I've never been one for perfumes or fragrances, but I've really been enjoying this Clean Reserve Best Sellers Duo Fragrance Set in Solar Bloom and Rain. I love the sleek, minimalist design of the packaging and the rustic vibes the natural wood caps give. Each of the two scents are uniquely different while also complementary to each other. My favorite has to be the scent "Rain." It's a delightfully light aquatic scent with notes of bergamot, white flower, and vetiver, like a fresh dew after a summer rain. "Solar Bloom" is a warm floral scent with notes of bergamot, orange blossom, and coconut water that reminds you of a warm summer day with just a hint of the tropics, featuring coconut. Each of these scents are light and unoffensive enough for a workplace or social environment, in my opinion. You won't choke your coworkers on the elevator with this duo. Instead, you'll bring the best of nature into the office world with you.

I love the brand Kneipp. Everything they make is like an aromatherapy experience. This Kneipp Body Wash in Relaxing Lavender does not disappoint. Honestly, I'm usually not a fan of lavender scented products because the smell is always incredibly potent, as though the product is shouting "RELAX!" at you. But this body wash has a subtle, light scent with hints of lavender that truly transports you to a calm state. Kneipp's body wash is soap-free and has a gentle pH-balanced formula that creates a luxurious lather and cleansed my body, leaving my skin feeling soft and supple.

RevealU Face & Body Gold Gel, 3.2 oz - Retail Value $27.00
I'm so excited by this RevealU Face & Body Gold Gel moisturizer. The product has a light, luxurious gel texture but deeply hydrates like a thick cream. I've been using this on my feet every night before bed. I keep it right on my nightstand and I've noticed the rough, flaky skin on my heels softening. Formulated with 24k gold, and chemical-, alcohol-, and fragrance-free, this gold gel is universal and can be used on everything from your face to your body to your hair. If you like to hydrate your skin without the heavy or greasy after-feel of lotions, you should give this product a try. This gel moisturizer rejuvenates and detoxifies skin without clogging pores and is quickly absorbed, leaving behind zero sticky residue. Who wouldn't feel luxurious and revitalized after smearing gold on themselves?!

I have a lot of hair... A REAL lot of hair. So, finding a hair routine that works for me has always been a bit of trial and error. This LUS Brands Kinky Curly 3-Step System works in harmony. It includes a gentle moisturizing shampoo, an ultra-hydrating detangling conditioner, and an all-in-one styler, specially formulated for kinky and coily hair. Using the complete system took the guesswork out of mixing and matching products and left my curls feeling soft and healthy, beautifully enhancing my natural curl pattern. The shampoo had a very nice light lather that gently cleansed my hair and removed excess product buildup without leaving it feeling stripped and dry. The conditioner softened and moisturized my hair and made it easy to detangle. Lastly, applying the all-in-one styler created a beautiful uniform curl pattern without any stickiness, crunchiness, or flaky residue. This system makes me want to throw out my flatirons and forget about my blowdryer because my natural curls look shiny, bouncy, and incredible.

Kiss Colors' Quick Cover Natural Herbal Color Change Shampoo is enriched with plant and essential herbal extracts formulated to strengthen, detoxify, and promote hair growth while retaining hair color. The product is a quick, easy solution for 100% gray coverage, and suitable for natural or chemically-treated hair. I don't have any grays as of yet (phew!) but I'm actually incredibly interested to use this product because I have some red highlights in my hair left over from an impulsive summertime dye job. I'm planning to give this a try after my last Zoom meeting of the week to see how it works to cover the lighter portions of my hair.

I love Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Invisible+ and their Mighty Patch The Original, and as of just recently, their Rescue Balm. I love that Cocotique included this maskne bundle in this month's box, since maskne is a new 2020 struggle of my grown-up life. Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patches are simple: You see a zit, you stick a patch on that zit, and it shrinks the zit. These patches visibly suck out any gunk from your pimples. The Rescue Balm is the savior for those times when you get overly zealous and... POP! This balm is the first and only post-blemish solution out there and is designed to heal your skin in days, not weeks, and to reduce the look of after-blemish bumps. The Hero Cosmetics Maskne Bundle is a huge part of my everyday 2020 skincare routine.
PINK WALNUT BISTRO Baking Soda & Myrrh Tooth Powder, 1 Packet - Estimated Value $3.50 (Buy full-size 2 oz here for $7.50)
I have to be honest with you... When I first saw this Pink Walnut Bistro Baking Soda & Myrrh Tooth Powder, I thought it was a body scrub. I legit almost rubbed this toothpaste all over my body. Thankfully I decided to do a little more research before making such a grave mistake and discovered that this tooth powder is incredibly unique and effective. Pink Walnut Bistro's tooth powder naturally whitens your teeth, disinfects, and neutralizes mouth bacteria and odor. It is an all-natural tooth cleanser that creates a burst of minty freshness in your mouth. Formulated with peppermint, clove, cardamom, and coconut oil, this unique alternative to mainstream toothpaste prevents gingivitis and fortifies tooth enamel. This tooth powder left my mouth feeling fresh and my teeth clean. I'm excited to see the potential for teeth whitening after multiple uses.
The Verdict: I think October's Cocotique box had a diverse variety of beauty and body care products and an amazing retail value. I love the RevealU Face & Body Gold Gel and its incredibly moisturizing gel texture. The Reshma Beauty Turmeric Face Wash is another great product that thoroughly cleanses skin without leaving it dry and stripped. I also really enjoyed the LUS Beauty Kinky Curly 3-Step System and how it takes the guesswork out of finding a hair care regimen that works for my curls. I am intrigued and excited to try the Kiss Colors Quick Cover Natural Herbal Color Change Shampoo to hide my red highlights as they grow out. The Clean Reserve Best Sellers Duo Fragrance Set is the first time I've ever received scents from Cocotique and they brought their A-game with Solar Bloom and Rain. The incredibly light and natural fragrances are perfect for me and my lifestyle. The Pink Walnut Bistro's Baking Soda & Myrrh Tooth Powder is an intriguing and unique product that I wasn't expecting to enjoy as much as I did. The natural formula created an incredibly clean feeling in my mouth and I'm hoping to see some visible teeth whitening results after multiple uses. Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Maskne Bundle contained all products that I enjoy and I think was very appropriate for Cocotique to curate in this month's box. I love getting body wash in a subscription box, especially a high-quality product like the Kneipp Body Wash in Relaxing Lavender. The Reshma Beauty Rose Water Toner is light and refreshes skin with no sticky residue left behind. While the heavy rose scent isn't exactly for me, I have several people in my life who I know will really enjoy being regifted this product. With a retail value of $106.96 on a $25 box, Cocotique delivered a thoughtfully curated, diverse October box with a spectacular retail value.
