Ahhh Sugar Sugar “Falling Leaves & Pumpkins Please” Review

It also comes with an info sheet for the included products.

An Ode to Asheville Whipped Meringue, 4.25 oz - Listed Value $7.75

The whipped meringues from Ahhh Sugar Sugar are some of my favorite lotions, and I am happy to add this one into my rotation. The scent is toasted marshmallow, crisp fir, smoldering woods, and rich vanilla, but together the combination is lovely without being overpowering or too strong.

A Drive in The Fall Bath Bomb - Listed Value $8

I am always stoked to see a bath bomb- I love them! This one had a crisp scent of mountain air, fresh rain, snow, and sparkling lemon, which was a nice contrast to the other scents in this box that are much deeper.

Meet Me at The Orchard Body Batter, 8 oz - Listed Value $22.50

I am always stoked to find a brand new product in this box, and that's exactly what this body batter is. Think of it as an extra scrubby body scrub blended with coconut oil that moisturizes skin while smoothing it out. The scent is crisp apple, cedarwood, cinnamon, sweet peach, and pipe tobacco, and while I can't use this every day because of the exfoliant level, this is a real treat to use.

Bless This Hot Mess Bath Frosting, 4.25 oz - Listed Value $7.95

This may be one of my favorite bath frostings to date- I love the name, and the scent is a perfectly autumnal blend of toasted pumpkin, green apples, warm marshmallows, and brown sugar. This has taken precedence over my other soaps and bath frostings, and I am already one-third of the way through the jar. For those who aren’t familiar with what this is, think of it as a fluffy whipped soap with a few sugar granules for a very mild exfoliation. These have become my favorite way to lather up! If you’ve been interested in this subscription box but didn’t want to commit to the full box, Ahhh Sugar Sugar just launched a frosting of the month subscription, too!

The Verdict: This is one of my favorite monthly boxes, and the October box is one my personal favorites from the brand. That'll happen when every single scent leaves you feeling like an autumnal princess who wants to crunch leaves and pick apples. Going by the listed values, this box has a total value of $46.20, which is a few dollars over the cost of the box plus shipping. If you sign up hoping for an amazing deal, you probably won't be happy, but if you're looking for well-curated products in unique scents with beautiful packaging, I think this is the box for you.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you still sign up today? No, but sign up today for the December box!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $34.99 + $8.32 shipping ($43.31), which means each of the 4 items has an average cost of $10.83.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

I found this post after signing up for the Frosting of the Month. Basically I wanted some frosting but their shop is not currently up for ordering, and when they do open up it seems to be on a random schedule. I do like that they do preorders for several weeks, but then it takes a long time to get the order. All this is to say I like the idea of the monthly box that automatically is sent on a schedule, but the 34.99 box has more body products than I can use up every month, whereas the frosting of the month is just 1 item. Their sugar free frostings and bath frostings are my favorite items anyway so this is just perfect for me. And as others have mentioned the bath frosting is not super scrubby. It is perfect for every day use. And it doesnt leave a greasy residue! A lot of scrubs are very oily but this one isnt. Overall this is a great company and Im excited to see what scents they send!

If they had a body butter subscription, I’d be all over it. I can’t use exfoliants, they are too harsh for my old skin..

Does every box have a scrub?

Also, is this the box which used to have the Facebook sign up list? ( I always wanted that one and think this is it)

Somehow I stopped reading the reviews because I knew I’d never have a chance to get on the list and missed the part about it being open to all).

Help appreciated. 🙂

Also cannot use scrubs, but I get frosting of the month. I honestly can’t tell there is anything scrubbing me when I use the bath frosting, it is that gentle. I love it!

Yes, they used to have a waiting list, but now you can sign up every month from 1st to 7th.

They have variety of items in each month’s box and sugar scrub is not always in there.
Either Bath frosting or non sugar frosting is the item which always in there.

They have just closed the last preorder of 2019, and will not open the shop at least couple months according to their FB group.

I hope these help you!

Thanks, yes, big help!! 🙂

This is the box! You can purchase things separately from their shop (I think through FB?) but if you get the sub, maybe you can use the scrubs on just your feet?

Lily

Scrub feet! Why haven’t I already been doing this with all my scrubs? Definitely a marvelous idea. 🙂 Thank you!!

Charlotte

I am very tempted by that frosting of the month club.
