March 2020 Dapper Dog Box Review

Each box comes with two info cards, one listing the featured item of the month—the Dapper Dog monthly bandana—and the other has some social media info as well as a little more info about the charitable nature of this box.

Murray is ready to dig in!

Farm Dog Bandana

Every month Dapper Dog includes a festive double-sided bandana. This style is simple to tie and fits around my dog's neck perfectly. I love this month's cute, yet dapper designs. This month's theme is "The Legendairy Farm Box," featuring two plaid patterns.

These patterns aren't very exciting to me, but of course, Murray can pull them off. Here is the bandana modeled on my BFF (he is my 8-year-old Corgi-Maltese); the medium size fits him to a T!

Petlou Carrot 8" Plush

This simple squeaker is just what Murray needed to interrupt our Tiger King binge, haha! Once he finds a toy he likes, he doesn't let go. This carrot has taken the tour of every one of Mur's favorite spots in the house.

Murray is a little old fashioned when it comes to toys, so a stuffed toy brings a lot of excitement into his life. The carrot is cute and festive for Spring.

Prized Pet Coconut Carob Cookies, 8 oz - Retail Value $10.99

In all of Murray's 8 years, I don't think he's ever had the pleasure of tasting coconut; well, these treats passed the Murray taste test! They are very crumbly, and Murray is not skilled at picking up any leftover crumbs.

Prized Pet treats are made in the US, and this particular treat, although not protein-heavy, is still full of healthy ingredients like flaxseed, coconut, and honey.

Petlou EZ Squeaky Lamb Ball

This cute little fuzzy lamb is the perfect size for Murray. It squeaks when you squeeze it, and it has a great bounce to it. He could care less about regular tennis balls, but he finds this furry, squeaky ball exciting.

Murray is enjoying daily games of fetch during our quarantine.

Loving Pets Duck Bites Recipe, 5 oz

Mur loved getting two types of soft treats this month; this duck flavored treat had him begging for more! I wasn't thrilled to see that duck wasn't the first ingredient, in fact, these star-shaped treats only have duck and turkey powder in them... I am honestly not sure what to think of that, and I'll have to do more research on "duck powder" in dog treats. These are made in the USA and are grain-, wheat-, and corn-free.

He got a little handsy when I opened this treat bag.

Verdict: Dapper Dog's March box was a hit with the pooch. He loved his soft treats and found a new favorite toy, but neither of us were too excited about this month's bandana patterns. I couldn't find the prices of a few items from this month's box, but the value of the items collectively is usually around what you would pay for the subscription. For us, it is worth the cost to have treats and toys delivered each month; it is also fun to see Murray get excited about unboxing his monthly Dapper Dog.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.
