Are they all samples? Why are the eye colors metallic? I just subscribed and wish I hadn’t. That is the tiniest little moisturizer I’ve ever seen!!!!!!!

You do get more samples than full size but at least one and maybe two are full size. For $15 I think it’s the best deal around! Give it a try, maybe you’ll like it! ; ))

I’m quite excited about this box, which is the first time I’ve said that for a while with Allure. No way to please everyone, apparently, and some people are just never pleased, no matter what.

YUK !! Model and company I have tons of those from sub boxes, All I care for is SR . Wish they can get rid of all those cheap fillers model & company, eyedrops , bath salt , really Allure ?? where’s the new and prestigious , break through company who deals with high end make-up and breaking trends? You send this mess of products – it’s actually insulting
Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream- YES 2 Full SIZE , like when they sent Full size CEO oil ( when they were actually a good sub) but doubt Full Size now
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream- too sweet of a smell for me
M-61 PowerGlow Peel- blah
Model Co Eyelites in Granite (Silver)* – Boring / cheap
Model Co Metallic Eyeshadow Trio in St. Tropez. (Brown – full size)* – Boring/Cheap wow who cares really full size LMAO
Kneipp Mineral Bath Salt in Dream Away – Nope boring filler
Bausch + Lomb LUMIFY Eye Dropsever use in m eyes – those eyedrops sitting in a factory and heat here in the west No thanks

@Brittney, are you sure the SR ICE is the full size? It seems like that’s the saving grace for this box. Want a confirmation before going through with this box.

Allure just released a video. The Sunday Riley is s tiny sample size. Bummer.

Did Jessica Chia do her Allure product reveal video yet? That’s how I figure out the actual product sizes, and if want to keep or skip that month!

Has anyone seen what the size of the Bum Bum Cream is? Since the box has a $75 value, the value of the SR and Bum Bum are around $26 if the value of the eye drops ($10 for 2.5oz) are included in the $75 value.

Donwe know the size on the Sunday Riley? I want to try it but dont really want anything else in the box and want to make sure the value is there.

Your Friends @MSA
Awesome question Jamie! The Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream is 1.7 ounces.
Reply
Anna
Can you clarify your comment MSA?
Ali
Wait – we are getting the 1.7 oz in this box?
Anna
MSA,
Is that confirmed by Allure, I have the full size and this container looks different.
Del
But the overall box value is $75, so it couldn’t be the full size
A.Miller
Ugh I’m not into this box. How do I cancel before I receive it? I just got the allure best of allure box and wasnt thrilled with that box either. I sent an email about cancelling and never heard back from them.

If I order through Amazon now, will I get the October box? They haven’t updated the picture/products from Sept.

Thanks! I am not really into the September box.

It is nice to see a bonus item like old times (but I cannot use it because I wear contact lenses and it is not recommended). I expect that we receive eye products in beauty boxes, but 2 eye shadows from same brand in one box? Provided we received the same eye shadow trio in different colors in previous box, it feels…. come on Allure, bring back the old curator! And include items from Best of Beauty you have just posted! Ok, I don’t usually complain… my rant over, lol.

I agree it definitely is an odd curation. Two eyeshadow products, 2 moisturizers, bath salts, eye drops, etc. Like what is going on here? I miss when they had products that correlated and made sense together like the assorted face mask box, a box to create an entire makeup look, etc. Not this random hodgepodge of stuff.

What is wrong with the Lumify? I suffer from awful allergies and have been through 5 bottles so far. I sure hate suffering from red eyes, but it certainly isn’t worth using if it is going to damage my eyes, so please do tell. Thanks.

What a bizarrely curated box. Other than the Sunday Riley, this all feels like leftovers. I’m almost certain the Model Co. products were supposed to be color variants for February and May. If I liked Bum Bum cream the value might be there for me, but as it is literally the only thing that appeals is the Sunday Riley. I cancelled for October.

What!? What did you get then? What did they send you & did you email them? That sucks girl!
Annika
Yay. I’m always happier when I get a new eye color or lip color to try out each month (both is even better). I know ModelCo isn’t favored by everyone but I really enjoyed the other trio we got until I busted the lid. Not all the colors I’ve received have been the best for me, but it’s forced me to go out of my comfort zone and experiment to make it work. My makeup skills have improved considerably since doing beauty boxes. I still haven’t received the September box. Kind of hoping for the Nars lip over the powder. I’m afraid the powder will make me look old(er).

I really would like the powder, but got the Nars lip crayon. I would love to do a trade with someone who wants the Nars.

Yak, nope, not for me. Enough with ModelCo already. Got shadow trio in a previous Allure box. I know different colors, but still. Don’t want this cheap made in China shadow. And of course the Eyelites were in a recent box. This box started out so strong. I liked the first 3 spoilers, however, it’s all down hill from there.

I also don’t want anything made in China anywhere near my eyes. I don’t know why Allure is foisting all this ModelCo stuff on us now when I swear there was a ton of it at my local TJ Maxx years ago. Nobody is talking about the brand, they aren’t groundbreaking nor are the products all that interesting. If they want to include cheap makeup, I’d rather have Allure include Essence because at least their stuff is made in Europe. I’d pick something made in Italy (for example) versus China ten out of ten times.

I actually really loved the last trio we got from Model Co. It was a good selection of shades to throw in my purse for an easy look to apply in the car, and the pigmentation was great. They are also really smooth. I don’t know anything about the brand, but based on the one we got before I assumed it was a nicer one I just hadn’t heard of.

I am so so excited for the new Sunday Riley Ice Cream!!! I also love those eye drops too, they are the first ones that last me at least 12 hours, and they never once burned my eyes like Visine or Clear Eyes does. That being said… I don’t want any more ModelCo. I can’t even give it to any of my friends because they don’t want it either. I don’t want to trash them… maybe I’ll donate them to a nearby shelter.

AH
Ugh…we are going to end up with every shade of eyelites and eyeshadow trios from ModelCo.
Bum bum and Ice are the saving grace for this box, but they’re guaranteed to be small. I hope the bum bum is the 2 oz size and not the 0.85 but I’m worried the $20 2 oz won’t fit in the normal box. The 0.85 is ridiculously small and laughable (Sephora Play sent me one before and I didn’t even know that small of a sample of bum bum existed.

Me neither!!!!! My husband & I love them! Plus, these drops have been clinically tested, they were prescription drops before becoming OTC & I’ve NEVER heard of them damaging the eye!!!!! Rumors…sometimes I flash back to high school when I read some of these comments! It’s a $15 box, not Ipsy or Boxy! We can’t always get full sizes 🚫BUT ALLURE🚫…KEEP THE DARN MODEL & CO & EYELITES OUT OF THE BOXES! NO ONE HEARD OF THEM B4 YOU & I DONT LIKE THE BRAND AS WELL AS OTHER PPL, LOTS! MAYBE IT’S TIME TO ACTUALLY READ YOUR CUSTOMERS REVIEWS & SEE HOW MANY PPL ARE CANCELING OR GOING TO, INCLUDING ME AGAIN! BEING “ALLURE” I EXPECT NOTHING BUT THE BEST…WHERES ALL THE COOL, NEW BRANDS & LAUNCHES! AS A BIG WIG COMPANY YOU SHOULD ONLY HAVE TOP OF THE LINE PRODUCTS…NOT THE LEFT OVERS THAT NO ONE ELSE WANTS-WE KNOW THIS HAPPENS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOURE FAMILIAR WITH THE BEAUTY BIZ! IT SEEMED AS THOUGH YOU GUYS DONT CARE ANYMORE & JUST THROW ANYTHING IN THERE! WHAT ABOUT CURATED BOXES W/ THEMES!!!! I WOULD THINK A SUCCESSFUL COMPANY LIKE “ALLURE” WOULD BE AHEAD OF THE GAME BUT IPSY & BOXY ARE BEATING YA’LL HARD CORE!!!! Send products you would want, not what everyone else doesn’t want…WE DONT WANT SLOPPY SECONDS ALLURE, WE LOVE YOU BUT UP YOUR GAME FOR THE CUSTOMERS YOU SAY YOU LOVE!!!!!

No word on the sizes for the Sunday Riley and Bum Bum Cream, right? I’m not expecting full size but if one or both of those are decent sizes, I may consider resubscribing after a long break from this box…!
Reply
Barbara
Trust me, IF either the Sunday Riley or Bum Bum cream were full sized, they would say so inthe description. That is a huge selling point and the only 2 FULL SIZE items this month are the eyeshadows. Rarely do they give more than 2 full sized items.
Add to this that the video of the unboxing shows a teeny sample size of the SR and what looks like the smallest size of Bum Bum. So ladies, it will NOT be anything but small sample sizes. Sorry…

Me too, I have been cancelled since January and this is the first box I have wanted. I think I’ll go through amazon.
I used to get 1-5 allure boxes every month last year I loved them so much. It’s been such a drastic change to items I don’t like at all. Last year was spectacular!

Those Lumify drops have been everywhere. Manufacturer has been giving away samples to everyone they can. I got a full size in a free with purchase bag from Walgreens.

I’ve seen the eye drops in so many boxes and have a few myself. Guess you can never have enough to keep in various places for when you need them.
Everything else looks awesome though. Wonder what sizes the bum bum cream and Sunday Riley items are though.

There is nothing wrong with these drops. The active ingredient in them is very well-studied and well understood, has been used in prescription glaucoma eye drops since 1996 and has been approved for OTC use. They won’t damage your eyes. They selectively and temporarily constrict the capillaries in your eyes to reduce redness. You have to remove your contacts if you wear them before instilling the drops in your eyes, but you can put them in again afterward. Not sure where or why people get the idea that they’re problematic.
Lynda
Why aren’t they good?
