Jewelry Subscription Box Review July 2020

Sparkling Halo Ring (Size 7)

I was pleasantly surprised to see this little beauty packaged in the small box this month! I absolutely adore colorless gemstones in my jewelry, so this sparkling halo ring was right up my alley. The hollow circle on top is encrusted with multiple colorless stones that extend out onto the band. Not only does it sparkle, but it also has little tiny heart cut-outs around the halo and on the band itself. I found it easy and comfortable to wear, bringing just enough glitz to my everyday looks. This size 7 piece is not marked to tell us the metal type, but it does seem to be well made. And while not exact, I found a very similar ring here for $75.00!

Laser-Cut Heart Necklace

At first glance, I admired the overall look of the necklace, but just wasn't sold on the laser-cut heart design, as it felt a little immature to me. I also wasn't sure how to feel about the purple stones that are floating around on the inside. After trying it on I discovered this chain is the perfect length: 16", falls right above most necklines, and closes with a traditional lobster clasp. I also found it is marked with the S925 stamp on the side. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that while wearing, it doesn't look quite as immature as I thought it might, and the purple was so slight that it just added a little sparkle. Purple is a color I don't own a lot of clothing in, so I wasn't sure what to pair it with, so I threw on an olive green button-down because it also coordinated with the earrings I received. I was quite satisfied with the results, and I think I will get more use out of this necklace than I originally thought!

Gemstone Earrings

The last item in this month's envelope was this super cute pair of gemstone earrings! Also marked with S925, these interesting fish hook dangles include a silver scroll with an opaque, olive green, and dark purple stone in varying sizes and shapes. I found the posts quite long, but once in, they were very comfortable and light. Because purple and green aren't colors I wear very often, I decided to pair these earrings with a long-sleeved button-up and found they really dressed up the look! We will find out in a week whether I will be showing these off via Zoom or in real life once we know how we are proceeding with school...

Verdict: Jewelry Subscription is a really fun subscription, and always surprising. This month came with 3 very different and interesting pieces. I loved the ring, and while the necklace wasn't something I would have picked out for myself, I think it will get more use than I originally thought. The earrings had a slight antique vibe which I'm all about, so I am happy to add them to my collection, and can't wait to start sprucing up my wardrobe again, as I really don't need to add accessories to my yoga pants! I can't wait to see what they send next month!

Looks nice!! I’m a little sore emotionally at the moment with jewerly or post. I had ordered $100.00 worth recently and it was delieverd else where. Never got it and lost a lot of money. Things like that kinda make me not wanna order anything.

I too would be emotionally sore! That is extremely frustrating. I hope wherever it was delivered to is honest and sends it back. Thanks for commenting Tiffany!

Pretty! I look at purple as a neutral, similar as to how I view indigo and olive. Can wear it with pretty much anything!
