I'm In Love Rose-Heart Deep Moisturizing Pink Mask – Listed Value $4.99

This is a 2 step mask that is gentle on your skin while providing it with extra hydration, perfect for the winter. It is made with ginseng, hawthorn, and allantoin, plus vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B9, C, & E. The mask was extra hydrating and had single-use cotton microfiber slips. It had a light rose scent that was calming and cool on the skin. The serum had a stronger rose scent that I found to be a bit overwhelming, but it provided my skin with some extreme hydration that I really needed. I used this mask and serum at bedtime, and I was left with firm and glowing skin that was still glowing when I woke up in the morning!

Coffee Face Scrub by ZSkin Cosmetics, 2 fl oz – Retail Value $33

I have never used a coffee scrub before so I was really excited to give this brand a try! It says that it is made with 100% organic coffee, and is gentle on your skin while removing dark marks, breakouts, wrinkles, and fine lines. The instructions say that it is safe to use every day, but you can always go to every other if you notice any irritation. Use with water to gently rub into your skin and then rinse. I was surprised to see that this looked more like a moisturizer when I started, with a small number of coffee grounds throughout. As I started rubbing into my skin, I started to see a bit more coffee, but again, it really felt more like a moisturizer. Maybe I didn't use enough? I can't say that I noticed a huge exfoliation after using a few days in a row; I am super dry right now so I really thought I would feel a difference quickly. I do appreciate that this is a bit more gentle on your skin, making it safe to use daily but to add another step to my routine I have to really see a difference in a product. I am going to keep using this, for now, to see if I notice a difference, but as of right now I can't say that I am in love.

Champagne Charcoal Body Scrub by Manna Kadar Beauty, 7.4 oz – Estimated Value $9.62 (Buy 18.34 oz for $24)

I feel like a broken record here, but my skin is naturally very dry, especially in the winter months. Body scrubs are such a luxurious way to exfoliate my skin and make me feel extra fancy! This scrub has charcoal as an ingredient to remove dirt and build-up, leaving your skin feeling silky smooth. Plus, it smells like a bottle of sweet champagne so that's a huge bonus! All you have to do is layer the scrub on your body, rub/massage to exfoliate, and then rinse. I am keeping this in my shower to use when my skin needs a little extra love, or when I have an extra minute which is rare, and so that my husband can use it too! Honestly, this worked instantly on my skin making me feel so clean and moisturized! I didn't even feel the need to apply moisturizer after getting out of the shower, my skin was like butter!

Exclusive Luxury Shower Cap by SugarBearHair – Listed Value $15

I don't wash my hair every day so shower caps are necessary! This one is so cute! It is made with a waterproof outside and terry lining that works to absorb damaging humidity or steam while keeping your hair free of tangles. I have very thick and long hair so this cap was a bit tight on me once I got all of my hair in there. It actually left a good amount of the sides and back showing which I don't love since that means those areas could get wet in the shower. I am going to try a few different ways to get all of my hair in there tightly, but if that doesn't work I'm going to pass this along to my Mom who I think has a smaller head than I do, hahaha!

Women's Multi-Vitamin Gummies by SugarBearHair, 60 pieces – Retail Value $29.99

I received these gummies in a previous box and absolutely love them! They are honestly delicious and a welcomed change from the massive daily vitamin I am currently taking! They taste like a fruit snack but are filled with Omega-3, vitamins B-12, C, D-2, E and more. Plus they are vegan and free of any artificial flavors or sweeteners. Since I already have a bottle that I am working through I decided to pass these along to my Mom as well who mentioned she just ran out of her vitamins. She loves how easy they are to take each morning and doesn't have to worry if she doesn't have a glass of water with her, she can just pop them in on the go!

Detox Brush with Massage Nodules by AfterSpa – Retail Value $16

I have been dry brushing for years! I have a genetic blood mutation that apparently can impact your body's ability to detox and the top thing I always read is to dry brush so I was really excited to see this detox brush! It was way better than the one that I have because it fits right in my palm and has a handy strap which makes it so easy to hold. Dry brushing is great to remove impurities in your skin, exfoliate your skin, and it stimulates blood circulation. I have been keeping this brush under my sink and have been brushing at night before bed, a lot of people brush in the AM because it wakes your body up, but I find it to be really relaxing to do before bed. All you have to do is brush starting at your feet and going in an upward motion, you will want to do a clockwise motion on your chest and stomach. If you aren't dry brushing, I highly recommend it!

Self-Care To-Do Sticky Notes – Listed Value $7.99

These sticky notes are so cute and perfect for the New Year! They are a great way to set small goals, give yourself loving reminders, or to keep yourself on track with self-care. I've also used these to leave little notes for my husband, which always feels special and sweet to do. I love that each little note set comes on this larger paper so I can keep track of everything easily in my paper drawer for easy access. While these aren't a show-stopping item this month, I love that it focuses on self-care, self-love, and just to remind yourself that you are doing the best!

Basecamp Cards Second Edition by Basecamp Card Co. – Retail Value $10.53

This is hands down my favorite item of the month! These cards have different questions on them that are great conversation starters. Perfect to take on a trip, to play at a party, or to keep in a conference or break room at work. The questions vary from funny to deep. I put my deck in a drawer in my kitchen to have them handy to use with my husband after the kids are in bed. We asked each other a few questions here and there a few times while we cooked dinner together, and then decided to bring them out again Valentine's Day weekend! We drank wine and got a lot of laughs out of some of the questions and our answers. Some of the questions turned into a great conversation between us about our past, our future plans, and even our kids. These cards were the thing we didn't know we needed to spice up another standard evening at home!

Unicorn Lip Plumping Mask by Aminnah Skincare - Listed Value $14.99

This lip mask looks good enough to eat! I wear lipstick religiously so I am always finding ways to provide my lips with extra hydration so that my lip colors go on smoothly. I was amazed at how well this mask worked! My lips felt silky smooth for hours after I applied. I can't say that I noticed any plumping, but the hydration alone made this product a winner for me. I've been using this mask on my lips at night to let it really drink into my skin, and I have been waking up with that extra hydration that I need this time of year.

The Verdict: This month's TheraBox was a hit for me! I am obsessed with the Basecamp cards, body scrub, detox brush, and the lip mask. The SugarBearHair items are most likely both getting passed along to my Mom, but I know she is going to love both of them and get a lot of use out of them. I was really excited to try the coffee scrub, but I was a little surprised at how little exfoliation I got out of it. However, I was able to learn about so many brands that I had never heard of before and test products that I don't think I would buy for myself. Really though, I can't say enough about this box! I love the curation and how it feels like a special gift to myself. Plus, if there are items that I can't use, I know that I can confidently pass them along to someone else. This month's estimated retail value is $142.11 making this box an awesome deal considering the $39.98 price ($34.99 + $4.99 shipping). You really can't beat that value, especially if you are looking to learn more about beauty and wellness brands and products or if you are just looking for a more curated way to pamper yourself!

To Wrap Up:

Gosh this box looks awesome. Does anyone know if it is still available?

It doesn’t look like this box is available anymore, unfortunately.

I checked it out earlier and yeah, it’s still available as a one-off box, but it’ll cost you $45.95 (I assume plus shipping) instead of the $34.99 subscription price. Starting a subscription will get you the February box. However, you can use the code TREATYOSELF for 15% off which brings it down to $39.06. I’ve been mulling it over for a few hours and I don’t think I’ll bite since I’m on product overload, but I’ve been watching this sub for a while and do think this was a particularly good curation.
