Menlo Club Review "Be Spontaneous" June 2019

I've recruited John to help model and review this box. Menlo Club included 4 shirts this month for each style profile. John is set up to receive "Mix." Let's check it out!

Norin Polo in Heather Gray, L
The Norin polo has a relaxed fit that John really likes. The entire shirt is made from 100% cotton jersey, including the collar and trim. John received the heather gray version which pairs perfectly with his denim and darker pants. The buttons are made of real shell and have a natural but classy feel.
Celso Henley in Off White, L
I love this henley on John. He doesn't have a lot of this style of shirt because the collars tend to be a bit too open for him, but, this one is perfect. The off white color and soft jersey cotton look so good with his skin tone and the rest of his wardrobe. He mentioned liking that the shirt was thick and not see-through. The details of the chest pocket, shell buttons, and side hem splits (on all of the shirts this month) make this tee look sharp.
Bastien Tee in Burgundy, L
The next two shirts are the same style in different colors. These are perfect basic tees that fit well and look nice worn alone or layered under other shirts. Again, John likes that they are substantial in thickness. These are made of a slub cotton jersey so they have a subtle texture and have a contrasting locker loop at the back of the neck.
Bastien Tee in Navy, L
Same tee as above in a nice, rich navy.
Verdict: This month of Menlo Club was exactly what John needed right now. He lives in tees and these not only have a great fit and quality construction but also have sharp details. At first, I thought it was strange to receive 4 jersey shirts in the package, but it turned out to be great! You can check out the value breakdown below, but I think that John would end up spending at least $15 for a good quality tee at the places we shop.
