FaceTory 7 Lux March 2020 Review

Now on to the masks!

Artemisia Refreshing Relief Mask - Retail Value $3.00

This is part of FaceTory's new Artemesia line and I like everything I have tried from this launch so far. The mask itself is a pale light green and feels a little minty on the face. This is one of those masks that really reduce my natural redness, so it is a winner in my book. The serum was light and clear, and the majority of it absorbed into my skin easily.

BlingPop Aloe Moisturizing & Brightening Mask - Retail Value $2.00

This was one of the lighter masks in my delivery this month and it was perfect for applying after a little sunshine. With so much time at home, I am finding myself outside more and more, and with the arrival of spring, that means some sun! I always wear a facial SPF, but the aloe content in this mask was perfect for soothing any immediate redness after I went back inside. This mask left virtually zero serum behind and felt very refreshing on my skin!

Chereskin Wrinkle Mask, Peptide - Retail Value $2.00

As someone in their 30s, "wrinkle" and "anti-aging" are buzzwords for the products I choose to include in my regular routine. I love that a mask for aging skin was included, but even if aging isn't a concern for you yet, your skin will love this super moisturizing mask. Peptides help your skin maintain its elasticity and firmness, so everyone can benefit! This mask fit well and had a slightly creamy feel and scent.

Lebelage Pearl Solution Mask Pack - Retail Value $2.00

This mask had a serum that felt more like a clear jelly than a serum! Pearl extract has been used in the beauty industry for so long to add radiance to skin, and my skin does indeed always look brighter after using a pearly product like this. There was so much serum that I had plenty left over for my neck.

Jeju:en This Is My Sheet Green Tea Calming Mask - Retail Value $4.00

I adore anything with green tea extract. My skin seems to love it too, rewarding me with a brighter all-over appearance. I am guessing that is because green tea has so many antioxidants! This sheet also has rice ferment, which balances out the good bacteria in your skin barrier. This mask fit really well and left my face soft and glowy!

Logically, Skin Aquatide Soothing & Lifting Mask - Retail Value $5.00

This was my fave mask this month! The creamy serum felt so good on my face and it had a delightfully perfumy floral scent. The mask fit my face perfectly and the Aquatide 5000 peptides certainly did their job: my face was downright radiant when I removed this and so hydrated. This is a winner!

Coscodi Hydra Soother Cellulose Mask - Retail Value $3.00

Our last mask was literally drowning in its own serum, which isn't a bad thing: just means more is leftover for your neck and chest! The clear serum was very slippery and runny, but the light clean scent won me over. The mask was very thin and fit well. My skin mostly felt super hydrated after this treatment.

This month arrived with a full-size bonus product too!

SanDaWha Aqua Peeling Gel, 100 g - Retail Value $24.00

This is one of those peely types of masks that create little pills of dead skin and product when you moisturize them into your face. They aren't my fave, but they are cool. I am just never convinced much dead skin actually comes off my face! At the very least, the rice bran water makes for an excellent toning step and the pills/residue you remove make for some fun.

Verdict: FaceTory had some really great masks this month! I always love an excuse to pamper my skin, and getting 7 really great masks a month certainly provides me that luxury. I love that they are sending large bonus items too!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Does anyone have spoilers for the May “welcome box”? The Facetiry website says that new subscribers will receive the welcome box instead of the regular May 7 Lux box.

I was very disappointed in the March box. I signed up to receive premium masks, not cheap drugstore masks, and several of these masks were also in the cheaper 4-Ever fresh selection (which is cheaper for a reason). They seem to be sacrificing the quality of their masks so they can include pricier skincare products, but honestly I don”t need more ransom skincare. Also, my package came with a printout instead of the glossy insert. April looks better so I’m hopeful it was a fluke. I have an annual subscription and have not liked the recent changes at all… I wonder if other long-term subscribers feels the same.
