Goddess Provisions "Moon Wisdom" December 2019 Review

The box comes with a short but informative booklet that outlines all of the goodies included this month. On the back, you'll find "Divine Details" about all the great things that come with your subscription as well as their other digital subscription available.

Moon Aromatherapy Diffuser/Humidifier - Listed Value $22.00

I have a couple of diffusers already at home, but not like this one. I'm actually really impressed with the amount of vapor this little fella puts out and it's super simple to operate. All you have to do is fill the bottom vestibule with water, connect the top and cord, and push the single button on the edge of the top to get it going. Additionally, the textured moon surface has a light that can be turned on by pressing the button a second time which makes it slowly light up across the top, simulating the phases of the moon and back again. A third press of the button will turn it off altogether, but it will also turn off automatically after 3 hours. When the vestibule is full, you should get 6 hours of total vapor time. The glow of the light is very nice and calming and would be great for someone like my Mom who likes to have a nightlight on. The instructions don't specifically say anything about essential oils, but the booklet says it can be used as a diffuser by adding some of your favorite scents to the water. The included cord is USB so it can be plugged directly into a computer at your office for a desk companion or used with a USB-compatible wall plug that is used for most smartphones and electronics.

Danica Studio Moonrise Designer Dishtowel - Retail Value $14.99 (found here for $11.96)

Everything Danica Studio makes is adorable and well-crafted. I've had many of their products in the past and they always have the cutest designs in a myriad of different products. This dishtowel is made in India of 60% cotton and 40% linen and has illustrations of seven different moons with sleepy little faces. This is going to look so cute hanging off my oven!

Fierce Forward Crescent Moon Necklace in Gold - Retail Value $37.00

What a sweet little gold necklace that falls in line with the moon theme this month! While I probably wouldn't pay $37 for this, I think it's a nice simple piece and is really lightweight. The necklace comes in its own drawstring bag and is on a 20" chain. The gold crescent moon charm that hangs from it is an inch tall. It brings just enough flair to an otherwise boring neckline.

Tub Tonics La Luna Bath Bomb  - Listed Value $6.00

It's been a minute since I've taken a bath, but I miss the relaxation they bring. This mini bath bomb from Tub Tonics is roughly 2 inches in diameter so it's maybe half the size of one from Lush but has just as much fizz. This one is made with chamomile essential oil to fully get your calm on while you soak. I found it to be quite soothing and it has a little bit of gold and purple on it for extra pizazz.

Crafting Witch Lunar Witch Stickers - Listed Retail Value $5.00

Yay- I love stickers! Here we have a special sheet made just for Goddess Provisions by Crafting Witch. There are 11 large stickers of crystals and moons with eight small phases of the moon stickers at the bottom. I like the soothing purple and yellow colors used and think the illustrations are really cool. I'll be using these to decorate my new notebook for school, thank you very much!

Moon Wisdom Crystals by Goddess Provisions - Listed Value $44.00

Another exclusive in the box is this set of smoky quartz crystals that come in a velvety pouch. Each crystal is a rounded pebble about an inch and a half in diameter that has been tumbled to achieve a nice shiny finish. There are eight in all that each represent a phase of the moon in metallic gold paint on one side. Lucky for me, there's a guidebook to help me use them. They can be used in various ways such as placing them on your heart of sacral chakra while meditating, carrying the current moon with you during its phase to connect with its energy, or placing them on a prepared altar for guidance while reciting a suggested mantra. Each page of the tiny booklet has a phase of the moon listed with a mantra that you can pull at random when you feel like you need guidance. I think this is a really interesting and fun practice that should help me focus when I feel overwhelmed. I can't wait to start using these! I'm a little hesitant to believe the $44 value on this, but receiving them in a $33 box is a-ok by me.

Digital Bonus Item: Me & The Moon Lunar Alignment Journal

When you're a subscriber, you can put in your email address and get the downloadable journal sent to you. It includes pages you can print out to reflect on each day and jot down how you felt and how it coincides with the moon. There are also pages the contain journaling prompts for each moon phase as well.

The Verdict: My first Goddess Provisions box was a delight to go through! I think the wisdom crystals are my favorite item and overall I thought the moon theme was really cool! Everything included fit the theme and my vision of what to expect from a box like this. I like that they chose many items from small Etsy sellers to mix in with the more mass-produced ones. Not everything was found available online, but using the values they supplied along with ones I could find, this box has a total retail value of $128.99.

So curious – is there a distinction with the crystals for waxing vs waning?

I don’t get enough boxes to bother with the swap site but I am desperately seeking the crystals if anyone is interested in selling them
