November 2019 Dapper Dog Box Review

November's box theme is Woodland Forest.

Each box comes with two info cards, one listing the featured item of the month—the Dapper Dog monthly bandana—and the other has some social media info as well as a little more info about the charitable nature of this box.

Murray is ready to dig in!

Woodland Forest Bandana - Listed Value $30.00

This month's Dapper Dog came with their new bandana style, which made its debut in October's box. This style is definitely easier to tie and fits around my dog's neck perfectly. Here is the bandana modeled on my BFF Murray (he is my 8-year-old Corgi-Maltese); the medium size fits him to a T!

Steel Dog Duck with Tennis Ball Dog Toy - Retail Value $9.99

Last month we received two toys with tennis balls inside of them, so I was surprised to find a similar toy one month later from the same company. There isn't a squeaker in this toy, which was disappointing for Murray, but it didn't stop him from carrying this duck around the house for a few days. He wasn't really interested in playing with this one, but I think he made a friend.

Here is Murray with his new buddy.

Exclusively Dog Cookies Bonfire Bears, 6 oz - Retail Value $8.65

This crunchy cookie was a hit this month. The peanut butter and molasses flavor had Murray begging for more, but my favorite part of this cookie is its adorable shape! Exclusively Dog's treats are human-grade, and they only use natural and kosher ingredients, which is music to a dog mom's ears!

How cute is that cookie!

Vital Essentials Freeze-Dried Duck Nibs, 2 oz - Retail Value $8.99 (Found here for $8.09)

Mur loves this brand, thanks to Dapper Dog! My boy lives for training treats, especially of the freeze-dried variety. Not only are these treats irresistible to him, but they are also free of antibiotics, grain, gluten and hormones!

Yum!

The Foggy Dog Bone Toy - Retail Value $16 (based on similar styles)

I love the minimalist style of this toy! It is just the right size for Murray to enjoy, and it has one squeaker in the middle. Every toy made by The Foggy Dog is made in the US with low-waste manufacturing and recycled materials, when possible. I love the print of this toy, which I couldn't find on their website, but they have quite a few others, including some prints by Rifle Paper Co!

This is a great toy for tug-of-war or fetching, totally Murray approved!

Verdict: Dapper Dog sent out an awesome box for November. We love the healthy, natural treats, the toys and the new design of the bandanas are a great fit for Murray, too! This box's value adds up to approximately $73.18, using sale and retail values, which is pretty great for a $35 box.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the December box.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $35/month, giving each of the 5 items in the box an average cost of $7.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

Hi Abby!
When I saw the Dapper Dog review was up, I had one thought….Murray!
Thanks so much for your and Murray’s fantastic ruff-view. This box is great, and I love that larger dogs can be accommodated at no extra cost. The toys are really tasteful (in the aesthetic sense) and I 100% believe you that Murray gave them two paws up! Thanks for the charming review. I would get this box but my last pup died 2 years ago and I can’t bring myself to go through a mourning phase again for a while. So I am happily appreciating the pups, kits and chicks who have adopted MSA team members in the meantime. Thanks again. Loved it.

Super cute! But the value of $30 for the bandana seems way to high? I love the concept but seems overpriced.
