Tribe Beauty Box August 2019 Review
Bellápierre HD Setting Spray, 2.46 oz – Retail Value $30.00
I love setting sprays! They really are truly magnificent and an important step to my makeup routine. I live in south Texas and setting spray helps my makeup stay in place all day long. This spray is weightless and does what I expect it to do. My makeup looks flawless and freshly applied at 7 pm, after I have taken my kids to school, worked a full day, battled traffic and the grocery store and have cooked over a hot oven. This particular bottle is currently sitting with my other favorite setting spray, my UD All-Nighter.
Cargo Cosmetics Powder Blush in Laguna , 0.31 oz - Retail Value $26.00
When I saw the spoilers, I knew to expect a bold color and was hoping for this one. My skin tone fares well with orange hues, but even though I was hoping for this one, actually seeing the bold color is a bit intimidating. It is highly pigmented and goes on the same. I lightly ran my blush brush over the tin, blew away extra color and gently applied to my cheekbones. I love the color! And this is a pretty big tin so it will definitely last longer than it is intended to.
theBalm Neutral Eyeshadow Primer, 0.11 oz – Retail Value $12.00
Another makeup crutch, I never, ever apply eye shadow without a primer. Before I discovered eyeshadow primer, my shadow would crack, smear or just melt by lunchtime leaving my makeup looking sloppy and lazy. Eyeshadow primer really brings out the color of the shadow I am wearing, helps create a soft, even look and keeps my eyeshadow on for hours. This color is neutral and doesn’t alter the color I choose to wear. I like the packaging; it is small and square vs the tube I am used to and it's half the price of my cult fave. I will probably continue using this brand – it works just as well!! I am extra curious about the black primer this brand has to offer, though.
Cas Cosmetics Luxe Lip Treatment in Andromeda, 0.28 oz – Retail Value $17.99
First, I want to talk about this gorgeous shade! The color I received is Andromeda and is a bronze color with golden specs. This gloss also has collagen infused inside the formula to help plump out lips. When I applied this gloss, I immediately admired its color and of course its stickiness (it is a gloss) but I didn’t see any plumpiness. Plump or not, I love the color and love this gloss!
Ruby May #Series Palettes – Retail Value $24.99 each
Wow! Tribe released some teasers earlier this month that showed the 3 different palettes that could be sent in this month’s box. Subscribers got the option to choose between any 3 in their profile. I was lucky enough to be sent all 3 for review purposes and I am ecstatic because there was no way I could choose! These colors are bright, bold and amazing! Each palette features 8 shades to create amazing looks!

Out of these colors, 3 are glittery and 5 are matte. If I had to choose a favorite shade from this palette it would be #snatched.

Verdict: Tribe Beauty is killing it! The products, the value, the curation is just awesome. This month’s box, like other months, has a product for different parts of the face: cheek, eye, face, lip. I love that they send products that you can use in one look. The shadows they sent this month are bold and bright and so out of my comfort zone but I love that! This box allows me to try different looks that I end up loving and will keep wearing. Altogether, the value of this month’s box is $110.98 which almost triples the cost of the box. I also love that this is a bi-monthly sub. Makeup lovers can subscribe and get amazing products without being thrown into an overload too quickly.
