January 2020 Pet Treater Dog Pack Review

This shipment from Pet Treater included 4 items: a gourmet cookie, toy, bag of treats, bandana, and promotional literature.

Look how cute this month’s “Pick of the Litter” is! Winslow looks so adorable in last month's bandana! Don't forget to email photos of your dog to enter to win a free item in your next month's box.

Icee Dog Toy

This is probably the coolest dog toy we own now! I love the shiny green "drink" part and the red straw rope was a hit with Rufus. My kids think this is also their toy now and are very interested in what an Icee is. It might not seem like it in the photo, but Rufus has been loving playing catch with this new toy so much!

BT's Bake Shop All Natural Gourmet Pac-Man Cookie, 1.25 oz

What a treat to receive two cookies this month! I've never played Pac-Man, but my husband loved it and now has gotten our son into it as well (it seems to be making a comeback)! Rufus gobbled both of these cookies down in record time like he always does. I don't mind though since I know these are made with quality ingredients like bacon, eggs, honey, and cheese to name a few.

Totally Tubular Tri-Protein Blend Treats Made for Pet Treater by The Pound Bakery

This tri-protein blend treat bag is made with chicken, turkey, and salmon! They look like little energy bites that I would eat. Rufus gobbled a few of these down and would have eaten more if I had let him. These have been great to use when getting him to go outside or if we need to put him upstairs while the kids eat their meals. I love knowing that I am giving Rufus healthy treats, plus these resealable bags seem to last us forever so we have a nice variety to offer him now!

Cassette Tape Bandana for Pet Treater

I love this retro print so much and the cassette tape brings back memories! Kids these days will never understand! The quality this month feels a lot nicer; it was extra soft and I didn't notice any frayed edges. There weren't any tags, but there is the Pet Treater logo on the front which I haven't seen on the previous month's bandanas. Rufus is rocking this print!

Verdict: Another successful month from Pet Treater with a super fun '80s theme! The quality of the bandana has gone up which I really appreciate because it is just so soft now and looks great on Rufus! We received two yummy cookies this month instead of one, even though Rufus ate both in one sitting, and the Totally Tubular treats were a protein-packed hit! I really love knowing that we are going to get quality toys and treats for Rufus each month, and even my kids get excited when they see this package come in the mail!

This month I received 4 items. I couldn’t find any of the exact items online, so just by dividing it out, each item would cost about $3.75. Since we received two cookies this month and the quality of the bandana has gone up, I would say that this feels pretty accurate! At $15 a month with free shipping, I know that I'm making Rufus happy with quality items which is really where I see the value!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you’ll receive a collection of pet-approved favorites as a welcome pack. After that, your pet will receive the same monthly shipment as other subscribers. Items vary from shipment to shipment, so you’re not guaranteed the same items as seen here. Standard orders generally ship around the 10th of each month. If you’ve added special requests to your order (allergies, no plush, tough toys, etc.), this may add additional processing and packing times due to the extra labor involved.

We got the same exact box this month. Loved the Icee toy but my crazy Boxer tore it up within minutes of getting it!
