Goddess Provisions "Color Therapy" September 2020 Review

The box comes with a short but informative booklet that outlines all of the items inside and discloses the theme!

Purple Agate - Listed Value $4.00

Purple has always been one of my favorite colors, so of course, I am loving this beautiful purple agate! Purple agate is the stone of meditation and spiritual transformation. The info card suggests holding this stone while meditating to help activate your upper chakra for spiritual development. Currently, I have this pretty stone next to my other crystals but am definitely looking forward to incorporating it into my meditation sessions.

Jessica Swift Gratitude Keychain - Retail Value $13.00

As you may already know from previous reviews of mine, pink is my FAVORITE color so I am absolutely feeling this keychain! This is a limited edition item meant to remind you that there are so many things to be grateful for! This item is also accompanied by a 25% off coupon at Jessica Swift. Double bonus!

Color for Good Color Therapy Bracelet - Retail Value $10.00

I am such a fan of Color for Good because of their social impact and activism! Each bracelet is made by a woman in Yucatan, Mexico, allowing them to be employed and empowered. I'm all for backing a company that's based on decent human kindness. Now let's get into this bracelet! I received a pink bracelet that emits intuition vibes. I found it very fitting because I think my woman's intuition is top-notch, and PINK! The bracelet is very comfortable and also waterproof which is a plus. This item included a 20% off coupon for use on the Colors of Good website.

Casual and chic!

Goddess Provisions Encourage Mint Pencil- Listed Value $5.00

Remember those pencils back in the day that would change color when used and you became the most popular kid in the class? This is pretty similar haha! The colors of this pencil are primary and makes jotting down notes or writing out that grocery list fun! Once the pencil is down to its last bit of life as a writing device, you can plant the bottom portion into the ground to carry this pencil to its beautiful afterlife - a pot of mint!

Hiouchi Jewels Mood Ring- Retail Value $33.00

This September box is really allowing me to live my best middle school life, and I am here for it! I was SO ecstatic when I saw this mood ring. Wearing mood rings back in the day with friends, and comparing our moods is one of my favorite childhood memories. This Hiouchi ring is beautifully made, silver plated, and is a true statement piece that can accompany any outfit. A color chart info card came with this item so that you can track your mood.  I've been getting a lot of "purple" days while wearing this, which was honestly pretty accurate.  All in all, though, mood rings are super entertaining! A 30% off coupon for Hiouchi Jewels accompanied this item.

The ring serves as a really nice statement piece!

Goddess Provisions Crystal Prism Suncatcher - Listed Value $22.00

This suncatcher is aesthetically pleasing even before hanging in a window. I love the chakra colors and the weight of the item. You can tell this is really well crafted. Going along with the theme of color therapy, this suncatcher's purpose is to turn sunlight beams into little rainbows in your space.

I was finally able to get a sunny day in very gray Pittsburgh, and it worked! I love the little cute rainbows. It's been a great addition to my plant room!

Goddess Provisions Violet Sunglasses - Listed Value $22.00

I love these very fashionable sunglasses! The violet hue is MARVELOUS! The spirit of Prince took over me and I felt like a whole superstar, ready to hop the stage and sing Purple Rain. 🙂 Violet light is known to help with relaxation.

Like...you really can't tell me anything with these shades on! Let me go throw on a faux fur coat with these glasses and show off. Haha!

Species By The Thousands Crystal Oracle Deck - Retail Value $25.00

This is my first experience with using an oracle deck and it's pretty fun! You are to intuitively pick a card out of the deck every day to take note of what tools will have you feeling balanced and empowered. It's really entertaining seeing what new tool you will pick for the new day. The cards are also sturdy. This item came with a 15% off coupon to use at Species by the Thousands!

BONUS: Healing with Color Mini-Course - Listed Value $33.00

Similar to past months, a bonus course is listed on the info card. This month is a 'Healing With Color Mini-Course' from Crystal Reiki Healer. The course teaches you easy ways to incorporate more color into your everyday life and is useful if you'd like to understand more about color therapy.

The Verdict: This month's Goddess Provisions focused on color therapy, and in the midst of a pandemic, the different variations of colors this box provided was much appreciated! You can probably tell by the pictures which item was my favorite: the violet sunglasses! If I see even a little beam of sunlight, I'm throwing these shades on, okay? I also am such a fan of the mood ring! It's so enjoyable checking to see if the color shown is really the mood I'm in!

This month, I received $134 worth of items, not including the digital course. For $33/month, Goddess Provisions consistently sends a valuable box each month.

Thank you! I wish the sun would come back out so I can wear them more. But Summer 2021, I’m coming for you 🙂

First, let me say that the last several months of this box have been winners for me. However, this box was not. The sun catcher is beautiful. I love it. But the rest of the items have no or little appeal for me. I have many pencils, key chains, and even prescription sunglasses. I’d rather have a bracelet with stones, but I’m sure the rope bracelet would appeal to some. I gave mine to my little niece along with the pencil and keychain. I thought the ring was a cute idea, but it doesn’t seem worth $33. I must be even-tempered because my color has not changed each time I’ve worn it. I like the cards, but they’re rather plain. The amethyst stone is sweet. Overall, this box was not a big hit with me. That said, I’ve been wowed by the other boxes this year. 🙂

Thank you and the suncatcher is really cool! I wish the colors showed larger on the walls, and that’s only because I love it so much!

Anne

What a great review! I loved this box as well, the prism is hanging in my home teaching space, and my students have enjoyed seeing the rainbows on the wall behind me.

Also, your nail polish is gorgeous, and I want to see a picture of your plant room! The sunnies look amazing on you as well. I was surprised by how sturdy they felt. I wasn’t too excited by that spoiler but in person I love them.

Bummer, I did not receive the pencil in my box 🤔😔. Even so it was great! The sunglasses make all the fall colors in the trees brilliant, like I’ve never seen before. It took me awhile to figure out others weren’t seeing the same. But the purple does a number on the fall colors, just awesome!!

Brittany Beasley

Oh no about the pencil! But I’m glad you still enjoyed the box! Going out now to test the sunglasses on this fall weather 🙂
