Bespoke Post is a men’s subscription box that offers a new selection of curated boxes each month and allows you to choose the one you like best. The included items range from clothing to DIY kits, to lifestyle, to home and everything in between so that there is always something for everyone. This is the first time I've reviewed Bespoke Post after lusting after it for years, so I'm really excited to show you what I chose!

This is a review of the "On Tap" box, which is currently sold out. Opt for a restock notification here!

About Bespoke Post

The Subscription Box: Bespoke Post

The Cost: $45 a month for members, $55 if purchased without a membership.

The Products: Monthly lifestyle items, curated around a theme.

Ships to: the lower 48 US states for $3.95, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada for $10. All orders over $75 qualify for free shipping.

Getting Started

Since I'm new to Bespoke Post, I thought I'd share a few basics on how this subscription works since it's slightly different than others. When you first sign up, you'll go through a series of questions about the type of items you're interested in such as drinks, clothing, outdoorsy items, et cetera. Shortly after that, you'll get an email that suggests your first curated box based on your answers and you'll have several days to decide to keep it or swap it out for a different one. You also have the option to add on items from their large marketplace to your order that will ship along with it at no additional shipping cost. Many of the items are offered at a special discounted price for subscribers, but all of them are chosen by the Bespoke Post team for their quality and uniqueness.

Although Bespoke Post releases several new themed boxes each month, you are also able to select a past box that is still in stock. It can get a little confusing if you're looking for a specific box or a list of every single box available, but if you read our spoilers and use their search tool, you can find all sorts of things. It looks like it serves me up boxes based on my questionnaire answers, but I can always find additional ones by doing a little sleuthing.

Bespoke Post "On Tap" Review

The first thing I saw when I opened the box was an info card featuring a lovely photo of the "hero" item from my chosen box. The theme is "On Tap" and centered on summertime drinks and the card gives an overview of each item included.

MiiR 64 oz. Growler in White - Retail Value $59.95

This insulated reusable growler is what I was most excited about when I decided to go for this box. A recent BBQ was fresh in my mind and I had coveted a similar growler that someone brought local beer in. One of my favorite warm-weather activities is laying around in a park or backyard on a blanket with friends while chatting and enjoying a frosty beverage. While this growler can be used for any old drink (not just alcoholic ones), I made a nice big batch of a watermelon cocktail that this would be the perfect travel vessel for. Alternately, I can fill 'er up at a favorite brewery to cut down on bottle or can waste before heading out to a party. I love that this 64-ounce bright white container comes with a latched lid and handle for easy pouring while it also can be twisted off to allow less awkward filling up. Heck, you can even drink straight from it if you so desire. The best feature of this growler though is its double-walled insulation that keeps the contents cold for up to 24 hours! That makes it ideal for the heat since no one I know like warm beer. If cold bevvies aren't your thing, you can use this for hot liquids like coffee or soup and they'll stay toasty for 12 hours. Fall camping or hiking trips, I hear you calling! The quality here is just amazing and this simple yet well-designed growler is ready for any kind of adventure.

MiiR 16 oz. Stainless Pint Cup, Set of 2 - Total Retail Value $19.90 ($9.95 each)

So I have a solid growler, but what about drinkware? The two stainless steel cups included, also from MiiR, are perfect companions. These pint cups will go anywhere the growler goes- be in backyards, parks, or the woods. We all know that plastic cups are for the birds, so these stainless babies will also help save some waste from landfills. They can also take quite a bit of banging around unlike glass or ceramic. The growler holds four pints, so two people can get two full helpings of the preferred beverage in these cups before having to run out for a refill.

Here is the MiiR cup in action with my watermelon cocktail. Yum!

Ash & Fir Citronella Incense Cones, 6 ct

I love a good porch sit but I don't love the mosquitos that come along with porch-sitting weather. These handsomely packaged citronella incense cones are also an awesome alternative to a bulky candle that you may not want to pack for a camping trip. Simply light one of these babies up and set it in a dish for safety to let pesky bugs know they aren't welcome at your party. I rather like a citronella scent, so these smell really nice to me and the strong fragrance reassures me that I won't get eaten up by mosquitos when I'm close. These are exclusive to Bespoke Post, so I'm not able to get a solid retail value for them but there are 6 cones included in the resealable pouch that each burn for 20-30 minutes which should last you several events.

Verdict: I really loved my first Bespoke Post! Honestly, choosing a box to receive was really hard for me since I loved so many of them, but I'm really happy with "On Tap." The quality of each item is amazing and the value is great since the growler alone has a $60 value. I had been thinking of buying a good travel growler anyhow since I've been all about sour beer and trying out all the Pittsburgh breweries this summer, so this is a great win for me. Even when summer fades, I can use this year-round for a myriad of other things. Overall- the value of this box is $79.85 (plus the incense cones) and I only paid $33.75 for my first box by using our code!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Unfortunately, this box has sold out, but you can opt for a restock notification here.

Value Breakdown: This $45.00 box (even cheaper as my first box) has a value of at least $79.85. That's a discount of about 44%.

I love this On Tap box. I signed up before but could never choose a box. This would be the one for me. Too bad it’s sold out.

Oh no, Jody! Their website can be a little confusing. I suggest reaching out to customer service so they can help you choose the box you want.
I think I had to wait for an email (that came only and hour or so after I signed up) to be able to choose one.

I know, right? I think most of the items in these boxes speak to anyone who likes well-made items with great design. Not just the dudes.

The New York Times rated that Growler as the number one best of 2019 and I get why – it’s amazing. I got the stainless steel version in the summer Cairn Obsidian box and I’m loving it. Perfect for car camping.
