Gentleman's Box September 2019 “American Rocker" Review

Included in our box was an issue of the Gentleman's Post which is basically a booklet that describes the theme for the month and highlights the items included in our box. I love the artwork for this month's booklet! This month's box is in honor of their favorite American Rocker, Lenny Kravitz.

Windsor Tie Co. Tie - Listed Value $29
Let me just say, I am loving the colors in this month's box! Fall is my favorite season and also when my husband and I got married with burnt orange and brown as our wedding colors so both of us were big fans of this color scheme! This tie is a beautiful color and super shiny with a fun textured weave and some small blue dots. I think this would pair nicely with either a brown or blue suit!

Sock Fancy Socks - Listed Value $12
These socks are pretty bright and fun and come from Sock Fancy (check out our reviews of their monthly subscription). I love the complementary colors paired with that bit of heather gray to balance it out. They are made from combed cotton, polyester, nylon and a little bit of spandex.

I think they look pretty nice on! They might be a bit bright, but I still think they will do for work socks.

Honorable Beast Scarf - Listed Value $35.00
This scarf is nice and thin making it a great accent piece and very fitting of our rocker honoree, although I think his tend to be a bit on the longer, thicker side! This 100% acrylic one is perfect for my husband though and will look nice for work when the weather gets cooler. I really love the colors and simple plaid pattern.

Gent Life Business Card Holder - Listed Value $15.00
This was my husband's favorite item this month because it is something incredibly useful that he does not already have. This provides a professional-looking accessory for him to tote around when he is networking at conferences and such, something that he actually does fairly often. He likes the sleek look of the metal with the soft brown cover. It holds quite a few cards as well.

Honorable Beast Bracelet - Listed Value $20.00
This last item is not quite my husband's style, but I thought it looked nicer on him than either of us thought it would. I think it's a nice bracelet, but I think we will be passing this along to someone else since he won't get much use out of it. The wooden beads are nice quality, and they are on a simple elastic band to give it a little stretch.
Verdict: This month's Gentleman’s Box had some great colors throughout! My husband really liked the tie, scarf and the business card holder, which he has already put to good use. The socks will come in handy and while the bracelet wasn't for him, I think it still fit in nicely with the box theme and color scheme. My husband was happy with the quality of the items he received and will definitely get a lot of use out of most items! The total listed value of our box came to $111 which is great for a $29 box!
