Vine Oh! “Oh! Ho Ho!” Holiday 2019 Review

There is a card for each item, as well as an overview card with total box value enclosed in the Oh! envelope.

Now onto the items. Let's start with some wine!

The wines included in the box are custom made for Vine Oh! so if you like a bottle and want more, you can usually find them for purchase on the Vine Oh! wine shop. You have the option of either two sweets, two whites, two reds, or a mix. I selected the “mix” and received a merlot and pinot grigio.

2017 Speechless California Merlot – Retail Value $25.00

Speechless California Merlot delivers aromas of dried figs, black currants and cinnamon, with flavors of anise and licorice, blackberry jam and notes of cloves and caraway.

I love merlot when the weather is cold, especially when paired with a beef stew! This one is delightfully dark and whispers black cherry and spices vibes! Also pairs well with sharp cheeses, but honestly, what doesn't?

2017 New Crush California Pinot Grigio – Retail Value $21.00

This aromatic and complex Pinot Grigio presents aromas of white peaches and white flowers, sea spray, oyster shell and flavors ranging from casaba melon to citrus zest with a hint of Creme Fraiche in the finish.

I don't generally love Pinot, but I did like this, especially when enjoyed with a cheese plate. The fresh, bright taste pairs well with the creaminess of cheese and crackers, especially when a little bit of honey is also involved!

Now, onto the lifestyle items!

Laura Geller Iconic New York Collection Uptown Chic Palette – Retail Value $42.00

What a pretty palette! I love pink/rose/brown/gold assortments because they are super easy to wear and pretty natural unless you build them up. The shimmers are definitely more pigmented than the mattes in this collection, but everything is more than decently pigmented, with the exception of 2 shades: Blackberry and Adobe. Those two take more work for payoff. Altogether though, I think this is a pretty solid palette in shades I prefer personally.

Top to Bottom: Love Note, Desert, Bubbling, Brownstone, Pink Petal, and Uptown Tulip

Top to bottom: Electric Rose, Blackberry, Adobe, Chestnut Sparkle, 24k Gold, and Fudge.

Northpoint Cozy Hub Sherpa Socks – Retail Value $12.00

I love getting crazy warm socks in the winter because I swear I freeze for at least 5 months out of the year, my feet and hands being the worst! These are faux-sherpa lined and downright THICK. I am glad the colorway sent in my box was a subdued grey and cream instead of something more "holiday." I tend to be pretty reserved when it comes to such things, but I still appreciate the wintery vibes and warmth! I also appreciate the little dots on the bottom of the foot that should help me walk instead of slide across my hardwood floors.

Wine Winks Tea Towel – Retail Value $12.00

This 100% cotton cheeky tea-towel describes the condition of "Wine-gry" which is closely related to "hangry." I suffer from both so I am glad these serious conditions are being recognized on kitchen gear! On a serious note, this is super cute and looks darling hanging from my stove handle.

EB and Co Simple Drop Earrings– Listed Value $35.00

So these gold-plated beauties might be a little TOO simple for me personally, but I can appreciate the minimalism, especially if you adore very edited accessories. I plan on passing these shiny gold drops to a friend who is much more classic in terms of style than I am!

Bizz and Weezy Confections Chocolate Bark, 2.5 oz – Listed Value $15.00

Though I feel like the amount of chocolate in this little box was significantly less than anything I would pay $15 for, it was tasty. Both of my varieties were dark chocolate, one with crispy rice and mini marshmallows, and the other was thinner with peppermint shards.

The Verdict: The Vine Oh! holiday box was certainly a treat yourself sort of treat! Or, if you gift it, a treat anyone box, really! I really liked both wines and thought they were wonderfully drinkable. I think the merlot might have been my favorite of the two, since something about merlot always feels incredibly festive, even if I am just couch-sipping. The cozy socks are perfect for curling up under a blanket next to the fire while sipping more wine! The eyeshadow palette was a collection of really lovely colors that are as natural or dramatic as you want. The earrings are certainly simple, though I feel like my minimalist jewelry fans might love them more then I did. The chocolate was delicious, though I do wish there had been more. But, I mean.. there can ALWAYS be more chocolate.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? This box will begin shipping on 12/12!

Value Breakdown: At $59.99 for this box, each of the 7 items has an average cost of $8.57.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Did the earrings come in a package or box of any kind? I wish there was a picture of that. The amount of chocolate in that box is just pitiful! Still excited for my box though, those eyeshadow colors are my style.

Hey Victoria! They arrived in a little sheer pouch. You can kind of see it in the unboxing photos at the beginning of the review. Hope this helps!

The coupon only works if you buy two boxes for $117.98 before tax and you get a free blanket, not a eyeshadow pallet and glass set.
