Postmark'd Studio PostBox "No Place Like Home" Review

Anne always sends a super cute little note in a tiny envelope. This month mine featured a silver print of shoes with red rhinestones.

Our customary blue postcard also got the ruby slipper treatment!

Ruby Slipper Card by Catherine Greenup Visual

I really love it when we get cards from Catherine Greenup because they are always super minimal but oh-so bold! This charming blue card features a single red slipper in a metallic red. The envelope matches perfectly but features a pop of gingham inside that really sets the whole card off beautifully.

Next to You Card by Violet Press - Retail Value $5.50

This card is so cozy. I plan on using it as a 'just because' little love note for my husband because we have spent a lot of time apart this season so far between vacations and family trips. I know he will love the little couch and the sentiment. I really love the light blue envelope, too!

Home is Where the Hearth Is Card by Gotamago - Retail Value $5.50

Ahhh this one hit me right in the feels. It reminds me SO much of my grandparents. My grandmother even had a similar potholder when I lived with them growing up. I haven't been home for Christmas in about a decade, as we usually spend Thanksgiving with my parents and Christmas with my husband's, so I think I will set this special little card aside to send to my Nana. I know the retro yellow oven will make her smile.

No Place Like Home Card by Post Rider Press

Another charmer, this little card has letter pressed snowflakes falling around some super cute little brownstones. It comes complete with the most handsome green card.

BONUS CARD: Hate Has No Home Here Card by La Familia Green

I just love these little puppers and their cat, rabbit, bird, and mouse friends! And their yard sign, too! This card will be going to a friend who literally has ALMOST this exact yard sign in her yard year-round, and is a total animal lover. It arrived with a stately kraft brown envelope.

Custom Postcard Pack by Lantern Press

These cute cards feature a watercolor-infused layout of the world. You can select wherever you happen to be at the time or where ever home is before you drop your note in the mail.

Ruby Red Slipper Glitter Washi Tape

I love shining elements in my letter writing and the fact that this glitter doesn't shed makes me SO happy! It is the perfect accent for holiday cards right now, too.

Stickers for Keepers Sticker Sheet - Retail Value $3.34

These little houses remind me so much of the variety of my old Boston neighborhood. Every little one was so special and different.

Vintage Stamps

And here is our monthly envelope filled with vintage postage. Anne always includes a postage calculator for those of us who are mathematically challenged.

Verdict: This was a great Postmark'd box. Anne excels at themes that feel fresh and new, but are still totally in season. I love the "home for the holidays" sort of twist this month and that everything wasn't in-your-face Thanksgiving or Christmasy. I also already know who most of these cards will go to, and I love having them on hand so I don't have to buy ones last minute at the store. I adore how unique and special they are and I know their recipients will, too.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, your first PostBox will be the January box, set to ship on 1/5/2020. December boxes are available as a one-time purchase and will ship immediately!

ACTIVE DEAL: Get free shipping on your first box (MSAFS) or save $10 off your first box with a 3-month subscription (MSA404ME)
CODE: MSAFS or MSA404ME

Value Breakdown: This box costs $25.00 + $5 shipping, which means that each of the 8 items in the box (minus the included Postmark'd postcard and stamps) has an average cost of $3.75.

What's your favorite item from this month's Postmark'd Studio Postbox?

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Is it clear that the ruby red slippers with the gingham inner envelope print is a direct reference to ” Wizard Of Oz”? It wasn’t mentioned…

Anne

It just didn’t seem right not to give a little nod to Wizard of Oz when the theme was “No Place Like Home”. In our insert card, we mentioned that the shoe on the card is designed from the original slippers that Judy Garland wore in the Wizard of Oz movie. We also included a picture of a pair that is on display at the Smithsonian Museum.
