Her products are now available at Sephora so you can try getting samples of them there.
Like any other products in advent calendars or subscription boxes, you are paying for the name and the nice curation (there are only so many ways to make a toner or blush). If you can afford it, go for it. I think like this about some expensive (at least to me) Advent calendars/subscription boxes – it all depends on what you are willing to pay for.

The ingredient lists for these products are nothing special… Your paying for a name. The ingredients are no different than other cheaper brands. I would never buy this brand even at half off. It’s just not for me I guess…

I always read the ingredient list. I always keep in mind that skin is designed to keep the stuff out, not absorb anything and everything you choose to slap on it. I prefer air-tight opaque pump bottles. I don’t spend a lot of money on my skin care, but just pick whatever works for my skin type. I don’t expect any miracles, because I know that none are available. I keep my skin moisturized and protected from the sun. I WILL age, but I take the best possible care of my skin and body: I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I try to move around and be outside as much as I can. I try to eat healthily. The rest depends on genetics.

Great advice Emilia!

Still can’t believe anyone would actually buy this for this ridiculous price. I think I saw this same brand for the same price last year and said the same thing.

At that price, this better come with a DeLorean so I can go back in time and be young again. 😏

Wow, at that price I would expect that these products actually make me 20 years old again.

Holy Gingersnaps! While I love the idea of being able to try the little sizes of a luxe brand, this would mean half the people on my holiday list this year would get sample rejects as presents. I’m going to do some research on this brand wonder if there’s a chance this will go on sale,

This is a very LUXE brand that is very expensive that I usually see at high end retailers I haven’t had the pleasure to try her products yet because of the price and I wish that it would turn up in any subs.

On around March/April 2019 (I forgot the exact time) their 2018 Advent Calendar was on 50% sale at net-a-porter.
In net-a-porter’s previous kit (which is now sold out: $90 for $500+ worth product) which MSA posted, they also had Dr. Barbara Sturm product in it.
In case it happened again, if you want to try her product, you could watch those.

I had the opportunity to try her products through those kits. I think her products are overrated and overpriced. Check out the ingredient lists–her formulas are hardly revolutionary. If I was going to spend that kind of money I would buy the Bader cream.

Holy moly that’s expensive.

Has this brand been in any boxes before? Ive never heard of it. Is this one of those small brands with a cult following?

I have received her products in Net a Porter kits before and they are amazing. They are super expensive and yes it is a brand that is used by celebrities and has a cult following/status.
