LiveGlam Brush Club October 2020 Review

It looks like we have 4 different brushes to play with this month and they are all shadow blenders!

M505 Tapered Blender Brush (Natural) - Retail Value $8.00

This blender brush lands on the slightly more delicate side and the domed head makes it great for applying color as well as blending. I started my look with this brush because it seemed to grab up shadow really well. I also just realized that I started this look with a crease color whereas I usually start with a more all over lid shade, but it's been a weird week and it still totally worked.

M330 Blending Crease Brush (Natural) - Retail Value $8.00

Ahhh, here we go. I grabbed a matte mint shade with this brush and used it to cover my lower lid. The flexible nature of this brush kept the whole application really soft and line-free, but the brush still did a fine job of putting color down exactly where I needed it to be.

M573 Pointed Deluxe Blender Brush (Natural) - Retail Value $8.00

This was absolutely the firmest brush this month and it was ideal for applying more of a precision layer in my crease while still maintaining a soft and blended look.

M504 FLarge Pointed Blender Brush (Natural) - Retail Value $9.00

My final brush was the largest and the fluffiest of the bunch and was a great tool for just going over the entire lid look and blending out any lines or irregularities. I could also see this one making a great precision highlighter.

Verdict: This month's Brush Club has 4 blenders and while at first, I was worried I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them or really even care, the more I used them the more I saw their slight differences. Blending brushes always get a lot of use in my kit, so I am pleased to add 4 new ones to my collection.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Ahhhh….I do love makeup brushes. Especially eyeshadow brushes, so I would have been thrilled with this bag! When I first started using makeup, which wasn’t actually until I was in my 30’s I couldn’t tell the difference between blending brushes but like you said, the more you use them the more the differences become more apparent. I have really small eyes with hooded lids too, so I really noticed a difference in the quality of my eyeshadow when I learned more about the brushes. Anyway, it’s just fun and I love that you can use brushes however you want to!

You can still get them, you can choose in collections from previous months, and the month of November are also eye brushes.
