’s happening more and more. ☹️ Just want to make everyone aware.

Actually when they run out of products they send a very nice email making the subscriber aware, and they include a list of 4 potential products to choose from as a replacement. They also provide a link for each product so you can research each one and decide which is best for you.

The replacement products are always stellar and similar to the box items, it’s never been an issue whatsoever and they make choosing another option simple.

Nothing to be upset over, I actually liked my replacement item more than the original they ran out of stock on.

This box is excellent and theIr customer service is amazing. They’re so on top of things and always striving to make sure their customers are 100% satisfied. This is probably my favorite out of the 4-5 sub boxes I’m subscribed to.

Oh my gosh! THANK YOU for posting this. I saw the box and thought it would make for fabulous Christmas gifts, so I was going to order one just now until I read your comment. I would have been sooooo mad. Ugh what a bummer. But you helped me so much, so thank you again!!

Once again, an amazing review on an incredible box! Mine hasn’t arrived yet and I’m waiting happily for it. This box is one of my new favorites and I’m debating canceling ones like Ipsy and Allure for more skincare-centered boxes like this (Which I subscribe to already) and See New (Which I’ve gotten special months of and loved).

Awesome review Naomi!
