And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing September 2020 Review
This is the included invoice. It shows in detail the items selected for me and the brands, sizes, and cost of each piece. The total comes up to $229.75 after all the discounts if I opt to keep everything—which is a $103.25 total savings! That is like getting the Nine Britton bodysuit and Gilli black dress for free!
As always, I received this handy sheet with a note from this month’s stylist, Jennifer! Jen is a new stylist to me, but I am eager to see her selections. She certainly gave some fantastic styling tips as well!

Federica Tie Sleeve Knit Dress by Gilli, Size 2x — Retail Value $58
You can't go wrong with a short LBD, and this piece is no exception. This dress has ample stretch and is extremely comfortable to wear, but feels a bit more like a tunic to me since I felt like my tushie was at risk of being exposed. Nothing tights or leggings can't fix, though, am I right? The sleeve slits and ties at the wrists gives it a bit of a rock'n'roll vibe, so I opted to style the dress with my favorite gold western booties from a ShoeDazzle box I reviewed back in January and Bowie-inspired lightning bolt earrings for extra glam rock vibes. This dress would look gorgeous styled with patterned lace tights, chunky heeled Mary Jane shoes, and a faux fur coat for a glamorous cold-weather look! For a more casual/ go-to ensemble, simply pair with leggings, flats, and a jean jacket. You will look fantastic and be errand-ready as well!

Missandei Mesh Panel Knit Bodysuit by Nine Britton, Size 2x — Retail Value $44
I have a true love/hate relationship with bodysuits, I tell ya! In theory, I love them because you don't have to worry about tucking in your top. There are no issues with wrinkles or rumpled fabric, so that is a big positive! However, I have yet to master them when going to the bathroom. It is a challenge unbuttoning and buttoning them back up as well. Me in a public restroom trying to deal with one of these is downright comical! In the case of this particular one, my belly and butt made it impossible for me to snap it shut at the crotch. Even though it fits me well otherwise, I would probably need a 3x for it to fit my posterior properly. Regardless of the fit issue, I made it work by pairing the bodysuit with my favorite leopard wide-legged pants from Torrid and some pointy toe mules (to be featured in my upcoming ShoeDazzle review)! It was a shame this particular one didn't fit; I had envisioned it being styled with everything from my favorite faux leather mini skirt, high-waisted jeans, and a stretchy velvet pencil skirt. That mesh panel is my favorite detail on this piece too – it allows it to be subtle, yet sexy all at once! What a bummer! If you are in-between sizes too, I would suggest sizing up, especially if you have an ample dupa such as myself!

Danby Textured Pullover by Adyson Parker, Size 2x — Retail Value $64
Well, Jen nailed it with this sweater! I am absolutely smitten with this piece and decided to keep this one! It is the toastiest pumpkin color and it coincidentally matches my hair perfectly! The color is obviously on brand and perfect for autumn, but I also love the style and the slight mock turtleneck. This piece is incredibly comfortable to wear – the knit is wonderfully soft and stretchy! I simply tossed this over a pair of black leggings and the loafers from this month's box – such an easy, yet chic ensemble! This pullover would look amazing paired with a plaid skirt and loafers for an Audrey Horne from Twin Peaks look. If you want to toughen it up, just wear this piece with a black faux leather mini skirt, fishnets, and black pointy toe ankle booties.

Lindio Bow Loafer by Bandolino, Size 9.5 — Retail Value $79
I love a good loafer, especially one with a slight heel. I was expecting this pair to be ultra stiff due to the patent leather material, but I was mistaken. These were insanely comfortable thanks to the cushioned insoles. My feet are wide with a high instep, but these were not tight across the top of my feet at all. I legit felt like they were made for me.

I loved the oxblood/burgundy shade as well; they are such a rich color. My only grievance is the bow detail, it just does nothing for me and I'd love to remove it. If anything, it takes away from the style of these beauties. I loved styling these with the pullover that my stylist, Jennifer selected for me – the colors were so warm and beautiful. My photographer (aka my dad) said I resembled Velma from Scooby-Doo in this ensemble. I ain't mad about it.
These loafers certainly look gorgeous paired with the pullover, but I can also imagine these capping off a wrap dress with a long, cozy, cardigan, or paired with your favorite striped boat neck top, high waist skinny leg jeans, horn-rimmed glasses, and a chunky knit scarf.

Karen Straight Leg Zipper Pocket Pant, Size 2x— Retail Value $88
Whelp, sad to say this is the second month in a row where a piece didn't fit me to try it on for you, all. I didn't want to risk trying to get these bad boys all the way up because I heard a crunch noise and was afraid I'd damaged them with my ample thighs and posterior (don't worry, I didn't! Phew!). You all know when you take that roll of the dice on whether a piece of clothing will fit and you hear THAT noise. It makes your heart stop momentarily, I swear!
I was disappointed I couldn't model these for you all, especially since I thought both the burnt orange pullover or the mesh panel bodysuit would have looked stellar paired with these beautiful pants! The straight leg style of these pants is incredibly classic. I love the modern twist in this deep eggplant shade and the gorgeous, yet subtle geometric pattern. They have loads of stretch, but I would be concerned the waist is too low. Regardless of me not being able to try these on for you, I think these would be an amazing addition to a fall wardrobe. Picture these with a black turtleneck, faux leather biker jacket, and pointy-toed mules for a timelessly chic ensemble!
The Verdict: This month's Stitch Fix was filled with some perfect fall pieces from my new stylist, Jennifer. The pullover was my absolute favorite and versatile enough for the upcoming cold weather months that I had to make it mine! I loved the bodysuit and pants that Jennifer sent me, but neither fit me properly. The loafers and the dress were both cute, but I didn't like them enough for me to purchase them. I am going to sound like a broken record, but: to ensure you get the best Fix, be sure to provide feedback for each one you receive, provide your Instagram or Pinterest links for your stylist’s inspiration, and also play the game on their site that lets you pick your favorite pieces. I filled out my feedback for the month and also played the styling game as I frequently do, but I found out from a reader (surprisingly from my Dia & Co review) that you can also select items separately from your Fix. I went on and found pieces I liked in their shop and sent links to my stylist (fingers crossed for the October box, you guys!). I love that they have added awesome member features like this – so exciting! I don't know about you, but this has me that much more excited to receive my October Fix!
