Rocksbox is a jewelry styling and renting service. Members pay a flat rate every month to get unlimited access to the Rocksbox collection and the option to buy the pieces they love most at a discounted price. Right now, you can even get your first month of Rocksbox membership for free! (Read on to learn how, or check out our list of other free subscription boxes here!)

Upon subscribing, you'll take a "style survey" so Rocksbox can suggest jewelry pieces that fit your style. You can also browse their catalog and add pieces to your wishlist. Each month, Rocksbox will curate sets of three pieces to send your way, including at least one piece from your wishlist.

Try on the items in the box, and wear them as long as you'd like. From there, you have two choices. If you love any of the pieces enough to want to keep them, you can put your monthly "Shine Credit" towards your purchase.

Or, if you're ready for another style, return your box using the free shipping label and reusable envelope you got with your shipment. Shortly after, you'll get a brand new box of jewelry to enjoy!

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Rocksbox Rental Jewelry November 2019 Review

Here's the info booklet that came with the jewelry set. It includes a product list with retail and member-specific pricing.

They also included a handy jewelry care card.

A free return shipping label is also at the bottom of the box.

FYI: The outer envelope that Rocksbox ships inside doubles as a return shipping envelope! Be careful as you cut it open—there's a second adhesive strip that can be used to reseal the envelope for its trip back.

Each jewelry item comes tucked inside its own protective pouch that can also be used as a polishing cloth.

Kate Spade Planet Pink Huggies - Listed Value $78.00, Member Price $78.00

I freaking love a huggie-style earring and I also like designs that are pretty but also a little quirky. These Saturn-inspired dangles check all of those boxes. The center is a pink glass orb and around it is a gold CZ-encrusted ring that matches the mini hoop huggie section of the earring perfectly. I kind of wish I could just buy a single of these because they would look adorable in a mix and match multi-piercing look!

Becca Cuff Set - Listed Value $50.00, Member Price $42.00

I thought I would be more into these cuffs than I actually was, and I think that is because they just felt too lightweight. I like a heavier cuff that feels substantial, and these were featherlight. I do still like the colors and patterns, but these aren't my favorite rental piece by any means.

Sophie x Sterling Trio Station Necklace - Listed Value $65.00, Member Price $55.00

I am finding myself really drawn lately to these super simple necklaces. I really enjoy layering them with others in my collection to create little curated neck looks. This delicate chain is made of sterling silver and there are three little trios of cubic zirconia evenly spaced. It is one of those pieces that could totally read as a white gold+diamond combo piece because it is so demure, but without that hefty price tag. Though it feels delicate, it is sturdy enough for everyday wear for sure, and totally timeless.

The Verdict: Rocksbox was super fun this month, though I did receive a little bit of a dud. Though I am not crazy about the cuffs, I really, really loved the necklace and space-inspired earrings. Both are totally in line with my jewelry tastes right now, and I can't wait to wear them out for a little bit before I return them!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on the customer's tastes and what's available at the time. You can, however, give the Rocksbox stylists a nudge by adding your favorite pieces to your wishlist!

Value Breakdown: Rocksbox membership costs $21.00 per month. At retail, the three pieces would cost me $193.00. With my Rocksbox discounts and the member pricing (including the buy-all-three-items discount, my $20 worth of Forever Credit that I have on my account, and the $21.00 of Shine Credit [the membership fee for the month, which goes towards your purchases]), and the $10 buy all three discount, that price drops to $124.00.
