Sorry to be random, but my box is lost I think I’m so disappointed. It has said en route to DHL center since 1:56 am on June 7th. Ipsy insists I wait a full 15 days before they can step in and that there’s more people who have reported the same thing with the error in tracking/shipping. I redeemed 1800 points for the mauve Huda Palette and I really like my add-ons and bag was decent as well so a little disappointed for sureee 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yeeeeea the same shipping issue is happening with mine and their reply seemed pretty generic and they stated my items had shipped. My glam bag finally arrived with the shipping center but an order I placed before that still says it hasn’t 🙄

Reply ButtonReply

Inge

Hopefully you will still get it. My April box was en route for like 20 days, before it suddenly came on early May. No movement in tracking at all then suddenly it updated to delivered after I received it.

Most of these companies that send these products send what we older chicks know as samples. One or two items might be a little more than a sample but never full size most are samples. why women fall for these tricks I will never know and don’t know why they don’t apply common sense. Do you really think these greedy companies out there are going to send us their best products? Full sizes? No way! One of them charges thirty bucks a month for these samples, samples that companies send to give out to customers to try but the stores today keep all the samples that are rightly ours. Itsy and Boxcharm and the others are just rip-offs and we women have always been the victims of believing everything these makeup companies including the big one like L’Oreal, Revlon, and so forth tell us. It’s bad enough that a man developed makeup, the first lipstick, and ran with it. Max Factor Make up for the stars of movies and celebrities and it wasn’t even for us it was for the movie stars of the day back then. It’s disgusting enough men have and still make billions on women’s insecurities, now we have women lying to women to selling for these greedy males. Ladies, look at your samples, look how much product is in these samples but now some women look at the names and think WOW, LOOK WHAT I GOT” Yeah you got ripped off and thanking them for it by the reviews I have read. I schooled my daughter and granddaughters to be careful with what they read and believe. There are tons of wrinkle fading creams and serums, right? Well, guess what no wrinkle cream, serum or oil is going to take any part of a wrinkle away, no way! These creams and serums are moisturizers which means they can keep your face soft and hydrated for a little while and when the face is hydrated it looks healthier. When the face is dry it shows up the wrinkles more. That is all those wrinkle products can do and yet they are allowed to lie and say in 7 or 14 days the wrinkles will be gone. What a straight-up lie that women by the show of the billions these companies make most women believe the lie. And continue to put billions in these greedy men and now greedy women’s pockets. Me, I am very careful what I believe online and give my money to. I worked too hard and too many years to let any greedy vendors rip off this neurotic New Yorker. I bought one box from all these companies to compare and weigh the product inside and the ingredients and they all more than not send the same thing with different names some name we never even heard of and that is not always a good thing ladies. They only procedures that take wrinkles, deep facial, and necklines away temp. is Botox and fillers and surgeries, not moisturizers or magic wrinkle remover like they claim cost up to hundreds of dollars. Even a company I used to love as Neutrogena and Almay lie about their so-called wrinkle removers. I am sure they will not put this up but if they do it’s because they know there is a sucker born every minute and when it comes to products claiming to make us look younger, here we go believing it, spending whatever it cost and these companies count on that. They are trained to know how we women think and boy do they got it right and we give our hard-earned cash or our husbands lol to them on a silver platter. Trust me they are schooled in knowing how to get over on us with their truths mixed with lies about their products. Don’t pay for these samples that should have been free and were meant to be free. Today in stores they even separate things that go together just to charge twice, ain’t that special? Greed again, lol. Good ole American Greed!

Sincerely

Esther Steisand

Well you are entitled to your opinion but I have taken care of my skin with serums, moisturizers, sunblock, and exfoliants and I’m in my 50’s and I don’t have wrinkles. My stepsister, who is 2 years older, and I spent the weekend at my parents and she looks 15 years older than I do.

Ipsy Glam Bag is $12 and is sample sizes and deluxe samples, and is clearly marketed as sample sizes. The Glam Bag Plus is $25 and is 5 full sized products. Sometimes they are brands I haven’t tried before but that’s the fun part. That averages $5 per product and includes shipping. I love my Ipsy GBP and I’ll keep fighting the wrinkles as long as I can. My grandmother passed away at 93 and had beautiful skin.

Early and often, ywp.

I started using anti-aging products in my 20s, because I was big on gift with purchase. So I had all this expensive skin care and figured I might as well use it.

I’m 58 and I can pass for early 40s.

I’m not sure what Dr. Minelli’s specialty is, but it sure isn’t dermatology.

Paige

I agree. i think the key is to incorporate facial care into your regimen early on, as preventative measures and it really makes a difference once you get older. obviously once you have deep deep wrinkles there isn’t much a cream itself can do, but if you have a consistent skin routine for many years, it pays off. i believe genetics do play a big part as well. If you can put in a little elbow grease and tlc to your skin now, why not.

Paige

I’m getting the Purlisse Blue Lotus Cleanser, Dr. Brandt Primer, Nacific eye cream, Honey Jarrett cushion foundation in what I hope will be a good shade for me and the Laura Gellar palette. The palette is the only item I really don’t think I will use but it’s the lowest value item in my box so it’s an overall win for me. And who knows I may like it better in person.

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

Purlisse’s Blue Lotus is a nice line.

Reply ButtonReply

Jean

Wow, GREAT bag!

Reply ButtonReply

Paige

It’s my first and I’m pretty excited about it! I didn’t do the choice so I wonder if they follow your profile better if you don’t pick anything.

Joan

My bag wasn’t too bad this month. I was surprised the value was under the 125 dollars. But anyway I will received Dr Brandt primer. I don’t use much primer in the heat but will use later on. A brown Araceli liquid eyeliner okay I will use once in a while, Laura Gellar palette, I really didn’t need another one but will check it out not for me save for my daughter. Jay Jun set of 6 sheet masks. I do love using them, the avocados one my husband said he will use since I’m allergic. My choice Tula sunscreen, I use a lot of sunscreen so this is a good choice for me.
6 sample add ons Soroci eye cream
Celefit cleansing oil foam, Doucce mascara. Favorite brand, marc Anthony leave in conditioner’s, pear and pineapple sheet masks, suntique sunscreen. Can’t wait to try these, I do have the eye cream and mascara and really like them. I’m happy with mine.

I got almost the exact same thing except I got the acne treatment. My retail value was only $106 so I contacted Ipsy. They’re giving me points which I’m okay with, but I’d rather have the product ship with my bag this month and not next month.

Reply ButtonReply

Marie

I got the same thing, Emily. I thought the value seemed a little low. Thanks for this. I’ll contact Ipsy.

If anyone wants to get rid of their GBP and/or GBU bag this month, I would be super interested. My daughter loves the bags and the positive images of the women displayed in their bathing suits. She says they also look kind of like the causebox design from their box we recently received. She wants use them all on a bookshelf in her dorm room next to her Women in Science Lego Set. She is so much more creative than her mother, lol…If interested in letting go of either bag or both would be great please reach out phatpatti82 at Gmail dot com

Laura

I wish FFF and Ipsy would do what Popsugar used to do and create pre-made mystery type boxes for low prices every so often. Create the darn box and sell it …or create a pick 6 items box out of their old backstock list for sample or full size options.

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

People buy their mystery bags for MORE $$ than the original subscriptions cost, so I doubt they’ll ever do this.

Most of their bundles in Ipsy Shopper & in the flash sales are made up of old stock, though, & sometimes there are really good deals.

Reply ButtonReply

Tara

And this would be why I am glad I skipped this month.

Reply ButtonReply

Lola

I just realized that my bag this month has the lowest value of any I’ve gotten so far, and I’ve been getting GBP since the beginning. The value is just over $100. Don’t they guarantee at least $125? It’s sad- feels like I’m spending more and more on add-ons to make a great bag.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

Just an FYI: Because I received eyeliner in both my bags this month, I contacted Ipsy to see what was up because I’m opted out of eyeliner. I was told they aren’t doing opt-outs anymore, but hoping to have a feature in our accounts in the future that allows us to opt out of products.

This may make or break the choice to stay subbed for some people. Guess that’s why a lot of us got products we thought we were opted out of.

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

Since I’m out of work now, I might pause Ipsy because of this.

Reply ButtonReply

MzBev

This is to Marina – but I couldn’t reply directly to her comment. If you don’t want any make up, Ipsy isn’t for you! (Most beauty subs aren’t for you) Check Beautyfix – they are more skincare.
Even Allure sends out some make up items.

Marina

It was my first Ipsy bag and I explicitly said NO to all make-up except for skincare. And what do I see in my bag? An eyeliner and a sponge! Basically, two throw-away products for me. Very disappointed and canceled the entire thing. Now thinking about the Allure Beauty Box- are they any better? Are there preferences that you can adjust?

Nicole

If they would just follow our profiles, we wouldn’t need opt outs.🤦 Thank you for this info! It won’t break my choice to stay, but it will heavily influence my choice to skip certain months. The spoilers will have to heavily lean towards products I’m extremely interested in for me to keep that month active.💁

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I’m the same, I won’t cancel because one or two items that I get I can always give to friends family. But if it’s a constant thing and I’m getting 3 or more items I won’t use, I might have to change my mind. 🤷‍♀️This month I only got one item (the dreaded liquid eyeliner) that I won’t use, but I can always pass it along to a friend. Not a big deal, but definitely would have had another item. At least I didn’t get repeat items, so could have been worse I guess.

Lesly

I’m getting:

Haus labs lip gloss in ethereal (my pick)
Tula sunscreen gel
Ciate eyeshadow in Wicked
Bliss cleansing stick
Nacific eye cream

Super excited for this month! Wanted the gloss, Tula and Ciate during choice – glad I was able to get all three!

Reply ButtonReply

Errmmm

That’s a great bag! I wish I didn’t pause my Plus for May, I would have liked to try the Tula sunscreen.

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany Adair

We are bag twins! Exact replicate. I was gonna get the same add ons too but when I went back to the page it was sold out. Enjoy

Reply ButtonReply

Abby

This is my exact box, too!! I’m not thrilled to death about the eyeshadow (hooded eyes and glittery shadow doesn’t work for me!) but I love the rest of it…even though I was reeeealllly hoping for the Honey Jarret. 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Tammy

I was on the fence with my choice… I wanted the Tula sunscreen and the Haus… I picked the Haus and got the Tula too, so I’m happy with both. I got:

Nacific – Fresh Herb Eye Cream ( I”m 52 so will try any eye cream)

Ciate London – Marbled Metal Eyeshadows in Wicked (I would have preferred the champagne color)

Tula – Sunscreen (love Tula so cant wait to try)

Bliss – Grommage Cleansing Stick (will try)

Haus Laboratories – Ethereal (my choice)

I get all three tiers and skipped Ultimate for the first time and have no FOMO… mostly repeats for me)

Overall I’m not disappointed in my bag because most of the other options I have already received in past bags. For the price, I’ve gotten many products that I never would have tried and many that have become my faves (or my kids have liked). For the most part, IPSY has been good to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Mary GT

I am getting this exact variation, and am very happy with it! Wicked was the Ciate color I wanted most but the rose gold looks pretty too so I added that on. Can’t wait to try the eyeshadows, lip gloss, eye cream, and sunscreen! Not as excited about the gommage stick, since my skin does not like physical exfoliators, but I’ll give it a try.

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany Adair

My bag is better than I thought it was gonna be!
Tula sunscreen
Ciate entwine
Bliss gommage stick
Haus lab in corset
Nacific eye cream
Add ons were meh, only things that looked cool kate Sommerville serum and Sunday riley acne mask. I’m saving my money for other things this month.

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

Love my bag!

Ciate shadow in Entwine
Hey Honey Peel Off Mask
Dr. Brandt primer
Purlisse Aqua Balm
Flesh highlighting powder
I added the Purlisse moisturizing primer- one of my favorite products, and I just ran out.

Reply ButtonReply

Amie

I really wanted the Ciate mascara! If anyone doesn’t want theirs or can get it as an add -on , let me know!

Reply ButtonReply

Angel

I have one from last month! Not sure if you are looking to trade or purchase. Feel free to email me at angelina.kern at outlook dot com

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

I don’t want mine

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany Adair

I’ll take it off your hands. We can trade or work something out.

Nicole

Well I got a different kind in the ultimate bag.

Jennifer

You can have mine I didn’t want it! I wanted the honey jarret😔

Reply ButtonReply

Amie

Well my bag is crap. Only like one thing, the rest is useless. I went to the add ons and none of the good ones you show above are even available to me! I left the page and now can’t even access add ons at all. When will I wake up and stop throwing my money away on boxes I’m hopeful will someday give me what I want instead of just using the money to actually buy what I want….*sigh*

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Hate both bags. Im getting a highlighter in both, even though I’m opted out of them. Everything I’m getting I’m either opted out of, or marked as rarely.

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

Ipsy isn’t doing opt outs any longer.

Ashley

Would anyone be willing to sell me their Haus Laboratories lipgloss in Entranced or the Shaina B Miami brush set? Thanks!

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

My Plus is identical to MSA. I chose the Nacific.

Reply ButtonReply

Marie

I got the same bag except I got a blemish control instead of eye cream. Very disappointing bag.

Reply ButtonReply

Debbi

I am not super thrilled with my bag this month since I got a bunch of repeats. I hate to be negative, since I was super excited to add on items from the spoilers if I didn’t get them, and low and behold they weren’t offered in add ons.
Again this month I received an unknown brand of black eyeliner & more sheet masks. (Both of which I’m opened out of). Also a Dr Brandt luminous Primer – Which I have received before from not only ipsy but also Boxy and FFF. They must have an overstock of this stuff they’re trying to get rid of. Be only 2 decent products in the bag word the Tula Sun screen and the Laura Geller palette. I wasn’t impressed with the add ons and read poor reviews about the flesh high lighter so I didn’t want to chance it. It honestly may be time for me to cancel because I am so underwhelmed lately with most of these boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristen trepiccione

The flesh products are all on clearance for less on Ulta’s website.. I’m not sure about the highlighter.. but the palettes are $9 each, and stick products are $4/5.. I’d hate to see anyone pay too much for that stuff ok add ons

Reply ButtonReply

Tammy

Just received May …How do I receive and preview my future bags on time like everyone else in United States?
As of this very moment cant EVEN access addon?!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

Use the Ipsy app.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Oh! A bunch of left overs, how exciting.😐

Reply ButtonReply

Criss

I never complain about Ipsy but I am shocked at the amount of leftovers this month!

Reply ButtonReply

Kyxo

– Dr. Brandt Primer
– Hey Honey Mask (least appealing item to me)
– Purlisse Aqua Balm
– Flesh Highlighting powder in “Certain”
– Ciate London shadow in “Entwine”

Really wanted to try the Honey Jaret cushion like a lot of others also did! 😩

If you got the Araceli liner I just want to say it really is an amazing liner! I use liquid liner everyday almost, and it creates amazing winged liner and it allows for a lot of control. That’s just my opinion, I know many people are unhappy to get the liquid black liners, but I love them

Reply ButtonReply

Dani

That’s good to know about the eyeliner because I was pretty bummed to see yet another one in my bag. I feel like I get an eyeliner in my Plus or regular bag every single month.

I’m fairly content with my bag but I really really really wanted to try the HJ compact foundation, the Bliss stick, and that darn Thrive lipstick topper. They’ve had those toppers in a few bags and I never get one nor are they ever available as add-ons. Of course the other two items I mentioned were also not for sale. And I did get a repeat item that I plan to contact Ipsy Care about. The Purlisse cleansing Milk. If I liked it I wouldn’t mind but aside from the fact I already have one or two full size and a few sample sizes of it, this past year I started having premature menopause symptoms (I’m 44) and my skin went from combo/mostly oily to dry, flaky and super sensitive. No matter how gentle they claim to be the only cleansers that don’t end up irritating me once my face dries are cleansing balms and oils. And some micellar waters.

At least I got the mascara I wanted to try because of the brush (Beauty For Real), the lighter HS liquid lipstick and the Ciate purple metal shadow I picked. Unfortunately I got that set of sheet masks. I love regular masks, so much so that I bought the Foreo mask gadget at Sephora’s big Memorial Day sale, but I can’t stand sheet masks. I find them to be really annoying and messy to put on. And they never fit right. But overall I definitely think my bag was worth $25. The highly rated Ciate eyeshadow alone costs $22 and I would never have paid that much to do so.

Reply ButtonReply

Errmmm

Came here to second the Araceli eyeliner – it’s amazing and I won’t use any other kind. I have back-ups in brown and black because I never want to run out of it!

Reply ButtonReply

Amie

I have the same bag as you! Glad to hear you like the eyeliner as I’ve never heard of it. Don’t want any of the other things except the Ciate. Shame.

disneyjoy1970

I am very happy with four out of five products, in my Glam Bag Plus. I’m receiving: Dr. Brandt Pores No More Primer, Laura Geller palette in Central Park, Ciate London mascara, Tula Gel Moisturizer and Araceli eye liner. The only item that makes me super disappointed is the eye liner. I do not use eye liner and I am officially opted out of eye liners. I received an eye liner in Feb., March and April- as well. I have written to ipsycare numerous times and have been told the same thing “This assortment of items best fits my profile”. That’s BS. Essentially, I am paying for five items and getting four that actually follow my profile. I share the items I receive, which I do not use. However, that’s not the point. Anyway, the rest of the assortment is really nice.

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

I think you’re lucky to get 4 out of 5!

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

I agree! If I like at least 3 out of 5 products from my bag I consider it a good month. And if it’s only two but their value far exceeds the $25 I’m disappointed but not that upset. Luckily I have only disliked all or all but one item once or twice in the years I’ve been subscribed.

Cheryl

I received 3 of the same items as you: the Laura Geller palette, Ciate London mascara, and the Araceli eyeliner. My other items are the Juice Beauty serum and the Haus Laboratories gloss in ethereal (my choice). I’m opted out of eyeliners as well, but continue to receive them, imho, more times than I think I should for the offered “opt out” and I receive the same replies about “best match” when I email. I’ve received more mascaras and serums than I can use, and generally, keep receiving the same kind of products (down to the assortment) month after month. I’m not going to give in and do add-ons anymore because I feel like that’s just a reward for giving me a poor/repetitive bag selection. I think I’m going to be taking a break at the least.

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

Ipsy is no longer doing opt outs.

Ashley.C

Did anyone get the Wander Beauty Pallet?
It is one of my favorites, I use it almost daily along with the Wander Rush pallet. I think that the brand makes some great eyeshadows! I missed out on the ‘Fling’ pallet when but I would love to get that one!

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

I’m ashamed to admit I actually own three of the Wander palettes thanks to sub boxes but with the easily over 50 unused palettes sitting in my stash (or perhaps hoard is the more appropriate term) I haven’t tried any of them. But you and Nicole have inspired me to give them a shot. Or at least one of them. LOL.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

I have the Wander palette and I also really like it. I’ve been very happy with their eyeshadows, you don’t have to finesse them at all to get them to work. Don’t know about you, but I hate eyeshadow that makes me work for it.😂😉
