I got a fold out card in the mail advertising this subscription with a $20 off coupon. But- the contents aren’t what I’ve seen here in the reviews.

Can anyone tell me if this is an Artisan November box, or a ” new subscriber” box?

1) Moroccan Mezzo Plate ( $50 RV they say).

2) Bamboo Food Tent ( $30 value )—- this seems to be a summer season item to me

3) Chindi Bread Basket ( $20 value)

4) Stainless Steel Spreader- ( $10 value) This is a cheese knife/ spreader and likely we all have them.

5) Hot Drops for Chili ( $13 value)- The bottle says it’s fermented.

Then, on the back, there’s a woven tote that looks like an oval box with handles. Cute but not at all sure it’s part of the box.

They are offering this for $33 the brochure says for new customers. I’ve never subscribed to the box.

I’d like to know if this is a leftovers box, a box of brand new items, or maybe GlobeIn favorites?

Any help is greatly appreciated as I’d like it but not if it was a sale box. YKWIM.

Thanks,
Lily

Oh, wow. The animal pillow seems more for a very young child and not worth 25 dollars. I’m sorry to sound hateful, but is this really a curated box or just a bunch of junk that GlobeIn gets dirt cheap?

The sub is based on the ideal that the items are not “dirt cheap” like the junk you would find at mass retailers because Globein partners with artisans to make things by hand and get paid fair wages.

I get what you’re saying, but $50 for a mug, a wooden stick, a small stuffed toy and some hot chocolate mix? If the plate or the tray were part of the box then I could see the value. This doesn’t feel like a premium box with that pillow in it. And it’s the most expensive item in the box! I’m confused!

Starting to be so annoyed that I let my annual renew. Most of the time the items in the photo are the items in the box so showing that tray and not including it is so disappointing. With it being just one mug the box already feels like it’s missing something so it’s just a huge nope.

So agree. I was about to subscribe for the 1st time & that is such junk. Nothing coordinates – no matching tray & that pillow I could improve upon at Marshall’s. Ugh. I read that BarkBox which started in 2012 went 5 years not turning a profit & now they have 600,000 subscribers. That is right, they built a reputation on quality & then were able to scale to incredible profit b/c of their buying power with enormous subscriber #s. That’s a model I can get behind.

I agree! Both the tray and the plate being in the pic, but not the box, is a huge con to me

Wish the tray was included in this one. I love it !Its has all the colors and gold trim that I’ve been looking for

Not thrilled with this box and went to cancel but, alas, my subscription just renewed last week. *sigh* Hope there will be some good alternatives.

Mary, you can skip a month! I do this regularly, and don’t get charged again until my “three month” subscription (which actually ends up being more like three months spread over six months) is up. You can find the option to skip under the “My Subscription” tab.

I didn’t know that. Thank you so much!
