I also still have the oil left, along with others. I subscribed to five other beauty boxes, but cancelled out, as I was getting quite a stash – especially oil products that usually don’t work well with my skin type. I am keeping my Pearlesque subscription, but will definitely skip this one.

Girls, I just wanted to share my personal experience. I only use oils for my face. I struggled with combination/oily skin all my life – always staying far away from oil at ll. Then I read a number of articles explaining how pure oil regulates your skin and it’s sebum production. While oil-free and many acne/blemish products have ingredients to try to stifle sebum production, that actually encourages skin to produce more… in a rather eradic manner because the skin is confused. Using straight oil is so much more like our skin’s sebum.

I switched to oils several years ago and my skin has never been better. If I feel I need more intense moisture in the winter I melt some shea or mango butter and blend that with my oil. More butter makes it more of a heavy cream while more oil makes it similar to a moisturizer/lotion. I use this same method to make my own hand and body cream, and sometimes for a creamy scrub.

This is a fabulous way to use all these oils and see wonderful results in your skin. Additionally – use them for your hair as an overnight mask or lightly as a smoother during the day. The argan oil used for hair treatments is the same argan oil used for the face, for example.

One other tip: if, after 5-10 minutes your face seems oily, just pat it with a clean dry washcloth or even tissue. By that time your skin has absorbed all it needs and anything “hanging” around is extra.

I haven’t tried this before but I’m a bit nervous about the lavender. Not only do I dislike the smell, it also irritates my face if it’s too strong. I’ll have to wait and see what other products will be included.

Hmm… that was featured in last year’s Pearlesque Box too. The oil is lovely, but I’m disappointed to see a repeat product. With all the oils we get in this box I find it hard to use up my stash. I still have half a bottle left of the last one we got.

Hmmm, I didn’t remember that, but now that you mention it, that’s true. I will skip next month then.

Me too! It is a great product, but I don’t need another one.

Would love to hear if anyone has use this. How strong is the smell? I feel face oils take forever to use up which would be great if I didn’t have so many items. : ) Also I don’t like using right before bed because it gets on my pillow case.

Cassandra, I find that oils take so long to use up because you only need like three drops! As they age out, I begin using them in an unscented lotion which helps but I keep an nose on the smell. I have some go-to oils but I hear ya!!!!
