Our specimen this month is Black Tourmaline Included Quartz!

Black Tourmaline Included Quartz
FYI: This piece is about 4 inches tall.
You ever open a surprise and feel so over the top lucky to see what's inside? That was me this month. I LOVE towers and points and seeing this beautiful quartz flecked with bars of black tourmaline was almost too much. Quarts and tourmaline are two of my favorites ever. And seeing them both included in one magnificent specimen was pretty much magical. This piece was also really quite large compared to some of my more recent deliveries which is always a bonus. This point is extra special if you are into the meanings behind crystals too: black tourmaline is a protective stone and quartz is a magnifier of energy surrounding it. So these flecks of tourmaline surrounded by that magnifying quartz might basically be the hero I have been waiting for in 2020! And, hey, even if you don't buy into that sort of thing, its still stunning and a welcome piece in any collection.
Here is a shot of some of my favorite taller pieces! My new addition is in pretty great company.
Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well.
Good to Know: These are all about an inch long or a little shorter.

Bloodstone
I seem to get some of the least "bloody" pieces of bloodstone in this subscription. That's ok though. I love that green!

Spotted Sodalite
Sodalite is near and dear to my heart because one of my favorite watercolor paints is made from this beautiful mineral. If that blue looks familiar, its because this is one of the main mineral components in lapis lazuli!

Red Jasper
Red Jasper is probably my favorite shade of red. This is also considered a protective stone and is cherished by many for its color and cherished by some others for anger management.
Verdict: This month's Enchanted Crystal selection was my most favorite in recent memory. Seriously, I would have scooped that piece up at any crystal sale or show without a second thought. Although the local show has been canceled (THANKS 2020!) I am still thrilled I could add something like this to my collection.
