KW makes one of my top fav foundations, and I love the refillable packaging. I’ve been wanting to try the lip balm and eye shadow but couldn’t justify the price so excited to have gotten them in this box. I haven’t worn eyeliner in years bc I preferred liquid back when I did and my fav one was discontinued, but I’m really liking this one. Grateful to have gotten a brown bc I got black so many times from other boxes and it just never works for me.

I like this brand, but these three items are just meh, and hardly worth the price. I hope detox market box does Kosas next!

Ooooh- good call, Laura! I’d love to check out Kosas too! I just bought a tinted balm of theirs from Sephora and it was much more like a lipstick than I expected. Always intrigued by their packaging.

Definitely a bit underwhelming after the few boxes being super stars for me, but I am glad it’s not skin care! I am at capacity from the last 3 boxes! I had a feeling it would be makeup this month, but I do wish they would have gone for some color! Even a shimmery eyeshadow or something.

Regardless, the packaging does feel amazing and the balm is nice!

I am hoping for some hair stuff next month!

I appreciate your comment since even though I’m super excited for the box, I resubbed as monthly since there have been so many boxes that I haven’t been excited for. I was debating on doing a 3/6 again due to the price for monthly but I think it’s better for me to just buy the ones I know I will be happy to get. I have wanted to try their lip balm and that’s almost the monthly price. The eye pencil I have is okay but they are made to be able to smudge and I like more staying power typically.

I just paused my 3 month renewal. The price different between that and monthly is steep, but in the long run I think I’ll spend less with only purchasing the months that really grab my attention.

This box is almost always tempting so I often sub off and on frequently. I’m definitely safe with this box though. It’s always great to see cruelty free, clean AND sustainable, environmentally responsible beauty products. Unfortunately I find these particular items to feel rather boring and incredibly plain, which makes it hard for me to see them have such incredibly high retail prices. A $50 colorless lip balm (and in a seemingly not-so-earth friendly unnecessary plastic compact?) A single $45 eyeshadow that looks almost exactly like my skin tone? A brow pencil REFILL? What if you don’t have the original refillable container already or don’t want to spend more on it? I’m usually dying to get every one of these boxes but this one is the easiest pass I’ve ever seen. Maybe I’m just missing something?

I think a ton of the cost of the products (not counting the eye pencil refill) is in the container the pans are stored in. I don’t know what they’re made of (glass maybe, or some sort of metal?), but they definitely have a luxe feel to them and are quite heavy, plus they’re meant to be refilled which is why Kjaer Weis sells refills of all of their products to prevent waste. Also, the boxes the products came in (again, not counting the refills) have a “leather” feel to them too, so a lot of what you pay for is definitely in the packaging. 🙂 I’m actually keeping the boxes because they’re too pretty to me to throw away. lol! I haven’t tried any of their products yet though, so I can’t say anything about the quality of their products, but people seem to love them. 🙂 But I am curious to see what the actual container for the eye pencil looks like since the “refill” looks like a regular full-size/complete eye pencil to me! lol

I was curious about the eye pencil refill packaging. I looked at the product page on the Kjaer Weis website and it looks like the component that doesn’t come with the refill is the cap and the eye pencil with a cap costs $4 more. I wanted to pass that along since you provided information about the packaging of the other products in this box.
