Pusheen Box is a quarterly subscription box full of cute Pusheen items that you can't get anywhere else! For $43.95 + $6 US shipping, each Pusheen Box will have a curated assortment of mystery items with a total retail value of over $100. This box has a pretty healthy cult following and is always a favorite when it arrives at the MSA office.

The box is different each season to match the theme. For fall, they've made Pusheen a zombie in a teal and purple colorway.

Even the bottom has her little pink feet!

Pusheen Box Fall 2019 Review

Each box includes an info card that has a cute Pusheen print on the front (seen as a witch this season with Stormy and Pip) that coincides with the theme and a run-down of all of the items on the back. I love that they choose a Halloween theme for the Fall box!

Zombie Pusheen Vinyl Figure

The vinyl figure this time is a spooky but cute zombie Pusheen! Her body has changed from grey to a pale teal color and her stripes are purple! Eek! It looks like her cute little head has been stitched back onto her body a la Frankenstein's monster. Her mouth is hanging open with her tiny paws dangling out in front of her much like a classic zombie walking stance.

Bat Pusheen Sticky Notes

My word, these sticky notes are adorable! Pusheen is in a purple and orange bat form here and the pad of sticky notes have been die-cut in the same shape. Each sheet is 6 inches wide so there is plenty of room to scribble out a note to stick to some leftovers or a coworker's desk.

Pusheen Mini Broom & Dustpan

This broom and dustpan set is a surprising little item for this month's box and quite useful. While it doesn't seem to have a Halloween theme to it, it does follow the teal and purple color theme. The broom is roughly 5 inches wide with purple bristles while the handle is light teal with a grey Pusheen on the front. The dustpan is light teal and has a patterned back with little grey Pusheens all over. I can see this being really handy in the kitchen or on my second floor to clean up light messes.

Witch Pusheen Color Changing Mug

I love a good cup of hot cocoa this time of year so finding this mug in the box is a win! It's solid black with Pusheen wearing a witches hat on one side and reading a book that is most likely full of spells. Once a hot liquid is poured into the mug, the words "Midnight Meowgic" appear in purple above and below our witchy kitty along with a few colorful sparkles. It holds 16 ounces of your favorite beverage and really brings spooky holiday cheer.

Pusheen Candy Jar

Another perfect item just in time for Halloween is this clear teal plastic candy jar! The front has Pusheen with some candy corn and it has a lid with round handle to keep the contents fresh. I love that it comes in a super cute box as well so that it can be gifted, but I think I'll be keeping this for myself to hold candy on my desk. It's almost five inches high and has a diameter of 4.5 inches. I'm not a fan of candy corn, but so many little candy bars (preferably Krackels) will fit in here.

Pusheen Drawstring Travel Pouch

This is an interesting travel pouch that has a design I'm not really familiar with. I think the way it works is that you fully open it up and lay it flat, then toss whatever random makeup, toiletries, etc in here, then cinch it with the two plastic drawstring pieces to collapse it around everything and velcro it shut. To me, I think I'd just want to put everything in a bag, but perhaps this has qualities I don't understand (like visibility, I suppose, as the info card mentions). It's made of nylon and has a purple and grey Pusheen pattern all over the outside. The inside has a small zipper pouch (jewelry, perhaps?) and an additional pocket on the outside, right under the velcro closure. When laid flat, it's quite large at 18" in diameter so it should hold a lot.

Bat Pusheen Hoody

This purple hoody is so incredibly adorable that I can hardly take it! I love the contrasting orange hood strings and the fact that the hood has ears and Pusheen's sweet face and markings embroidered into it. The back has little orange and purple bat wings screened onto it to make an instant costume. My box preferences are set to a size medium, but as always, this is a little big since I suspect that the sizing is unisex. I don't mind an oversized fit though and the 60% cotton, 40% polyester is quite cozy. This isn't the thickest, but it certainly is SOFT.

Candy Corn Pusheen Plushie

I know a lot of people were missing the plushies when they didn't get included in the box, so Pusheen is back in a soft candy corn form! Her little rump is weighted to keep her upright and the middle section of the candy corn stripes is a fun glittery orange fabric. This plushie is made with ultra-soft materials that make it impossible to resist petting and squishing.

Verdict: Per usual, Pusheen Box knocked this box out of the park. I'm a big fan of Halloween so this theme for Fall is just wonderful. The plushie and hoody might be my faves, and I think I'll gift a couple of items to my friend Charles who says his cat Bebe loves Pusheen. Everything in this box is exclusive which means you can't get it anywhere else (except perhaps MSA swaps, heh).

Somebody put out midnight meowgic mug in the wash and it was ruined. Is it possible to get another?

Perfect for a trip to NY for oral surgery. It was so soft and comfy and anime is everywhere.

The bag is exactly like makeup bags that I’ve seen. It allows one to open up and see all of one’s makeup clearly and then bunch it up to keep it together once one is finished. However, the possibilities are endless, as it would be perfect for toys or any number of uses.

I’m thinking of using the container for a cotton ball holder with Q tips in the center, since they sent the bathroom set several boxes ago, with a shower curtain, shower mat, and I think a hand towel or something else for the bathroom. Just a thought if anyone is looking to add for Pusheen to a bathroom already reaching Pusheen max levels.

The bag is weird and useless for me. Everything else is great but that item is a big miss for me. Maybe I’ll bundle it with some other Pusheen items on eBay.

Any update on a code that works? I just tried and it don’t. Thank you.

Reply ButtonReply

Marne Orenich

We’re so sorry Cynthia. That was, unfortunately, an old code that was only good for a limited time back in the Summer and we failed to remove it from our directory once it expired. It’s been removed to prevent future confusion.

Hi Marne, great review, thank you. Wish I’d known how awesome the hoodie was – it would’ve made me resubscribe for this box. Your adorable reviews and Pusheen-crushing are entirely responsible for my Pusheen addiction (and my daughter’s too!) You made us fall in love with our sweet girl, and we bought so much merch! And had to buy it for her friends’ birthdays too. You are entirely responsible for an entire grade of 8 year old children turning up at school with Pusheen lunchboxes and keyrings hanging off schoolbags with Pusheen plush comfort friends tucked secretly inside! As I sit sipping from my Pusheen tumbler…..

Haha OMGosh! I will now lose sleep over the crushing weight of my influence over 8-year-olds! JK. 😉 But I’m so glad you and your daughter are enjoying Pusheen as well as all of your daughter’s friends! That paints such a fun picture and makes me reminisce about my Sanrio obsession in my teens.

Amanda

The code isn’t working like others stated, tried it on annual and quarterly but no such luck.

Reply ButtonReply

Marne Orenich

Sorry to sike you out, Amanda. 🙁 That code was only available for a limited time back in Summer. We messed up and forgot to remove it before this review went up.

So sad it’s sold out! I would’ve ordered it for that hoodie alone! The little broom set is too cute! And I would find it pretty useful. I’ve not much attention to this box before but I think I’ll go back and read past reviews. I hope if I decide to order that promo code will be fixed or updated.

Jesse

The coupon doesn’t seem to be working, I put it in and it said it required an email, so I put in my email and it says it isn’t recognized. Any ideas? I’m super interested

Reply ButtonReply

Marne Orenich

So sorry, Jesse! That was an old code that we spaced on removing when it expired. Unfortunately, we don’t have a new one at this time since they’re very rare. 🙁

Barbara

I tried to use the code SPBXFREE, but it’s not working for me.
Did I miss something?

Reply ButtonReply

Marne Orenich

Oh no! Apparently, that was a rare code to get a free Spring back in the Summer that has since expired. We didn’t catch it before the review went up but it has been removed to prevent further confusion. We’re so sorry!

Barbara

Oh, I see.
I was planning to get Winter box for my teen anyway.
I hope there will be some deal coming up soon✨✨

Brenda Flowers

Me too 🙁

Just a heads up, the coupon code does not appear to be working 🙁

I am actually wearing my hoodie right now, so softttt!!!

We love our Pusheen boxes, my 5 yr old and I share the box and this one was a total hit

I have seen that style of bag in a version that is very large and designed to hold kids toys. It becomes a play mat when it is open and when it’s time to clean up, just throw everything on the mat and close the bag around the toys. So this pusheen one should make packing and unpacking easy.

Reply ButtonReply

Jeannette

For the bag, you have to scrunch it. Hold the strings and push the fabric while forming it to make a scoopable pouch. When I was done the strings were super long. So still a miss but at least it sort of functions.

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

Following the theme, if the bag was pulled up “just so” could it pass for a little soft-sided cauldron?

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

The bag is also useful for after swimming. It’s a good bag to use when packing up a wet bathing suit or small towels. Love ❤️ it!

Reply ButtonReply

Marne Orenich

Oooh- thanks for that idea, Michelle! I always need a place for my wet suit after water aerobics.

Nicole

The hoodie and mug look so cute! I’m bummed I missed out on this box!

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

LOVE THIS BOX!!! And I’m so glad they put in a plushie. Those are the best!!

Reply ButtonReply

Meow

I loved the hoodie and the plushie as well. I was also pretty obsessed with the vinyl figure this season. It looks adorbs with my purple bat from years past. The bag was also a miss for me; I literally have no clue as to how to use it. This box is still amazing though. I keep wanting to cancel and I just can’t. It’s the longest running subscription that I have-been with them since box #2. I sadly missed the first one.

I have convinced myself that the dust pan and brush are a tiny witch’s broomstick. ;-). Maybe a really small kitty, so not Pusheen, could get this bad boy to fly.

I am so confused by this bag. I have seen make up (or even Lego or other toys) bag that have a similar design but they seem to have drawstrings that close so you shouldn’t lose your stuff. I have no idea what I am going to do with this bag.

That being said. Love this sub. I never need any of their stuff but I love most if not all of their items.

Mona

The broom and dust pan are perfect for sweeping litter mess from around the litter box if you have a cat. I keep one by each litter box and they’re very handy

Reply ButtonReply

Marne Orenich

Hehehe!! “A tiny witch’s broomstick” !! Dying!
That bag tho. 🤔

This is what i thought too so that it really was a Halloween themed item

pinkhoo

I loved the box this month but the paint came off the mug already. Still better than the summer box.

Reply ButtonReply

Marne Orenich

Ugh! Noooo! That stinks. 🙁 Was this with regular handwashing?

Reply ButtonReply

pinkhoo

Probably not. My husband does the dishes. We always ignore hand wash only, tbh, because if it can’t survive the dishwasher it doesn’t have a place in our busy lives and really, not on the planet since hand washing uses more water and doesn’t get things as sanitary. The winter Pusheen mug from some other box has done fine in the dishwasher.

Jeannette

Best Pusheen box ever. Hard to pick a favorite item. But I think I’ll have to go with the Post-its. They weren’t very sticky, but they are super adorable!! Sadly they sent me the wrong size hoodie. It’s huge on me, but plan on washing in hot water to try to shrink it a bit.

Meow

If you contact Pusheen box CS they might be able to send you one in the correct size. They had to resend something for me once.🎃
