Ugh – cancelled subscription. Sleek is worse than kids makeup. This subscription has gone downhill in recent months (as had their sister subscription box GlossyBox which I had already cancelled). It (they) used to be a great value and had many high end products and 1-2 full sized items – but now it’s hardly worth a ‘meh’. Boxycharm, on the other hand, as well as Ipsy, have continued to up their game. I do like the actual boxes though but not work the money for a box.

Apparently, the full December box contains:
Eylure London Fluttery Light Lashes #117 with adhesive $4.99

Sleek Cosmetics Eye Design Palette in Au Natural $12.99

Eyeko Mini Eyeliner $12.00

Bumble and bumble Invisible Oil UV Protective Primer 30ml (2oz/ $13.00) $6.50

Prai Platinum Firm Lift Creme ($38/50ml) 10ml $7.60

Real Chemistry 3 Minute Peel 20ml $24.00

Personally, I was hoping for a hero item and are better December box, but such is life. I am looking forward to trying the Prai product. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Hmmm, agree with Deanne that it’s not likely to be on anyone’s Wishlist, and I don’t recognise the colours in this particular palette. But I will say, that even though the quality can vary between … er … variations (!) of Sleek palettes, you’re just as likely to pick up one of their awesome ones (great pigmentation, good coverage, low fallout) as one of the duds. They can actually be great palettes if you get the better ones. I say this as fan of Natasha Denona, Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury (among others). I’m in no way easy to please when it comes to palettes.

That’s a weird low quality inclusion that is guaranteed to get nobody height for the December box!

I have received this palette twice in GlossyBox. It’s not only difficult to use, but the pigmentation leaves a lot to be desired. It looks exactly the same, except I don’t remember mine having that cheezy brush included, lol.

Is it a SLEEK palette?, so my answer is NO, thank you

Not a fan of sleek. Chalky with zero pigment. :\

One caveat: I received a travel-size Sleek eyeshadow palette in a Target beauty box some months ago, and the setup looks the same in this picture. The catch to open the palette is not user-friendly! I have no nails, so I had a grab tweezers or nail scissors to force it open every time. I remember that another user commented on this issue at the time that the box was reviewed, and she reported having the same experience. So arm yourself with tweezers if you have a nice manicure you don’t want to ruin! Pigmentation wasn’t stellar, either.
