I have been receiving Beauty Fix for almost one year. I think it is a great sample box. I have never had any issues. The September box just arrived today, everything is packed well and presented in a caring manner. I will continue to purchase this box even though I am fully stocked. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. If there is something you don’t care for just pass it on to a friend who can appreciate a little goodie.

Beauty fix September box up for sale now…,also I talked with a lady at c.s. she said beauty fix will have a profile or at least have someway for them to keep up with us better…either late this year or first of the year…. can’t wait for this…

Alice

Thank you for sharing this! That will be great!

Oh yay!! Thanks for posting this! : ) Adding a profile would be great!

I just finished an online customer service chat with Beautyfix and they said there’s ‘no releasable ETA on when September will be available.’ They would not elaborate. Weird. I have to wonder if they’re having problems with items in the box being fulfilled. I don’t know if this is usual for them or if it’s irregular for them to not have their next month ready to go a few days into the new month.

Alice

I received an email yesterday…my September is on its way.

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

That is odd. I wonder if they sent them to monthly subscribers yet.

Reply ButtonReply

Natalie

They have – mine shipped today 🙂

Emily

Anyone else having trouble ordering the September box? I cancelled because I thought August was crap. When I go to the website they only show past boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

sara

Yes, I can’t get to the September box yet either. I think they’re in the middle of taking down August and putting up September. I would bet September will be up momentarily.

I’m confused as to why people think that for $25 a month they should be receiving full sizes of prestige skincare products? I don’t subscribe to beauty boxes but I read MSA reviews to discover new products then purchase them myself. Isn’t that the idea behind sub boxes?

Reply ButtonReply

Nanci

I agree. They cry about not getting high end products in their 25.00 Ipsy Plus as well.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Why would you go by MSA reviews? User reviews on Ulta and Sephora sites would be a lot more reliable.

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya M

Is Sephora online the site Sunday Riley had employees write biased reviews? Not that any other brand would attempt or have tried the method. I do like a few SR products but I didn’t know any site was trustworthy because of volume. Sub boxes have been fun and a learning experience. I had no idea I looked like a dang fool in cool tone shadow or I was in dire need of a Retinol eye cream. I miss seeing which monthly highlighter gave me presence on Venus. I miss finding which black eyeliner lasted all day at work with zero touch up. I miss getting 9 boxes a month and hoping to build back up to it by mid 2020. Here’s to you September Beautyfix for helping me discover innovative storage space. Happy Long weekend to those who have it.

This box is terrible. I remember the good old days when you got full size products and there were coupons for $14 boxes. That being said. I got a bkr water bottle in another box and I love it. I fits in all my purses and I have dropped it a few times without the glass breaking, plus it’s dishwater safe unlike swell. I might buy this one when they move it to the previous boxes page.

I finally pulled the trigger and canceled. I have been very loyal and have never missed a box since 2013. But the last three boxes (and some more sprinkled throughout the year) have been lackluster for those of us who remember the Beauty Fix of old. The value is not there for me. Yes, the brands are fabulous! No, I couldn’t purchase these at full price. But I am on product overload, so why not use what I already have and save my money this month? The biggest reason I was encouraged to leave was because three of my sample tubes in a recent box were empty. I cut them in half to show that two had never had product inside and one had some dried residue but no product. I emailed customer service and they have not replied and it’s been about 6 weeks ago!!! This is unacceptable to me as a customer. Do they just not read emails? If so, why have email listed as a way to contact them? So many people have said to avoid email and go to chat or phone but no, I wanted to test this for myself. You failed, Beauty Fix. I may come back another day, but not today. And not tomorrow or a whole bunch of days. Perhaps I’ll be back when you answer my email. P.S. You can keep your caviar treatment. No dead fish eggs for me, thanks!!

I have been pretty satisfied with them. Ever since I’ve been receiving the boxes. But in reading your comment I also had that same problem to were I opened a small eye cream tub and also was empty, I thought it was kind of weird, and that never had happened before. It was as if someone opened it and used it left left kind of enough for one use. I truly hope that it doesn’t happen again because if it does I’m afraid I will have to cancel instead it’s a little scary knowing someone can sabotage these products like that.

You might try leaving one comment on the beautyfix Instagram, I left ONE comment about receiving a broken item in my box, and they slid into my D.M.s and sent me an entire new box that day. I’ve had an amazing experience with them.

Reply ButtonReply

Terri

Why wouldn’t you just call them? Any time ive had a issue i call them and the problem is solved.

August was my first beauty fix box and first beauty box ever. (I know, late to the party). I don’t expect full-size products for a $25 box but I would rather have deluxe sample sizes of products that are more affordable in full size should I like the product and want to purchase it. The people who can afford $90 1 oz eye cream aren’t purchasing these boxes in the first place. You would think it would be more advantageous for the derm store to provide larger product samples so people can get a feel for a product and want to purchase after trying a deluxe sample. My two cents

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Horrible customer service. They won’t ever answer your email. My August box was missing 2 products from it completely. They didnt even bother sending me empty tubes. I emailed them the day I received my box ( this is before I knew they don’t believe in replying to emails). No response for weeks. That’s when I noticed some of the comments about having to call them…so I did. She conveniently could not locate this email I sent and I was told it’s now the end of August and the box is sold out. I should have called sooner. I said ummm no, it’s not my fault you guys cant respond to emails . Hung up the phone and canceled my subscription.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristina

Finally decided to cancel. I have has this box for years, but getting tired of small samples, and repeat products. Plus last month my box was missing the most expensive product PCA lip booster. Chatted with them and they said it was sold out, and they sent me another PCA small sample of mostly air.

Shai

Canceled I think I’m just going to cancel all my subscriptions and keep all 3 ipsys lol get everything I need. Skincare, hair care and makeup

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya

Close call!! I almost just re-subbed for that Sept box, but I really really don’t want the August one. Glad I stopped in time.

Reply ButtonReply

Macaroni

just subscribe later! I cancelled too but am thinking about resubbing. I would like to get that waterbottle, its too expensive on its own…

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya

I will resub right now! I like the Ultra repair creme and have paid full price for that argan oil in the past. I have loved most things Murad, so I look forward to trying that, even though I’m not sure I can get a feel for it with that little bottle. Also, I paid for a tutu spiked bottle in the FFF Spring Edit, so to get everything else for almost the price I paid for my bottle is a deal! We have water refill machines with cold water in them at work and at home. I love drinking out of glass, versus stainless steel. This is a great box for me, anyway!

Reply ButtonReply

Debbie

A water bottle? Um, no. I don’t know why beauty boxes think that we don’t have water bottles at home. Right into the goodwill pile. I signed up for a year but I’m going to cancel when it’s up. I do like the argan oil but the only full size is first aid beauty and they are like eyeliner eyeliner, in every freaking box. I will use it on my arms but honestly, I’m not nuts about the brand and even if I were, I get it all the time. This box is so not exciting.

Reply ButtonReply

Brice

Despite loving some of the items I have received the past few months, I think it’s time to cancel. Not that a water bottle wouldn’t be useful but given that the other full size item is a mini version worth $12 I don’t think I can justify spending $25 on samples.

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

I have or have tried every single thing EXCEPT the water bottle. I’m passing on this one.

Reply ButtonReply

Anne

wow, I usually love Beautyfix. This collection doesn’t even look recognizable to me as something they’d put out. I’d have guessed a totally different box. Cancelling/pausing now. ugh

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

I cancelled earlier this month and I’m not inspired to resub.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Same old, same old.

Btw, I have a similar water bottle, and can someone please tell me how you are supposed to wash it with that silicone sleeve? It doesn’t come off, but it’s bound to develop mildew underneath eventually, no?

Reply ButtonReply

Lory

The sleeve comes off! The bottom has a circle of the glass exposed. Just hold it firmly and push up the glass from the bottom, it slides right off :).

Reply ButtonReply

BG

Bkr bottles are my favorite and they cost way more than the box. Excited!! The sleeve comes off. Just don’t put the cap in the dishwasher!

Reply ButtonReply

R

You can take the rubber sleeve off the bottle by pushing through the opening at the bottom. I wash the bottle and the sleeve separately and let them dry completely before re-assembling them.

Reply ButtonReply

Courtney

Soooo the water bottle is included. I saw the spoilers on a different site last night && everybody was wondering if the water bottle was included or not since last time they showed a water bottle on the spoilers && it was not included. But this month is the same old same thing!!! Ugh!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Jill M

Meh, I’m not saying it’s not a good box. I’m just saying it’s not for me. The two items I’m really interested in, I already have in full size so it’s really not worth it for me this month. I have way toooo many water bottles including BKR so I’m gonna skip this one.

Reply ButtonReply

Kelsey

I am so excited for this box! I already have a BKR, but I love that little thing so I’m excited to have another! Perfect!

Reply ButtonReply

Punkykiki

BeautyFix, this was your last month to prove I still needed you around. Sadly, I don’t think this was a great effort. BeautyFix of 4-5 years ago had a hero item, or a couple of full sized products or some type of beauty tool. I no longer want to pay $25 for a box of tiny samples. There is no hype or excitability around the box spoilers anymore….it’s just “well, here you go.” Is Dermstore in trouble? Are the boxes losing money? Should we go back to the beauty counters and get a nice bag of free samples? This is so hard, but let’s admit it BeautyFix……the thrill has been gone for quite some time. It’s not working for me. I do so hope we can remain friends.

Callmeinge

Dermstore & Target are in the same company and both beauty boxes has ‘declined’ in quality.
Maybe they just don’t see the profit in putting full size products in the box for marketing ?
Could be anything…

Reply ButtonReply

Punkykiki

I didn’t know Dermstore and Target were connected! But you’re right, both of their boxes have been on a steady decline lately. I haven’t bought a Target box since the Boots No.7 and I was one of those people who sat up all night hitting refresh so I wouldn’t miss out. I love Dermatore and I have loved Beauty Fix for the most part, but I just can’t see paying $25 for tiny air-filled sample tubes. Hoping they’ll both get it together and come back strong….this is not the time for a sub-par showing when Ipsy and Boxy are taking everyone’s sub money.

Amarante

So glad I dropped this box.

Nothing wrong with a water bottle but why would I subscribe to a beauty box to get a water bottle. Does someone really need a water bottle and is unable to get exactly what they need by buying it.

And a bunch of tiny samples which means they are paying almost nothing for these items from the brands. I am not a fan of small skim care samples because what’s the point since there isn’t enough to really evaluate. At this price point, they need to include at least two full size products that exceed the price of the box. There just isn’t enough value in their box to want to spend money on a mishmash of samples. I can take the money and buy whatever I want.

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya M

Nice … even better than last month!!! Way to go Beauty Fix!

Reply ButtonReply

Paula

When a mediocre water bottle is the best item in a beauty box, you know there’s a problem with the box…

C’mon beautyfix… months of tiny samples with very low value. What gives?

Sooo many people have canceled…

Reply ButtonReply

amber

I think it’s a pretty fantastic water bottle. I have two – using one right now, as a matter of fact.

Reply ButtonReply

Preetam Singareddy

Really? A water bottle is one of the main focuses of a ‘beauty’ box?

judy

Not mediocre if you prefer drinking from glass rather than plastic or metal…. I have one in my office and one at home and I’m getting this one too…….. they make nice gifts as well!!! I love mine…. 😀

Reply ButtonReply

Elaine

Btw, everyone, I bought a BKR bottle from the Boxy pop up and I LOVE it, absolutely love. I’m not sure why, but I’m attached to it and hardly drink out of anything else. No more plastic for me. I will probably get this box just to have another one.

Reply ButtonReply

Reese

I used to love BeautyFix, but haven’t gotten a box in a few months now. I was *a little* tempted by this one, but when I read the comments I realize…meh. I don’t need a water bottle and I usually don’t enjoy FAB as much as I wish I did. It’s OK, but some products I really hate the feel or scent of and overall I don’t have FOMO. I miss when BF did one impressive full-size item, like the Lancer Oil or last summer when we got NIA and ColorScience sunscreens. The samples were always a “bonus” for me as long as one item was worth the cost of the box and something I would actually want to buy for myself to try.

Reply ButtonReply

KatS

You must have missed it but the June box had the full size ColorScience sunscreen again and a full size NIA cream

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Yes! Great box. I wonder about some of these comments. If folks don’t like the subscriptions, cancel. Truly, I believe most of them who say they’re cancelling…don’t. Suppose there wasn’t this site, and these ‘spoilers’, would they still be cancelling…month after month? I don’t think so, lol. They would be awaiting the mystery of the surprise!

Molly

Awesome box. I received this same bottle years ago in a popsugar monthly box, I think. I would love to have 2. And the full size FAB is a great product. Love that stuff. The other deluxe sizes are great, too.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

I agree! I look on the positive side of everything. I haven’t tried ANY of these products. I’m looking forward to them.
