I took a chance and just joined the wizarding world crate. The tile ball won’t ship until November but I ordered a welcome box. Got it in 15 days so they may be getting better. No complaints from me so far!

I just received my Toybox Loot for Her. The little brochure in the bag shows a Jem asymmetrical tank as the item. Instead, I received two umbrellas – Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The kind you can get at Walmart for a couple of bucks. No explanation in the package or via email.

I have been subscribed to LootWear since June and have yet to receive a SINGLE shipment!! Every time I look at the shipment updates, they are pushed back another MONTH!! I emailed them regarding this, and asked specifically about my FIRST shipment that has had a FedEx label for weeks now but hasn’t begun shipping! They sent an automated response (apparently, as in no way did they answer my questions I was specific about), and one that is complete lies…as if I didn’t KNOW the reason for the delays and really? You “recently” figured out the problem??!! Ummm these lies make me want to grab my money back now. Here is what they responded, and by the way, the link to “how would you rate our response” doesn’t work or was deleted!

Thanks for contacting us. Let me first begin by offering our sincere apologies for this delay and any inconvenience or undue frustration it has caused. This is absolutely not the kind of experience we want our subscribers to have, and I’m very sorry for any frustration it has caused.

This has not been a situation where we waited until now to explain the cause of the delay; when subscribers contact us our agents provide the most up to date information, and it was only recently that our fulfillment team was able to determine the root cause of these delays. As a result, our teams are working as quickly and as efficiently as possible to resolve these issues and we are doing everything we can to get the crates out the door.

Believe me when I say we are just as frustrated with how this process has unfolded and we have already begun adopting new procedures and failsafes at both our warehouses to be able to prevent this from happening again in the future. I have likewise shared your feedback with our management and fulfillment teams, respectively, for further review and consideration as we implement these new procedures.

Once again our apologies; please let us know if we can be of any additional assistance and we will be happy to help.

Thank you.

This is my 2nd and final try with lootcrate. I have now read somewhere that they have filed for bankruptcy and are either in the pre-transition phase or are in the middle of a takeover or merger of some kind.. I hope this saves them, as this was a really novel and fun idea.. So my first experience was with lootvault, buying Oct ’18’s frightcrate on like Nov. 3rd because I’d seen what was in it, and got a promo code from DeadMeat channel making it a decent buy… well, i received it finally in May of this year… Thinking perhaps this 2nd time that buying ahead of time on a reg crate 1 month sub (in this instance the Oct 2019 Deadish theme reg Loot Crate.) It was purchased on Sept. 26th. Now isn’t it cute that the estimated shipping info remained at “oct 20-oct 30th” until i believe the date of October 24th came around and all the sudden it was pushed back to Nov 20-Nov 30th. So the whole point was that i wanted the darn thing for Halloween and NOPE. Don’t tell me lootcrate did not know ahead of time that those crates were never gunna ship out during that end of october timeframe n yes, it does feel like a set-up. I thought maybe i’d be safe with ordering their MAIN CRATE product, alas I was mistaken. The only reason i even considered this is because I truly did enjoy the contents of the previous and only crate i ever ordered, even if it did come like more than 6 mos late.. Now that ive read all this stuff about them going under as a company, I feel stupid. Lemme tell ya, that Deadish crate better ship out by Nov. 30th with valid tracking info, or im gunna make a nightmare for them via the BBB and FCC if a request for refund isnt immediately obliged. This is dishonest, don’t continue to sell products you cannot fulfill. I mean heck, they could have at least taken a break n been honest n said “hey, our company is screwed, but stay tuned, we’re gunna try and salvage this situation.” And work on getting ppl their back orders prior to soliciting new stuff they can’t get out in any timely manner.

I’m seriously ready to file a complaint of my own. I cancelled because of not receiving shipments and not getting replies to my emails, and they still charged my card! As I signed up for the three month sub, I forget about it until either a charge appears or a random shirt appears in the mailbox. I’ve paid for nine months; received two.

It sucks because I have used LC as birthday gifts etc. The kids love them.

I was dumbstruck yesterday when I received a Loot Fright box….I think it was originally supposed to be delivered in July or August….probably even sooner. I love everything in the box and hope to eventually get the remaining boxes on my subscription.

I’m still waiting for like 6 shipments of socks… *sigh*

Their whole scheme for updated shipping info on your account page is BS.

I only got refunded for crates I purchased back in February that still haven’t shipped for others by filing fraud charges with the fcc regarding online retailers and opening a complaint with the BBB. The BBB complaint was when they finally agreed to refund me after refusing to after 50+ emails (a violation of the law to not issue a refund if an item hasn’t been received within 30+ days of purchase).

At this point I hope they fully crash and burn before more people lose money with them.

Did not know they even had a Lord of the Rings crate. Too bad they just aren’t hanging in as a company. I think they added too many crates and lost sight of staying afloat.
