Kinder Beauty Box Natural Beauty November 2019 Review

Each box comes with an info card that has each product pictured with a short description and listed value, so you know what each product is worth.

HAN Skincare Cosmetics Eyeshadow Single in "Decadent," 0.11 oz - Retail Value $15

I can always go for a taupey-plum eyeshadow look, and this one goes on like a dream. This shade makes a great all over shadow color, and it is easy to build up the intensity or wear it for subtle definition. Decadent has a soft shimmer to it and wore without fading or creasing for 5 hours. Even though I really like this shade, single shadows tend to get lost in the shuffle in my collection, so this may go in my purse or travel bag for those unplanned day-to-night transformative looks.

Chella Lipstick Pencil in "Rebellious Rose" - Retail Value $20

It is always an amazing surprise when you get a flattering, fresh lip shade in a subscription box; I love Rebellious Rose! This silky product glides on easily and has a minty fragrance to it. I applied it over a balm, and it felt comfortable on my lips for hours. The only complaint I have about this pencil is that you will eventually need a sharpener; other than that very minor inconvenience, it is a great find.

100% Pure Dual Ended Eyebrow Brush - Retail Value $19

I never knew 100% Pure sold brushes, and their line is even cruelty-free. My favorite brow product is the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade, which was perfect to test this brush out with. The size of this angled brush works great to fill in brows, but I wouldn't recommend it to draw on hair-like strokes or for powder eyeliner; the synthetic brush head is a little too thick for that unless you're going for a more dramatic look. This brush seems a little lost in this box since you can't really use it with any of the products, but I always enjoy getting beauty tools in subscriptions.

Chella Eyebrow Pencil in "Tantalizing Taupe" - Retail Value $20

Finally, a taupe brow pencil that is actually universal! The color of this pencil is perfect for touching up my microbladed brows, plus, I can always appreciate a thin-tipped, wind-up pencil like this, especially one equipped with a spoolie on the other end.

PHB Ethical Beauty Organic Eyeliner - Retail Value $11.48 (£8.95)

To me, black eyeliners are a dime a dozen. Unless it applies itself, then I'm really not interested (I prefer color!), and this eyeliner in particular performed as your everyday average pencil. The pigmentation is fabulous, though it didn't live up to its water-resistant claims, especially for this happy cryer. The best use I've found for this plant-based liner is smudged on my top lid.

Swatches from top to bottom: HAN Eyeshadow in Decadent, PHB Eyeliner in Black, Chella Brow in Tantalizing Taupe, Chella Lipstick in Righteous Rose

Verdict: Kinder Beauty Box delivered some nice everyday essentials this month. I could easily put all of these picks into my to-go bag with some base products and be totally set for a day to day look. There wasn't anything that stood out or was exceptionally exciting this month, but I'll definitely be using most of the products up. The value of this month's box came to $85, which is pretty good for a $24 box.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? If the current month's box is still available, it will ship soon after you sign up. Otherwise, you'll be added to the top of the list for the next month's shipment.

Value Breakdown: At $24.00 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • 100% Pure Brush: $5.37
  • Han Eye Shadow: $4.24
  • Chella Brow Pencil: $5.65
  • PHB Natural & Organic Eyeliner: $3.11
  • Chella Lipstick Pencil: $5.65

Alternatively, you are paying $4.80 for each of 5 items in this box.

I love this box. I have received a Han eyeshadow in a box before and it’s lovely. I could use everything here, and think it’s a great deal for the price. But November is sold out. I did sign up for December using your code Liz. There Black Friday code only gave 15% off which was $3.60 Can’t wait to see the reveal for December.

I subscribe to Kinder. It’s one of my favorites. However, I skipped November because the products were not going to be useful to me. I called it their ‘pencilbox’. I have a multi month and CS was gracious on the skip. You have to personally request it; there is no skip feature. I received a sneak peak at December today and it’s looking good. I sent Liz the reveal.

“Every detail of this subscription is eco-conscious from its 100% recyclable and biodegradable box to the eco-friendly soy-based ink used on the packaging.” It seems a bit strange given that all of those items didn’t need so much packaging. Keeping my eye on this sub, though.

Their shipping box is the same size each month. Kinder sometimes sends much larger, full-size items.

I like the Chella lip pencil shade.
