Geek Fuel May 2020 Review

Included was an info card with details about each item.

Included was a Geek Fuel sticker!

Pac-Man Tee

This tee is delightfully retro! It reminds me of spending way too much time at the arcade area of the neighborhood skating rink as a kid, trying to get my name on the board. That never happened, but the memories are great, and this tee is the perfect bit of nostalgia!

Venom Figure

I am not the biggest Venom fan, though the Tom Hardy effect does help! Regardless, this figure is really very cool and the posing is super dynamic. I like the bright tongue colors in contrast to the black suit and subdued wall.

James Bond 007 GoldenEye Color Changing Mug

Finally, our last item is a color-changing 007 mug! When it is empty, it looks like a boring black mug, but add warm liquid and the secret health meter design appears!

Verdict: This Geek Fuel delivery felt totally different than others, but that is likely because it is now monthly. I think I actually preferred the quarterly style, since it contained more items and more fandoms, but I am willing to give this new format a few months to warm up!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You'll likely start with the June box.

Value Breakdown: At $29 per month + free shipping, each of these 3 items has an average cost of $9.67 (I did not include the sticker in this breakdown).

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Love that Pac-Man T-shirt! I am always looking for geeky boxes for my BIL (and I like the products too; sometimes I will split boxes up and keep some goodies!). Thanks for reviewing.

Yessy

Thanks for the review. I like geek fuel but I think I have to agree with the quarterly be way better choice since there’s tons to look forward to. I was tempted to try the monthly box but sadly I rather not because this isn’t giving me a theme box which I would expect from a geeky box. To me it’s too random and not exciting. I will try another nerdy box.
