March 2020 Petit Vour "Fit & Fab" Box Review

bkr 500 ml Glass Water Bottle in Ivy - Retail Value $35

When I am living my best life I am going to the gym regularly, and that means always having a water bottle handy. This isn’t my first BKR water bottle, and I like the pretty teal green shade of the “Ivy.” It’s rather annoying that the mouth of the bottle isn’t wide enough for regular ice cubes to fit through (I like my water cold!), but the silicone covering over the glass bottle is sturdy and I don’t worry about this breaking when I have it stored in my purse or gym bag.

Box Naturals Cucumber + Witch Hazel Cleansing Towelettes, 2 ct - Estimated Value $3 (Buy one for $1.50)

I love having wipes like these handy- they're so useful when you're on the go and need to wipe off makeup or refresh some sweaty skin. These wipes were gentle, and I appreciate that the first three ingredients are water, witch hazel, and cucumber extract.

Eir Active Face Wash, 40 ml - Retail Value $20

I was a little worried when I saw that this had coconut oil in the ingredients (coconut oil doesn't get along well with my skin), but since this is a cleanser gets washed off I decided to still give it a chance. I liked it! It has a foam texture and is a light muddy brown, but I did feel like this cleansed away sweat and grime after working out.

Eir Tough Love, 0.5 oz - Retail Value $12

I love having salves like these tucked into purse pockets and various counters on my apartment- the easier it is for me to access, the more likely I will use it. This balm is made with coconut oil, shea butter, neem oil, and lavender, and it was like a soothing hug when I applied this to my dry lips and ragged cuticles.

Kooshoo Black Skinny Headband - Retail Value $20

This is an elastic cotton headband that was woven in North America, and it has an adjustable knot that allows this headband to be a one-size-fits-all deal. I hadn't used a headband like this before where you wrap it around your head twice, but I do think this made it more secure so it didn't slip while I was wearing it.

Moon Juice Power Dust Sachets, 12 ct - Retail Value $35

I really liked these supplements, which is not something I say easily. I am a super harsh critic of supplements and honestly would rather go without than suffer through a funky taste. This was recommended to drink with citrus (though you can mix it with just about everything) so I mixed it with a Bolthouse Farms pre-made mango smoothie. It did add a slightly earthy flavor, but the difference was very small and I didn’t mind it. I always feel like I could use more energy, so I’m honestly considering buying the full-size jar rather than the full-size single-serve packets to take this adaptogenic blend of Cordyceps, Ginseng, Eleuthero, Astragalus, Ashwagandha, Rhodiola & Schisandra more frequently.

Suntegrity Impeccable Skin Face Sunscreen Tinted SPF 30, 0.25 oz -  Retail Value $6

This is a tinted sunscreen and when you purchase the box you have the option to select the shade that matches your skin the best. I went with the shade Ivory (the lightest one), and though this took a bit more effort to rub in thanks to the thick viscosity, once I was done applying it my face really had the "my skin but better" vibe.

Verdict: I think this was a great box full of good-quality products, and the fact that all of the items are vegan and cruelty-free is the icing on the cake. I have been making more of an effort to get in the habit of going to the gym regularly, so all of these items were able to immediately be put to use to help me get more ~healthy~ vibes. My favorite item in the box was definitely the Power Dust, so this box definitely meets the personal value for me. Retail value-wise, everything in this box adds up to $131, which is more than double the cost of the box.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you order today? Yes, as of publication, this box is still available!

Value Breakdown: At $50 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Eir Face Wash: $7.63
  • Eir Tough Love: $4.58

Anyone noticed how horrible PV customer support is right now?? No responses at all.

Moon Juice is nothing, a secretive company endorsed by Goop. I recommend anyone interested to check out the podcast called “The Dream”. The second season is all about the health industry, and they specifically debunk Moon Juice. Now every time I see it at a smoothie shop or something I roll my eyes so hard.
