Its January 3rd and I received this same email before and I still haven’t received my boxypremium.

SAME! I also was sent the wrong choice item for December and got an email that is was being shipped right away. Shockingly, still haven’t heard anything about that either. I emailed them yesterday with a hey, where the heck is my stuff in the nicest way possible, but no answer yet.

OnTrac is terrible!
I checked to see if there were any updates and it is showing that they DELIVERED my box which is NOT HERE! I was home all day yesterday and received all of my Amazon deliveries just fine but somehow my Boxy went missing. It updated at 10 PM saying that my box was delivered at 2:52 which is outright wrong.

I don’t know if I contact OnTrac or go straight to Boxy for answers.

Good question. IF I OWNED A SUB BOX COMPANY:
I’d curate to be what Luxor box tried to be.
I’d like to see a comprehensive set of premium brand skincare in a great travel size. TSA compliant.
I’d pick Elemis because the products are lovely and no one complains about where it’s made or the ingredients.

I’d put a solid color set of lace ” garters” which go underneath the jeans with holes high up on the thighs and missing knees. You can turn a grunge look into a boho chic look with these. They have great stretch and MOST should fit all but the outlying teeny sizes of the high end of the plus sizes. I would make them in both Reg and Plus. They go next to the skin, so I prefer mine ( I had to repurpose some other lace items to make mine) to be very stretchy nylon lace that’s all year round seasonal it stays up perfectly season after season.i Might fall into the whimsical category vs luxury but subscribers need to dress appropriately for the weather.

I’d put ONE classic handbag in a box unless the customer opts out. I’d go with a nice sized LV monogram canvas with piping and perhaps handles/ strap in unfinished leather.

I’d put ONE piece of Tiffany and Co. solid sterling jewelry in the box. Likely a necklace which is at least 30 inches long for larger size ladies to have enough length.

I’d put a flacon of Chanel perfume, because everyone needs to try it once. If you hate it, sell it unopened on eBay or Poshmark.

Depending on age selected, I’d add a true wellness product. A comfort kit for mammograms. I’d work with a nationwide insurer to get covered charges for all to have a screening mammogram yearly.

I’d include a free voucher for a dental exam and teeth cleaning at any dentist which takes insurance by using one of the ” smile” services.

The healthcare could be transferred to a friend, relative or shelter if the subscriber has been told she doesn’t ever need another mammogram due to bilateral removal of all breast tissue. The dental exam still would apply to everyone because there would still be bone and gingival health needs if the subscriber has implants or dentures.

I’d include the first 3-4 seasons of the run of ” Designing Women”. The Susanne years. Because women need to know how to be empowered like Julia was, and to be sassy like both Sugarbakers in soft funny ways. Kill more flies with honey than vinegar, ladies. 🙂

I’d include the current Echo Dot plus unlimited Amazon Music service which is $8.00 to purchase currently. I’d make sure people know how to turn off the microphone and how to get it to call 911 for you immediately.

Because I do have great connections in the health care insurance market, the highest priced items would be a designer bag that will last a lifetime and a sterling silver piece of designer jewelry from Tiffany’s.

I’d offer a payment plan, delivery guaranteed, PayPal payments only for the subscriber’s safety. One box limit per ADDRESS AND PAYMENT METHOD…

Likely cost $2000 in 10 payments of $200. Shippping is free, and would be next day UPS or Fed Ex due to the value.

I could curate truly luxurious timeless plus a bit of whimsy boxes all day long and not repeat a single item purchase. 🙂

Ok, I’m just wondering exactly what products people think would be “impressive” in these sub boxes? What other brands or products do you want? I’m so tired of all of the complaining! Come on everyone! It’s a sub box and they have been putting out some amazing products lately!

I am glad that they sent this email, even so I did not expected my box until end of the month anyway. I am totally fine to receive box later, longer it will arrive before month end. Giving holiday season all my parcels are delayed and it was expected. I am excited to get my first premium box and see what pallet I got in regular box.

Boxycharm is often such a mess. Yeah, I see an occasional, crazy desired product from them, hello Denona!, but the mistakes and customer service is such a nightmare that I won’t resubscribe. There are just better run companies that I prefer to give my $$ too. Maybe 2020 is when Boxycharm will really amp it up and get it together. Pair that with less mistakes and better customer service and I think more subscribers will consider coming back.

I didn’t get a coupon and heaven only knows when my boxes will arrive. *sigh*

Not just premium. Luxe is delayed as well. They also changed shipping carriers from FedEx to DHL and OnTrac. Really crappy move on their part. Both of those companies are notorious for super long delivery times, asking for signatures to release deliveries or flat out losing boxes. I was really bummed when Ipsy switched to them, too. I’m never in a hurry to get my boxes, but it doesn’t make good business sense to chose such unreliable carriers

And no $5 credit for us…

Hello Charmer,

It has come to our attention, that due to increased holiday volume, your shipment has not been processed by the local carrier and begun its delivery route to you. Don’t worry, we’re on it! Your tracking information will be updated within the next 48 business hours and your Boxy will be delivered soon!

Thank you for your patience and we hope love your December Boxy. 🖤

XoXo,
Your BoxyCharm Team

I used to get my box around the 24th of the month, until a few months ago when it started showing up around the 10th. I fear it is back to the end of the month delivery with DHL and OnTrac doing the shipping. I’m fine with waiting, but I have a feeling that this is going to push a whole lot of people into canceling. They probably did it to save a very small amount per box, but it will end up costing them more in the long run if they start losing accounts over it.

I received an e-mail that they sent me the same palette in both my luxe and premium boxes and to rectify they will be sending me the Natasha Denona palette and I can keep the palettes that were the same. I didn’t really want the Natasha palette because those colors make me look like I’ve been crying. I wanted the green storybook one really but now I will have 3 palettes that I don’t really want. I guess I will be gifting them late to my nieces.

Lilly

I have the green storybook palette and it’s unswatched and unopened. I really want the Natasha Denona palette.

AH

I really hope I get that response as I received another Storybook palette and a second black Kat Von D eyeliner in my premium box – so a 1/3 of my products were repeats. I have yet to get a response from CS besides the automated ones saying someone will get with me.

They’ve been messaging people about replacing duplicate products. Some got 2 of the same palettes others 2 Ciate highlighters. I received 2 Ciate highlighter, they are going to replace 1, but not the duplicate eyeliner. One was her Cake Eyeliner and the other her Dagger Eyeliner, so to Boxy they are technically different products. Annoying, I won’t use either! At first they didnt even want to replace the highlighter.

rsb

I will be saying goodbye to both Boxy and Ipsy after I receive my boxes/bags. The last few months for both have been not very impressive like they used to be and shipping is a joke for both companies. If you’re reading this BOXYCHARM and Ipsy stop using 2 different shipping methods. When you just used dhl or whatever it was I received my items in a timely manner. Now that you hand off from the shipping company to the usps it takes an extra week or two to receive my products. If you change this maybe I might come back

Well, if you were getting luxe and premium, then there was no way you were getting the green storybook palette since that was just for the regular base box. You could always trade one of your palettes for it in a trade FB group or swaps on this site.

My boxes were on time this month but I wish I would have gotten a delay and that $5 for my time 😂🙃

I am surprised as I got my boxy BUT, I got the wrong choice item. I emailed them and I am still waiting for a response. I picked the SkinFix and I got the Bite Beauty. I wanted to try the other items but, I am afraid they might ask me to resend the whole box to send me a new one to get the correct item. It has never happened to me before and it sucks since I really wanted to try the palette out.

You don’t send anything back when they send the wrong item. Usually they can send the correct item separately. Sometimes the correct item is not available. In that case, they might offer a substitution, points, etc. Go ahead and enjoy what you’ve received 😉

Ah, thanks for confirming Jacki!

@lin – me too, good luck!

Same here… I also picked the Skinfix but received the lip mask instead… also waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully they can send us our choice item!

Translation: They had X products in inventory, but promised 2X to the subscribers.

I wish sub boxes would stop saying “we are working around the clock” when they messed up and sending out a notification of delay. Birchbox said that too, when they over-promised the October box (curated box 2). I guarantee that there’s no one at the warehouse at midnight doing anything. Sometimes a figure of speech is not the right thing to say. OK, rant over.

P.S. I finally received a weird assortment of products I had already sampled on October 28 in the Birchbox debacle. Wishing all of you ladies who are waiting for this box that it wouldn’t take you until December 28 to get it.
