SprezzaBox "Greenpoint" January 2020 Review

Recently SprezzaBox rolled out a brand new feature based on feedback from its customers. Now subscribers get to choose their box each month from several different options. You will receive an email prompting you to select your box and then you'll be taken to a page with photos and information about each of the boxes. This is a great way to ensure you get exactly what you want or need and if you forget to pick your box, don't worry because they will simply have a stylist choose one for you! This month we chose the Greenpoint box which is a little different from their usual boxes and has more of a rugged outdoorsy feel which suits my husband well. Let's check it out!

Sky Outfitters Dark Gray Knit Beanie - Retail Value $30.00, Listed Value $28.00
First up we have this knit beanie and it looks like this color is sold out, but they have a few more options available. It is a pretty thick knit and holds its shape well and should be great at keeping your head warm in the cold weather. The gray color is nice and neutral and while it is made from 100% soft acrylic, my husband didn't find it to be particularly itchy. It comes from Sky Outfitters, a company that donates one item to their shelter of the month with every item sold. How cool is that? They also included a coupon code for 20% off.

While this is for my husband, my youngest son (obsessed with hats) was eager to steal this one from daddy and now seems to think this is his hat!

Weekend Casual Red and Black Striped Socks - Listed Value $12.00
The next item to keep my husband warm were these retro-style socks. I don't know how fond my husband was of the pattern, but I thought they were nice looking! They actually have an extra layer inside on the bottom making them extra cushy and warm. These are a blend of polyester, rubber, and spandex.

Red Forest Scene Sprezza Mug - Listed Value $16.99
This mug is nice and lightweight and has such a fun design on it! I love the black and white over the red which makes it feel a bit retro and seasonal. This is made from 100% enamel and holds 10 ounces.

Lather Unscented Lip Balm - Listed Value $6.50
My husband doesn't suffer from dry winter skin like I do, but occasionally he will ask to borrow my chapstick, so this unscented lip balm will be perfect for him to stash in his car or work bag. I tested it out for him and it did feel moisturizing from the mix of organic olive oil, beeswax, and aloe. It also has SPF 15.

Sprezza Multipurpose Pocket Survival Tool - Listed Value $14.00
Since this box has a great camping vibe, it wouldn't be complete without a tool or gadget and this multipurpose pocket survival tool is a cool one. It is definitely pretty heavy duty made from black stainless steel with 11 useful features including a screwdriver, several wrenches, a knife edge, saw blade, a ruler and a can opener. I love that they included this case for it along with a little diagram of the features.
Verdict: Our pick from SprezzaBox this month felt like such a nice winter box and the quality of the items was great! My husband and I both loved the curation of items and it was nice to be able to check out a different style box with more of a casual theme. This Pick-Your-Own-Box feature is such a great way to ensure that you get exactly what you want or need or just to align it a bit more with your style. They are definitely branching out in terms of the types of items they offer which makes it pretty exciting to make your choice each month! My husband will definitely be using each of the items he received this month. The total listed value of our box comes to $79.49 which is great for a $30.00 ($28.00 + $2.00 shipping) box!
