Kinder Beauty Box Natural Beauty August 2020 Box Review

Each box comes with an info card that has each product pictured with a short description and listed value, so you know what each product is worth.

Kinder Beauty is now sending out two box variations each month.

The first variation (which I received) contains:

  • Earth Harbor Marina Biome Brightening Ampoule
  • WAN Cosmetics Anti-Oxidation Sheet Mask
  • HAN Skincare Cosmetics Lip Gloss
  • 100% Pure Creamy Long Last Eyeliner in Royal
  • Zion Health Deep Clean Scalp & Hair Scrub

The second box contains:

  • 100% Pure Creamy Long Last Eyeliner in Dark Cacao
  • Eco Lips Vegan Lip+Cheek Tint in Pink
  • Delia Organics Dew Drops Serum
  • Delizioso Watermelon & CoQ10 Micro Sphere Polish
  • GLOV product – Look like a compact. Does anyone recognize this product?

Earth Harbor Marina Biome Brightening Ampoule, 1 oz - Retail Value $38

Wearing a mask has wreaked havoc on my complexion; my concerns range from dryness to oiliness to blemishes to blackheads, but my main concern has been the dullness of my skin. There is no glow to this face, so sad! I am usually wary about trying scented skincare due to my sensitive skin, but this Marina ampoule got so many great reviews from acne-prone customers that I decided to give it a whole-hearted try. The fragrance isn't too pungent, which was a good start. This product feels light on my skin and provided ample hydration when I mixed it with my regular moisturizer. I didn't notice a huge difference in vibrancy or clarity, but it did not break my skin out or cause irritation. I am going to have to experiment with this further (two days is not long enough), but I have high hopes for some change!

WAN Cosmetics Anti-Oxidation Sheet Mask, 1 mask - Retail Value $26

Sheet masks are always fun to try, especially expensive sheet masks! The rose smell hit me like a ton of bricks, though, when I ripped this envelope open. I am used to sheet masks being fragranced, but this one is on a different level. This thin fiber mask adhered to my face without any slipping or sliding around and stayed put for 10 minutes. When I removed the mask, my face felt soft, but I had a red ring around my lips and chin. Darn essential oils! I washed the remaining essence off my face, and I woke up without any redness (phew!).

Liplove Lip Gloss in Mahogany - Retail Value $12

Kinder Beauty's spoilers for this box variation previewed a lip gloss from HAN Skincare Cosmetics, but I ended up receiving this Liplove product. This kind of lip gloss is my favorite type of formula; it provides a thin, slick layer of sheer color, and it is great at providing a little moisture to the lips. The color is perfect for an everyday makeup look, and I can apply this in 2 seconds without a mirror; needless to say, this is a new favorite!

100% Pure Creamy Long Last Eyeliner in Royal - Retail Value $26

This is a very pricey eyeliner, especially for a pencil (in my opinion). My go-to, Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner, is $4 cheaper and it is a little easier to smudge with a wider variety of shades. This went on smoothly, no tugging or pulling at my eyelids, and it wore without smudging or fading for about 6 hours. I really love the soft navy color and will definitely use this as a travel eyeliner, but Urban Decay's is still my #1 go-to (bae).

Here are swatches of the Liplove Gloss in Mahogany and the 100% Pure Eyeliner in Royal.

Zion Health Deep Clean Scalp & Hair Scrub, 4 oz - Retail Value $19.99

It isn't very often that I use a shampoo whose fragrance lingers all day, but the smell of my hair has been wafting through the air all day long; I love it! The pear scent is sweet and fruity, and it is so pleasant, I would wear it as perfume. Hair scrubs are kind of hard to get the hang of; once you get used to working the product through your scalp first then dragging it through the lengths of your hair, you'll appreciate the feel of a squeaky clean scalp and moisturized strands. This formula made my hair feel heavy, so I eliminated the use of conditioner the second time around, and it had a much better feel.

Verdict: I really liked August's Kinder Beauty Box. They chose an awesome arrangement of different types of products, and I found some awesome new beauty products.  I can't stop sniffing my hair from this scrub, and the Liplove gloss became an instant favorite after one swipe. The value of August's box came to $121.99, fantastic value for a $25 box!

I received that same lip product from them last year. They must be offloading old products.

The GLOV product in the other box is a mirror. They have add ons you can add to your next box and you’re able to buy either of the boxes (along with a handful of other options). I really wanted the box you reviewed but received the other box, so I bought this one as an add on for next month.

This looks like a great box but my luck I would get the second variation, which I have no interest at all.
