This month is the long-awaited Birthday Box! Included is a card with all the products inside as well as some new products featured in the shop.
There is also a $5 coupon and a thank you note.
I also found a super cute sticker sheet inside.

Liquid Eyeshadow in 'Audrey', 3 ml – Retail Value $13.00
I really like liquid eyeshadows because they can be subtle or dramatic! I generally always lean towards the subtle, and this pretty gold is very sheer if you are lighthanded with the application. The shimmer is really lovely and the particles are so tiny it could easily be an everyday sort of lid look.
It looks a little less gold when rubbed in.

Glitter in 'Mystique', 3 g – Retail Value $8.00
This light blue glitter with a gold flash is really pretty but it has such an aggressive texture! It honestly feels like tiny shards of glass and even though the site says this can be used on eyes I would never, ever put this anywhere near my peepers.
So pretty, but def. not near my eyes!

Sweet Cheeks Blush in 'Double Dare', 1.4 oz – Retail Value $13.00
I am somewhat of a blush-aholic and I really like bold shades. This is a true Barbie pink and has a very pretty shimmer. It is very smooth and super pigmented, as you can see in the swatch below. You can certainly apply it in a sheer wash which is much more of a natural look, but I decided to swatch it pretty heavily to show off that pink!
That is one delicious pink!

Glitter Blush Brush – Listed Value $9.00
Included with our hot pink blush was a really pretty brush! The handle is clear with blue shades of glitter. The bristles did a great job of grabbing a good amount of my fave blush or highlighter and diffusing them across my cheeks.

Rawganic Facial Wipe - Listed Value $2.00
We also received an individually packaged face wipe with anti-aging ingredients. It had a fruity scent and made my face feel nice and clean.

Finally, our last item is a really cute pale pink motel-style keychain.
Verdict: This month's Medusa's Make-Up Beauty Box has a value of $34.00 if you are just considering the makeup alone. The other fun items add even more value, though I was unable to collect exact retail values for them. Overall, I do think this box was good and I liked all of the celebratory extras, but I have to admit that since there was a ton of build-up over this being a birthday box, I guess I was expecting a little bit more.
