Ecocentric Mom May 2020 Review

Calm Spray by Little Luminary, 4.5 fl oz - Retail Value $14.99

Whether used on your nether regions or your baby's, this calendula spray is designed to soothe, cleanse, and hydrate. Perfect for diaper rashes! It's free of sulfates and parabens and phthalates, and its ingredients feature calendula, poppy seed oil, and coconut water powder. When I used this, it definitely felt fresh and cleansing. This would be especially soothing and cooling during your period or immediately post-partum.

Ecocentric Moms Box May 2020 teething tablets

Hyland's Oral Pain Relief, 125 tablets - Retail Value $9.49

With a 7 month old, I know I'll definitely use these! My little girl doesn't have any teeth yet but I know this will be helpful when they start cutting through.

All Good Goop Handcrafted Balm, 2 oz - Retail Value $13.99

I feel like a general, multi-use balm is a common inclusion in any eco-centric box. Balms like this one are helpful for extra dry spots on skin, and soothing and healing scrapes, burns, bites, diaper rashes, cuts, and more. They're nice to keep on hand. I tried this balm on my elbows (which always tend to be a little dry and rough) and I noticed a difference! Both immediately and even after the whole day, my elbows felt softer and more smooth.

Moisturizing Face and Lip Butter Coffee Scrub from CaribBrew, 4 oz - Retail Value $15

This scrub is made with Haitian coffee, sugar, shea butter, and essential oils. It's made for your lips and face, and it felt very hydrating - I could really feel the shea butter in it. The oils and coffee smell great, too. I was surprised the label said to use bi-weekly because all of the ingredients are clean and gentle. I think this would be great any time you want a physical exfoliant!

Mox Fidget Ball - Retail Value $5.99

This fidget ball is made with food-grade silicone and has a design to make it look like a smiley face (and it's clever that the info/tag for the product is stuck in its mouth like a tongue!). It's made to be squeezable and the "mouth" will open wide to pick up various smaller items that you can hold inside and rattle around. My older children think it's cool but my 7 month old just uses it as a teething toy.

Verdict: This month's Ecocentric Mom felt pretty self-care focused to me, with the exception of the silicone ball. I know the teething tablets will come in handy, too. I know I'll get good use out of all the items this month. The total retail value of these items is $59.46 which is pretty good for a $36.99 (plus free shipping) box.
