Our monthly favorites posts have been so popular, we decided to start a monthly post highlighting our favorite BEAUTY discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite skincare, green beauty, and makeup items from the past month:

Marne's Favorite:

R+Co FOIL Frizz + Static Control Spray

The Item: R+Co FOIL Frizz + Static Control Spray

The Cost: Retail Value $29.00

From: Sunday Riley

Why I love it: This spray is soooo breezy and smells fantastic. I love the way it makes my hair look and feel without weighing it down. I never cared much for hair products before this one.

Ragan's Favorite:

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box July 2019 - Delia Organics Wake Up Moisturizing Lotion

The Item: Delia Organics Wake Up Moisturizing Lotion

The Cost: Retail Value $17.99

From: Vegan Cuts Beauty

Why I love it: I have been very lazy about skincare lately and this is one product that actually effectively does two things (tones and moisturizes). Plus it doesn't interfere with applying makeup later and it smells nice. And both the brand and item were totally new to me.

Megan's Favorite:

adorable chicken themed egg mask clear packaging on mask shows the clear and yellow egg themed mask

The Item: Dillydelight Real Egging Pack

The Cost: Retail Value $7.99

From: Ipsy

Why I love it: Though this mask was super messy once it was on my face, it will always be one of my favorites because my skin was glowing and just look at the chicken and eggs!! Squeee! I can't.

Brandi's Favorite:

The Item: Scrub Your Worries Away Body Scrub in Beach Life

The Cost: Listed Value $12.00

From: Bonjour Jolie

Why I love it: While the web address is listed on the scrub itself, I could not locate this one online. This is a generously-sized beach scrub and I found it to smell of sea salt and maybe gardenia? It is a light scent that lingers (pleasantly) after you use it. This scrub is made with Epsom, sea, and coarse salts that provide a fine exfoliation. It also has shea butter and various oils including coconut, sunflower, and avocado. I love using this on my legs because the oils leave my legs feeling so silky smooth and hydrated meaning I can skip a step and forgo my usual lotion!

Jessica's Favorite:

Jeffree Star yummy 4 Jeffree Star yummy selfie

The Item: Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Yummy

The Cost: Retail Value $18

The Box: Jeffree Star Summer Mini Mystery Box

Why I love it: I have never considered myself to be an orange lipstick person, but Yummy has just enough burnt orange to compliments my redness-prone skin. This was my first time trying the Velour Liquid Lipstick formula from Jeffree Star, and I can see why it is so popular- it did not one to move one bit but my lips didn’t feel super dried out after wearing.

Abby's Favorite:

The Item: Acure Radically Rejuvenating Day Cream Facial Moisturizers with SPF 30

The Cost: Retail Value $12.99

From: Target Beauty Box

Why I love it: Finding a great physical SPF for the face with the right texture and finish is so hard, so I was thrilled when this one fell into my lap. Zinc oxide is pregnancy safe, and my skin really loves it. It doesn't feel oily or greasy like some sunscreens; it dries into a velvety texture that works perfectly under makeup.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

The Jeffree Starr box wasn’t a subscription box though.

They regularly review mystery boxes here, so I think they count.

I haven’t seen Liz actually review a beauty box in awhile.
