Now, on to the items!

Tropical Matte Eyeshadow in 'Bermuda', 2 g – Retail Value $9.00

Wow, I love this color! It is so different from anything else I have and I give it extra points for being matte. It feels almost like dark wash denim in terms of color, but the texture is smooth as butter and richly pigmented. It also has a little smoked lilac happening in there in different lighting conditions that add to its beauty IMO. While I would balk away from using this on my whole lid, I love it as a wet liner. It is also totally in line with the more sophisticated '90s-inspired shades happening this season.

Love, love, love!

Love Byrd Tinted Lip Balm 'Pucker', 8 g – Retail Value $8.00

This was *almost* a perfect nude gloss for me. I need just a little more pink because unless I have on a lot of makeup already, it washes me out. The texture is great and it makes my lips feel so soft. I did have success layering it on top of some of my favorite lipsticks. It toned down my bolder shades and was especially great layered with matte lipsticks.

I wish it were just a shade pinker.

Eye Dust in 'Magma', 1.5 g – Retail Value $8.00

If "fall" was eye dust, it would be this shade. This is the color of rust, burnt leaves, and the richness of the holidays. I swatched a ton of it below but you can also use it sparingly for a more subtle look. I also mixed some of this with a clear gloss for a metallic lippy!

Burnt fall goodness!

Here it is on my lips. I applied a thicker clear gloss and patted the dust on top, rubbing my lips together to mix.

Eye Makeup Remover, 4 fl oz – Retail Value $12.00

Our last item is a bottle of eye makeup remover that smells like chamomile! Although it is very gentle, it didn't easily remove some of my more heavy-duty makeup, mainly my eyebrow products. I still think this is a nice formula for lighter makeup looks.

Verdict: This month's Medusa's Make-Up Beauty Box has a value of $37.00 and had some really good stuff this month! I am very happy with both the eyeshadow and the eye dust, though the dust is totally going to happen more often on my lips. I also really liked the formula of the balm, though ideally, I would want a different shade. The gentle eye makeup remover was another nice addition and it works really well for removing my normal level of makeup without feeling heavy or oily.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

LOVE that lipgloss you whipped up on you! And as usual your lashes look AMAZING!!! I’m excited to try your lipgloss idea because I really hate loose eyeshadow (I ALWAYS manage to make a mess all over my face) but I have a few really pretty ones (mostly from this particular subscription box I used to subscribe to) stashed away in case I ever felt patient enough to use them. I’m psyched to find a different, less messy way to wear them. You have so many great ideas and suggestions! Thanks for another one!

That eye shadow and eye dust are both gorgeous! Call me crazy but I think they would be good together- like purple up to the crease and a halo of the burnt rusty color.
