Luna and Svetlana, This is a little off topic but since I know you are both skin care fanatics was hoping for some help. I love getting the different boxes but tonight was going thru my stash and can not believe how much I have. I will try something and even though it may not be my favorite feel I need to use it entirely before I try something different. Curious how long do you try a product before you say not for me and move on? Do you have your favorites and keep in rotation and try a new product in between? Luckily I have friends, families and some shelters that are happy for any give aways. Thank you in advance for your insight plus would love any others that want to share.

Hi Connie, like Svetlana, I also have a morning & night skincare routine, so for me I usually have two sets of products for each step in my routine… with a few exceptions where I’ll use the same product for both morning & night. Since my skin is consistent year-round, and I’m not really trying to treat anything (other than the occasional blemish), I stick to the same product until its finished… even if I’m just feeling meh about it… which is actually rare for me since all I really ask for from my skincare is that it cleanses my skin thoroughly without making it feel irritated, that it maintains the moisture in my skin, and that it makes it feel & look healthy all of which I feel I get from virtually all of the skincare I try. While I never try to rush through my products, I do feel that sticking to one product at a time definitely makes me feel like I go through them pretty quickly.

Thank you. I have such dry skin and am always looking for something to combat that. A lot of the moisturizers are just too light. I only use concealer for under eyes, lipstick and blush so maybe if I cleared out all the eyeshadows and mascaras I would not feel so overwhelmed. My granddaughter will happily take off my hands and share with her friends.

Connie, I have my morning and evening routine. However, I don’t stick to same products. I don’t have sensitive skin and I use everything that comes in the boxes. Having poor child sindrome, I use everything up to the end even if I don’t like the product.

Thank you! I also have that childhood where I can’t waste anything and feel so grateful that I can treat myself.

I personally don’t just use one product. With having so many products, I rotate them based on how i feel. Like, if my skin feels dull, I use something brightening, if it’s breaking out, I use something for acne. Within reason of course. I don’t just keep opening products one after another and still have things unopened waiting to be used. I do try to use up current rotation before I move on. But definitely don’t just stick with one.

Appreciate you sharing. Was feeling a little overwhelmed as have things from last years advent calendars that are still waiting for me to try.

I love my husband, but $200 is two nights at a resort getaway that we like. He is happy with a $7 Target box for men (proving yet again that I married correctly!)

Luna

Svetlana, are you getting it? Or are you going to wait for full spoilers? 🙂

Luna, I really want it. However, I am not gambling with $200. The reason is, I looked at their 12 piece calendar and a lot of products are repeats from last year or repeats with Mr. Porter which I got. I already have three jars of hair pomade and bear oil and not sure what to do with it. I will wait for full spoilers.

I went for it blind 🙂 The person I bought them for last year loved them, and used everything up! He even sent me a screenshot of the holiday box as a “hint” as to what to get him again this year. 😀 He loved everything so much, he even signed up for their emails. I told him to unsubscribe from Mankind because then it won’t be a surprise, but really it’s because then he’ll know what I raided from the boxes before I give it to him. 😀
