Sock Panda is a monthly sock subscription service. With each shipment, you’ll receive a surprise selection of quality socks from their own house brand with plenty of eye-catching colors and unique designs.

According to the Sock Panda site, this subscription’s products are designed in Venice, CA and made in a family-run factory in Lima, Peru. Sock Panda is committed to making the world a better place— as of January 2018 the company has donated nearly 100,000 socks to homeless shelters, low-income senior centers, hospitals, and under-privileged classrooms throughout the country!

Sock Panda offers subscriptions for men, women, teens, and kids ages 3-8. When you sign up, you’ll pick some style preferences (Wild & Crazy, Patterns & Prints, or One of Each) and note whether you’d like to receive one or two pairs per month.

This review is of the Women’s 2-pair “Wild and Crazy” subscription for $20 a month.

My November 2019 Sock Panda Review

When you join Sock Panda, you can choose between one or two pairs of socks a month. You also can choose between “wild & crazy,” “patterns & prints,” or one of each. I chose to receive "wild & crazy" because I love how they have made my sock drawer come alive!

Yellow and Black Owl Socks

I am getting a definite Harry Potter vibe from these socks, and I am loving it! Not only do these socks feature a brown-eyed owl in a spooky-looking tree, but they also have a black cat and black bats in the background! Like true Sock Panda socks, they feature the logo on the tops of the toes, and "Give Back" on the bottoms. While I do love these socks, I really feel like they should have come in early October to get maximum use rather than the 1st of November. I'm not saying I won't wear these now, because I will, but I would have loved to wear these to school last week!

Bird and Bat Socks

Sticking with the "spooky" theme, I received this adorable pair of cream and burgundy socks featuring birds and bats. When I first opened these socks I thought they had a floral design, but upon closer examination, I see they too are Halloween-themed socks. They are probably my favorite pair of socks I have received, but I am disappointed we didn't receive these in October. Like the previous pair, these also feature the "Sock Panda" logo on the tops of the toes, and "Give Back" on the bottoms. I love the way these fit my legs, and size 10 feet, and I plan on wearing these tomorrow, even though it is now November!

Verdict: Sock Panda is great! I signed up for wild and crazy socks, and they truly delivered! While I wish we would have received these socks in October since they seem Halloween themed, I really liked the patterns and will get a lot of use out of them. I have to say the cream and burgundy pair of socks are my favorite of all time! I love how comfortable these socks are, and how well they hold up. I usually wear black slacks to school every day, and the students really get a kick out of my crazy socks! It's the little things, right? I can't wait to see what comes in December!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You might not get this exact set if you place your order today.

Value Breakdown: This subscription costs $20.00 total for two pairs of socks, meaning each pair is $10.00.

I order 2 subscriptions in October. I have been charged $80 for October and November, but no socks. I tried calling and emailing but couldn’t get anyone to respond. I finally received a Facebook messenger response. I was promised to have them shipped along with extra socks as an apology..I finally received 2 pairs of socks for one subscription. So $80 for 2 pairs of socks. Such a disappointment.

I still haven’t gotten my November socks. The tracking says they are in a warehouse in California. Anyone else having this problem?

Sarah – I signed up for 2 annual subs for my kids in early Nov. I tried to email and call several times with no response. I was finally able to get a reply via FB messenger and my Nov socks finally shipped and did eventually arrive. No word on December though! I have a feeling I will be contacting them monthly until my annual sub ends next Fall!! Good luck!

Sock panda is not worth it, especially since they can’t fulfill their orders on time. Never received my october order, customer service finally responded after I left negativite comments on their Facebook page. They promised to send out the socks that day, it’s been a week and nothing!

Becca – do you have any suggestions on how to get in touch with customer service? Last week I purchased two annual subscriptions for my children. One of the subscriptions shows a renewal date of May (6 months from now) despite it being prepaid for the year. I have tried to contact them via two different email addresses and left a message on the phone number listed, but have not received any response. I don’t want to be charged prematurely for the renewal. I was considering a women’s sub for myself, but now am very hesitant since I cannot get a response from them to address this issue! Thank you!

JennM I haven’t had to contact customer service, but I just did send an email to their listed address to see if I get a response. I’ll let you know if I do! Thanks!

I agree! These definitely should have come in October. I am kinda bummed. I probably won’t wear them until next year.
