TONYMOLY October 2019 Monthly Bundle Review

This box doesn't come with an info sheet, but just like last month, I received some pretty adorable samples. Plus, every October purchase from TONYMOLY also included a free pumpkin mask!

I'm Real Sheet Mask in Green Tea - Estimated Value $3 (Buy a set of two for $6)

The "I'm From" mask line from TONYMOLY is a bit basic, but it still gets the job done in terms of adding some hydration to my skin and just #selfcare in general. Along with green tea, this mask also has aloe and hyaluronic acid, so it is great when your skin needs some soothing moisture.

Dr. Logy Sheet Mask in Sensitive – Retail Value $4.95

This mask is made with chamomile and lavender to calm sensitive skin and add some moisture, and it did just that! I found it soothing to my skin, and I appreciated the 15 minutes of relaxation this gave me. The material is thin and fits closely to the contours of my face, and the sheet mask material was soaked with essence.

Timeless Ferment Snail Hydrogel Mask - Retail Value $9

I love hydrogel masks, and this one is made with fermented snail mucin and gold extracts. Any time a skincare product tolls gold as one of their ingredients, I don't really pay attention- but that fermented snail mucin is some good stuff! This definitely added some life back into my dry and dull skin after a long day, and I loved that the material was soothing to both my skin and my mind (does anyone else just relax automatically once the cooling sheet mask material hits your face?).

Timeless Ferment Snail Eye Mask, 2 pairs - Estimated Value $10 (Buy a set of 5 pairs for $25, currently on sale for $20)

I love eye masks, and these ones were a real treat. They are much thicker than your standard mask, but they still stuck to the skin under my eyes very well. I wore them for about thirty minutes, and once I removed them I definitely felt like the skin looked brighter and felt more nourished.

I'm Green Tea Hydro-Burst Morning Mask, 30 ml - Retail Value $6

I was stoked to see this mask- it's from a new TONYMOLY product line! This wash-off mask is made with green tea, Centella, and bamboo, so it is insanely calming and nourishing to the skin. I appreciate that the beneficial ingredients in this mask are at the top of the list (and thus the highest concentrations in the formula), and this mask is also alcohol-free. If you are a fan of the PETER THOMAS ROTH Cucumber Gel Mask, this may be a much more affordable dupe worth checking out.

Vital Vita 12 Synergy Serum, 1.7 oz - Retail Value $33

I will always be happy to see a full-size serum in a subscription box- score! This serum is chock-full of beneficial ingredients like niacinamide (which brightens), Centella (which soothes), ceramides (which help skin to retain moisture), and propolis (which is nourishing). This serum has an interesting texture that makes it a good option for a morning serum because it left an almost matte finish (likely due to the silicone in the formula).

I'm Green Tea Hand Cream30 ml – Full-Size! Retail Value $6

Hand creams are a common feature in the box, but I’m not complaining. This has a light berry scent, and it didn’t leave my hands greasy after applying.

Vitamin C Synergy Ampoule - Buy the 1 oz version for $20

The Vital Vita line from TONYMOLY is relatively new, so these mini ampoules have been a frequent guest in the monthly boxes. These have come in handy when I have been traveling or doing skincare at the gym, but they are too small to really see noticeable results. I do love that this vitamin C ampoule also includes squalane, though- my skin loves that ingredient!

Lip Market Matte Bar in Red Bite - Retail Value $15

This is a combo between a hydrating lip balm and a matte lipstick, so it gives a bold wash of color without being too drying. I don't really reach for red lip balms like this (if I am wearing red, we are going the liquid lipstick budge-proof route), but the color was randomly chosen so purchasers may have gotten one of the several other available shades.

Moschino Super Beam Eyeshadow Palette in All of The Gold - Retail Value $71 (currently on sale for $45)

I have so many thoughts on this eyeshadow palette- at these prices, we are talking Natasha Denona or Pat McGrath quality. Honestly, though, I think this may be on that level. The shimmers on this palette are absolutely insane- they're pigmented, blendable, buildable... they're everything you want from a high-end eye shadow palette, and the colors are unique compared to your standard eyeshadow palette (I keep reaching for that golden peach shade, and I totally believe Katniss would have worn it in her Girl on Fire look). The palette also features a detachable phone case that can fit an iPhone 7 or 8, but I am firmly in iPhone X land so that is lost on me.

Here are the swatches.

Here is the first look I did with this palette, blending the peach shade with red and maroon shades. Originally I had planned on giving this palette to a friend who loves the Moschino-Sephora collab, but after seeing the color payout on my lids I had to text my friend and tell her the palette was staying with me.

Here is another look I did just with the peach shade, blended out a bit to not be as dramatic for a daytime look that still made me feel very pretty.

The Verdict:  This box was a home run for me. It had a slightly higher cost compared to the other monthly bundles, but wow did it impress me. If I only use one eyeshadow palette for the rest of 2019, it'll be the Moschino one from this box. All of the masks performed well for me, too, and I am really happy to have been able to try the new wash-off mask that TONYMOLY just released. Value-wise, TONYMOLY promised a total value of $156.95 for this box, and by my math, they came out a dollar ahead with a total value of $157.95 for everything except the vitamin C ampoule.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you order today? No, but as of publication, you can purchase the November box

Value Breakdown: This box costs $62.50 ($55 + $7.50 shipping) which means that you are paying about $6.25 per item.

I didn’t get this one as I have a lot of pallets some of which haven’t been used yet. Now, skincare is what I am interested in. I did get November and it’s the bomb for skincare. Love it! Wondering why these always reviewed late when the bundle already sold out.

That peach shade reminds me a lot of the Morgana from Natasha Denona. Love it!

Dang it. I really was tempted to get this because of the Moschino palette but didn’t want to risk getting the bolder palette. What a great variety of products. Totally thought of I Love Lucy with the Vital Vita line. hahaha

Vitameatavegamin LOL. My mom was obsessed with Lucy and it was constantly on when I was a kid! She will always be one of my favorite ladies of television 🙂

Squirrely Girl! Yep! Classic episode for an iconic show. Happy to see someone else got the reference! It was always on during my childhood too. We lived for the marathons.

That palette looks like fall encapsuled in eyeshadow. 😍😍😍

I love this box. Wish it was available. Not quite as intrigued with the November.

Great box. Being in my 40’s, I always think of Moschino as pushing boundaries due to the edgy clothing lines in the 80’s. I was surprised to see the palette has many neutrals. Nice!
