The Call of the Wild by Jack London - Listed Value $18
My husband loves this book and has read it many times. What a treat to receive such a beautiful special edition copy! The cover is so soft and beautiful, it is absolutely going to be displayed in our office once my husband is finished reading it again. For many years before meeting me, it was just my husband and his dog Rufus; they are still the best of friends. I think this book hits home for my husband because he saved Rufus from years of pretty horrible abuse by his previous owners. This classic takes us through the bond that grows between Buck, a Saint Bernard mix, and his new owner John Thornton. A great adventure that is perfect to read at so many different points in your life. My husband said he can't wait to read this as the weather starts to change to the fall!

Dress Socks by Sprezza - Retail Value $12.00
My husband loves collecting socks, but he can be pretty particular in terms of style and comfort. That being said, he always loves the socks he receives from Sprezza! They aren't his typical novelty print, but he needs more classic styles for various occasions. The fit is always perfect, the fabric is soft while still being breathable, and they are very comfortable. Each sock is made of a cotton, polyester, nylon, and spandex blend. The best part is that they will go with so many different outfits throughout all seasons for my husband!

I have said this before, but I really wish my husband wore a suit more often. He always looks so handsome all dressed up, but his job is very casual. Not to mention we aren't really going anywhere fancy right now so even summer and fall weddings aren't anything we have coming up. That being said, I decided to gift this beautiful clip to my Dad! He wears a suit often and loves adding a bit of flair to his looks so I knew he was going to love this! He was really excited when I gave this to him and liked the function of the clip instead of it just being one that sort of slips over your tie. He hasn't worn it just yet, but is excited to take it with him on his next business trip come the fall!

Sunglasses by Defined Men - Listed Value $70.00
These sunglasses are amazing! If I'm being honest, we fought over who was going to get to keep these. I thought they fit me really well, they go on like butter and actually sat on my nose properly, but my husband looks so darn handsome in them I let him take them in the end. They sort of have a Ray-Ban feel but with a round frame. They are classic and chic while feeling effortless. The case is a huge bonus as well so you can store them easily without risk of scratching or losing them. These were such a wonderful item to receive this month!
The Verdict: Culture Carton was a big hit this month! The first item I took out of the box was the sunglasses, and I was so impressed with the quality! There is nothing better than receiving a truly well-made pair of sunglasses in a subscription box. I honestly thought about keeping the glasses for myself, but decided to let my husband have them (this is his box after all), and I mean I can't say enough about the quality and fit. Again, they go on like butter! Sprezza socks are always a hit, my husband loves adding new socks to his collection so you can't really go wrong. I think he would like to see a fun print from time to time, but these are classic and will go with so many outfits. The tie clip was beautiful and always an accessory that is great to have on hand for special occasions, or in my Dad's case, just a regular day of the week at a meeting looking dapper. The special edition book was such a fun surprise, especially since this is one of my husband's favorite books. I wasn't able to find all of the items retail values, but the estimated value of this box is around $118 which is pretty amazing for the $53.27 cost. For me, I can't recommend this box enough if you are looking to gift your husband, brother, dad, or guy friend something special! The quality is there month after month, and the curation is always spot on, each box really tells a story. Simple, classic, interesting, and always on point!
