I wish the second choice were more equal value wise. Even though I know I can buy Turkish towels for $18 ish, I would still feel like I lost out if I received the travel tumbler at $13.

If it helps that towel is not good at all. To even call it a towel is an insult to real towels. Thin, low quality.

I mean, the point of a Turkish towel is that they’re lightweight, and woven rather than fuzzy – to dry faster. I haven’t tried this particular one, so I don’t know how it compares to other Turkish towels, but they’re definitely very different from regular towels.

Cindy

If it helps that towel is complete crap. To even call it a towel is a joke.

Was hoping fall would be coming 😁

In the email I received, the price is stated as $49.95, and yet on the website it states $54.95. I am wondering if Causebox would go for the lower price if it is pointed out to them.

They do this with every box and it always confuses people. It’s $49.95 if you pick annual. $54.95 if quarterly. But there’s almost always some kind of discount code to get it for about $45.

I’m the opposite! I find causebox to have more quality and curation. Fabfitfun makes me feel like I’m going to a bargain sale and choosing a few random items. Causebox feels like a treat or present to myself.

The lack of choices for non-annual subscribers still keeps me away. FFF, BoS, and PSMH all give you some choice if not every choice. Causebox hasn’t been consistent enough in their curation for me to want to subscribe annually.

Their IG post is showing a different set of colors for the portfolio: blush pink, cloud gray or classic black.

I also received an email about this new box and you are right about the colors.

I just subscribed and that’s correct. Beige was not an option

Seems a little unfair to get the $13 tumbler instead of the $44 Turkish towel.

Honestly that “turkish towel” is paper thin and anything but a towel. I’d rather have the tumbler.

The towel is exactly like the ones I bought in Istanbul, so it’s very authentic. But those cost about $6 each.

Interesting to have a second welcome box in the same season. I’m wondering if CauseBox has seen a bump in demand as people have just become too fed up with the mess over a time FFF are have been looking for replacements.

Cindy

I recently cancelled FFF and have no plans to replace it with anything especially not Causebox.

Cindy

I recently cancelled FFF and I have certainly not subscribed to Causebox in it’s place. I just save the money and didn’t replace it with anything. In my opinion Causebox is no better than FFF in terms of items and quality.

Or they just have a whole bunch of stuff left over that didn’t sell and they want to clear the warehouse. I don’t think that they’ve seen a real meaningful spike in sales because of the FFF mess.

I agree. If anything they have lost subscribers because they have an excess of product. But the company isn’t going to say that. They are going to market themselves like they have such an overwhelming response to their amazing box that they are offering a second welcome box.
Personally, I don’t find their box appealing and I think it’s the same as FFF. Jade rollers, tumblers, cheap jewelry, and PL beauty. It’s all from Ali Baba and made in China. The turkish towel is a joke as it’s paper thin. But that’s the current fade so everyone is happy to receive such as good which in no way resembles a real Turkish towel. And I really don’t get what causes they are supporting as this stuff is mass manufactured.

Karen

I’m just surprised that Causebox has a second summer welcome box out so soon after the first. The first one was only announced about 3 weeks ago. Some of the items are the same but a lot are different (so I’m assuming they ran out if the items that were in the first one).

I have no idea whether people have actually switched away from FFF as they say they have, but social media, including on FFF’s own forum, is full of people saying they’re jumping ship for other boxes. Just look at the FFF posts on MSA…it’s full of people saying they’ve just cancelled. The level of frustration with all the FFF issues seems to be at an all time high plus a lot of people don’t seem super thrilled with their fall box. The comparable replacement boxes suggested the most often are this one and Margot Elena. Someone recommended JourneeBox to me and I’m thrilled with it.

Jenn

I’m a little confused. I have the annual sub and got the summer box. When I log into my a account, it prompts me to make selections to get the summer box two. But I shouldn’t be getting a box until the fall box. It’s really unclear if this would be a separate purchase, if it would take one away from the 4 boxes I prepaid, or if making selections automatically places an order (there’s no order/confirm button, just a save selections button).

Hi Jenn – I just read your post and then went to my account because I just did the same thing as you and signed up with the 1st Welcome Box. I just read this in my account:
