Sephora Favorites: Give Me More Lip Review

I squealed upon seeing this collection because I am SUCH a lippie freak. Truth be told, I already owned three of these products, but they're ones I love so I was still excited to try them all!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria, FULL SIZE 0.12 oz. - Retail Value $34.00

So very pleased with this being one of the full-size products in the collection! I hadn't tried Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks before but now I can see why this has such a beefy price tag. "Very Victoria" is a gorgeous rose nude with a (and my preferred) matte finish that feels velvety soft. It has great staying power and my lips don't feel dry or cakey at all. I also happen to think the packaging is classy as all get out and has a terrific weight to it. I simply love this color on and I can see it being my new go-to.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Flamingo Acid, 0.035 oz. - Estimated Value $10.50 (Buy the full size for $18.00)

I have another Fenty lipstick that I haven't worn much but it's from a different line than this one. The plush matte we have here has a great pop of color though, just like the one I have. I was not expecting to like this deep raspberry shade but as soon as I put it on, I loved it. Since I live to try new lipsticks, these small sizes are perfect because a whole full-size tube will take ages for me to get through. It's a little dry going on, but the bold pigment is worth it and it stays put.

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in 96 Red Velvet, 0.08 oz. - Estimated Value $6.63 (Buy the full size for $14.00)

In addition to nudes, I also go for deep dark reds if I want a bolder look. This shade is perfect for my cool skin tone and it reminds me of my beloved Kat Von D liquid matte lipstick. Once on, it will not move at all and can even withstand a meal. It does feel a little dry after hours of wear, but nothing a little balm or a fresh layer won't remedy.

Too Faced Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Long Wear Lipstick Peaches and Cream Collection in Sex On The Peach, 0.035 oz. - Estimated Value $5.25 (Buy the full-size for $21.00)

Oh yes yes yes. THIS is a great color for me! I often turn to taupes for everyday lip color and this one is just divine! The formula is really creamy and it smells like a sugary peach. I really dig its almost violet undertones which I think is great for my coloring. It's really similar to the Charlotte Tilbury color, just with a bit more blue than pink. Oooh, I love it!

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 Sugar Rosé Tinted, 0.07 oz. - Estimated Value $11.20 (Buy the full size for $24.00)

Fresh's Sugar lip treatment is a classic for balm lovers who want a little tint. If I'm not mistaken, this was their first color and I've bought it many many times as well as some of the non-tinted versions. This mini stick is perfect to shove in a front pocket when heading out and you don't need a full makeup look. It smells like lemon which I find refreshing and yummy. I think this one is a solid staple and I'm happy to see it in the collection.

Here are all of the lipsticks with color swatched on my hand. Top to bottom: Fresh Sugar, Too Faced, Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty, and Sephora.

INC.redible Roller Baby Lip Gloss in Choose Your Happy, FULL SIZE 0.246 oz. - Retail Value $10.00

This INC.redible lip gloss is the other full-size product in the kit and a new brand to me. Although a lot of the "most helpful" reviews on Sephora's website for this aren't very favorable, I find this gloss to be way more my speed than most. I usually find lip gloss to be way too sticky and my hair gets stuck to it which I hate. This rollerball is an interesting move for a thicker product like this, but I find the small amount that is distributed way helpful. I don't want my lips drenched in thick syrup and this rollerball does a great job of giving me just enough. Although it's a little tricky to get the hang of it I was able to get the product flowing after a few swipes. The gloss is enriched with coconut oil and is a nice middle ground between an oil and a gloss, giving my lips hydration and shine. I'm a fan!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, 3 g - Estimated Value $3.00 (Buy the full size for $20.00)

I've been able to try several Laneige products lately and this is one of them. I got the exact same size as a free gift in a semi-recent Sephora order which I was excited about because I almost bought the $20 full-size version before trying. This is a really thick glossy mask to put on your lips before heading to bed to moisturize your kisser while you sleep. Personally, I think this deluxe size is more than enough to get started with and made me decide not to take the plunge on the full size. I've been using it for a month or so and have barely made a dent in how much is left. Like many lip masks, this didn't really change my life, but it feels really luxurious and over time may help chapped lips, especially come winter. This version also has a delicious berry scent.

Milk Makeup Kush Lip Balm in Green Dragon, 0.05 oz. - Estimated Value $8.00 (Buy the full size for $16.00)

The last lip product in this collection is another one that I've used in the past. I bought the full-= size when it first came out because I'm a fan of Milk Makeup and wanted to try all of their Kush products. This smells (and tastes) really great with a light peppermint scent and feels super duper moisturizing. There's a slight tingle to it and it keeps my lips looking and feeling slightly plumped and kissable. This mini is great for my purse but I do miss the satisfying magnet closure that the full-size tube has.

The Verdict: I am 100% in love with the Sephora Favorites: Give Me More Lip collection! I found every shade and product to be super dreamy and they included some really popular products and brands. I don't mind only receiving two full-size items because even the deluxe samples will give me more than enough wear. It's a little on the pricey side but this is the perfect collection for the person interested in new lip products or a seasoned veteran like me who can't get enough. The total estimated retail value of the eight products in this box is $88.58 which is almost double the $47.95 cost (or more than if you got free shipping). It's like buying the two full-size products (which I really like both of) and getting six samples for free.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you order today? Yes, this kit is still available!

Value Breakdown: At $47.95 ($42 + $5.95 shipping) for this kit, here's what you're paying per item:

  • LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask $1.62
  • Milk Makeup KUSH Lip Balm $4.33
  • fresh Sugar Lip Treatment $6.06
  • INC.redible Roller Baby Lip Gloss $5.41
  • SEPHORA COLLECTION Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick $3.59
  • Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick $18.40
  • FENTY BEAUTY Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick $5.68

Oh, I hope this goes on sale. 🤞🏻 I would love to have the Charlotte Tilbury and Too Face lipsticks, but I don’t wear red lipsticks, so those two are useless to me. I’d use the balms but don’t need them. Can’t justify paying full price.

I’ve been noticing a lot of the older Faves on sale eventually. Hopefully it happens for this one too!

I want this kit so badly even though I have an obscene amount of lip products already. My lip product collection grew to embarrassingly massive in just the past year. There is no way I will ever make my way through it all, I have every color I could possibly need and the truth is Aquaphor works better for curing my chapped peeling picked lips than any other treatment I’ve ever tried. But I still want to buy this. 🤦‍♀️

Mim & Debbie, we have the same affliction. That’s another reason I don’t mind deluxe sample lipsticks. I don’t think I’ve EVER used an entire tube (balms are different), so I’d rather have a smaller one to try. I also find it funny that I keep buying the same color over and over in different brands. Like, what is my problem? I cannot help myself!

Same, Mim. Same. I have plenty of lip products and love my tube of Carmex. But I can’t keep away from these kits! 😂

Marne, I don’t see a swipe of the Milk Makeup Green Dragon? Is it just a tint or seriously green? Thanks.

It goes on completely clear! That’s why no swatch for that one. Smells yum tho!

I want this set so badly but the price feels a little high. I need it to be $10 cheaper and then I could justify it. 🙂

DocN

I don’t know. The 28$ lip sets have been including 2 full size products. So getting only 2 fill size products in a 42$ set sounds shady to me. I’ll wait for a sale.

Sorry, you lose me at “squeal” or “squee”. It’s utterly lost its appeal.

Lighten up, Francis.

Omg, great line! I love that movie, haha.

Megan

Well what an ironic comment since you lost everyones appeal here. Don’t troll on Marge.

I, personally, find Marne’s upbeat writing so refreshing and fun to read. I’m sorry you can’t look past one word in an entire post. Like your mama always told you, if you don’t have anything nice to say, move on sister.

What a nice box! A tad tempting, but fortunately for me lip products aren’t a product type that I don’t mind having crazy amounts of backups of (like skincare 😉 ). Marne, you’re so lucky you can get away with keeping those Fresh balms in your pocket… they always melt on me whenever I keep them in my pocket 🙁 so now I just keep them in my desk at work for little touch ups. 🙂

Michele

Please dont put any fresh lip product in your pocket. They melt extreme easy. Major draw back for me. I use the treatment at night. Keep it next to my bed, so no chance in melting. And its way better than any lip mask.

Luna

Oh ya, I learned REALLY quick that putting a Fresh lip product in my pocket wasn’t a good idea. lol I now keep them in my desk at work to use when I feel I need a bit of color added to my lips (without having to use a mirror 😉 ).

Marne Orenich

Oh, they usually aren’t in there for too long. Because they’re so small they just are easy to jam into the front of my jeans before stepping out of the house. They eventually end up in my purse to join the other 10 lipsticks that are always in there. 😉
